    Thanks for making this video. I'm doing my college degree in Architectural Technology and this was really helpful and inspiring. We haven't gotten to colour rendering yet, but I'm going to mess with it anyway because...well, just because.

    Excellent tutorial, so how do you fix the line weight when you plot DWG to PDF? Because every time I do DWG to PDF the line weights get really thick on the PDF, and when I zoom in the lines get blurry.

  • @BrookeGodfrey
    @BrookeGodfrey  11 лет назад

    Hmm. I usually have the opposite problem, and the lines are really thin when I export them. Take a look at what lineweight you're using to draw - is it really thick? You can have the show/hide lineweight button at the bottom of the screen toggled off - if you do it won't show up until you print.

    Do you mean the layering in AutoCAD or in Photoshop?

  • @BrookeGodfrey
    @BrookeGodfrey  10 лет назад +8

    You just make it a PDF in AutoCAD, then open it in Photoshop. Once it's open, you can convert it to a PSD, TIFF, or whatever you want.

    just increase the image resolution by going on to image then image size and you'll find resolution... increase it to 150 or more according to the result you want...

    Why can't Adobe create a rules based set of filters that could be applied to an imported CAD file when we import it? We need the software to automate the process 80% to 90% - not to become an electronic pencil. Too many manual steps...
