I work as draftsman and sketchup +vray is much faster for me..I'm not that familiar with photoshop though I use it in creating wedding invitations for my wife's business. planning to learn more about photoshop next year 😆😊

Hey the stroke on the columns are not working, they are either white or gray. I cant get it to be in red. Window color also doesnt work. Any fix?

Looks really good and very clear tutorial, not sure where you are based but at least in the US Building Departments only want construction documents, clients don’t want to pay for this, and developers/banks really only care about the cost/profit/numbers.
Great input and I totally agree. The toolkit is designed and intended for presentation purposes only. Specifically for students, this can be used for student projects, architectural competitions, etc.
I‘m thinking to recreate all of this in Figma due to its powerful variables and components capabilities.

instead of loading the actions, can't we use the layer styles instead, what is the difference? please i need a response
Layer styles are also included in the toolkit. But Photoshop Actions are better since it automatically do it for you in 1 click. A layer style does the job, but you need to do alot of clicks.

I think you can request the floor plans from the building manager. At least that’s how I’ve gotten a hold of floor plans in the past.
Bro whats your plot settings when you plot the cad file into pdf?
I’d suggest 0.5mm for the thickest, 0.3mm for the medium lines and 0.09mm for the thin lines. Play around with the lineweights, it depends on your preference. Having no lineweights when plotting would result to a bad resolution pdf after you import it to photoshop.

I was trying to buy the floor render plan for 19.99 USD but could not buy it. It kept giving me an error to change the card, I tried it with different cards but was still unsuccessful. Can u give me a solution to that? I will appreciate the help.

Hello. Make sure to import the layer styles and the patterns in Photoshop. Also, have you imported the updated files?

Any photoshop version could give the same result but newer is better .
have any clue why each time i use an action it insert the group into another group !!
As stated in the video, it is recommended to click the lowest layer before using the action to avoid this. Another way is to rename the layers in the group. 😄
I’m still trying to find other ways to do it and will have some updates in the near future!
