I know this is a super old tutorial but I just have to say THANK YOU SO MUCH! I am an interior design student and our tutor did not go over details about rendering floor plan on adobe products, he chose illustrator over photoshop! But your tutorial is so easy and detailed to follow through, thanks for saving my time!

Thank you so much! I want to know, is there a way to edit 1 part of the selected areas you created an adjustment layer for to fill with a pattern? For ex, I selected the whole house an made it wood, but I wanted to just change the bathroom to a tile pattern?

Well, yes, there would be a few ways to work around it. Ultimately, I would probably just reselect the area and go on top of it, or do a new fill.

Love your videos, one question though. What if you don't happen to have lines separating the different floor types in the doorways? Is there a way to add them in photoshop? Because I've already gone too far to change the floor plan in Autocad and reload it into photoshop. Thanks!

Hi Brooke! Thanks again for the great tutorial, I use this technique all the time now! Just wanted to check if your recently created Facebook page is authentic? Clearly you can speak fluent English so it seemed odd that you (or someone else?) types in weirdy broken English on your fbook page. Apologies in advance if it is you! (awkward!) Keep up the great work and Merry Christmas! :-D
