- Hoi again!
Welcome back to Wreckfest!
Today we will be making the Rammer a little lighter and faster, and taking it to two different extreme race tracks (that I'm certain are approved by the right pen-pushers...).
The response to part 1 has been fantastic; you guys really seem to like the format, so I believe this series will be here to stay for as long as you guys want :D Thank you for all of your comments. I will endeavor to make this series extra special!
Later this week will be two more videos: both familiar games that couldn't be more different... you'll see ;)
I hope you're well.
Get some good sleep~

Thanks to the commenters who have corrected me. You are smart!
(I have removed the part in question)
While the concept of torque being a twisting force is correct, my numbers were off 📉
A newton metre is _not_ 1kg 1m away from the centre of something. It is actually simply one newton of force one metre away (if a kilogram of mass was put on it, it would not be 1NM. I'm afraid you'll have to do the maths yourself, because I can't!).
Sorry for this mistake; that'll teach me to rush new concepts and not listen properly before speaking with authority over the matter.
I shall be more thorough next time!
what, your back?
part 3 when?
If there ever was a "Batesee Villain Backstory" it's this video. The sheer dedication and error through this entire track, and the body slam in the end. Would've turned me to the dark side, I can imagine how bad you feel bud.
A villan arc from batesee would be cool to see.
Batey: "I should be unstoppable... unless I have a terrible accident"
Me with the knowledge of the opening scene: You absolute fool.
Murphy's law at play
That car dropping on you at the end is a disrespect xD
Loving the series, keep it up!
Its like that scene from top gear where piano drops onto May's car with him inside
Batesee. More like flat.
I absolutely love how batesee goes into death loop map and right after his second attempt he goes: “Get out of out the way! >:(“ then right after switches his voice to “don’t touch me D:”
Oh my god you're back! Seeing your icon in my RUclips notifications actually made me genuinely smile. Something I, unfortunately, haven't been doing much of lately. It's good to have you back, man. I can't talk for everyone, but... I've missed you, dude.
Learned more about cars from Batesee than I ever did from my dad and driving school. 😂
It's been hard for me to find a game that's enjoyable, but you really helped me out here and I thank you for that. I genuinely love your content and listening to what you have to say, glad that you're back to uploading !!
Glad to be back!
Thank YOU for the comment. Makes me happy to hear people like my stuff :D
18:55 We will now begin the push-up section. Ready? Begin! *DOWN*
that ending, what a way to finish
I really, really like this series. The commentary, the camera work, the editing, the absolute mayhem of the game itself. What a perfect combination.
I'm really glad! :D
I love this game, and thought it deserved a spotlight. I'm happy you like it too~
lmfao the last driver landing ontop of him after the failed loop was the cherry on top
“I really can’t afford any collisions”
*gets into collision*
The super clam attitude while basically crashing into things at a near fatal speed with a action camera watching it happen is beyond funny to me
That ending is straight out of a comedy skit. I love it.
That ending definitely killed the driver. Total squish
Ah he'll be 'right!
... surely! :,)
That wreck through the loop had such good conedic timing lmao. Really thought you were gonna make it then you flopped 😭
I like that you actually took the time to explain what torque and horse power are, considering I have no knowledge of automobiles at all. It was interesting learning about them, and the animations helped a lot with visualization!
I'm glad! It took me far too long to understand; very few explanations online are simple, and go way too far into the maths of it and not the _concept_
So I did it myself ╭(`u´)╮
And that means a lot coming from you! Thanks! I'll have to incorporate more animating C:
That ending is 100% a "Moments with Batesee" moment
18:54 LOL THAT ENDING CAUGHT ME SO OFF GUARD XD
8:28 HP is basically how much power it produces overall (torque x RPM / 5252) basically 1hp is equal to the pulling force and speed of a mare if you have 10hp its ten times the power of a horse either ten times the speed but the same pulling force as a horse or ten times the force of a horse but the same speed as the horse both can pull the same force its that simple. the reason it got this name was due to farming some jobs took 1 horse whist others took 10 horses so buying a machine to do a specific job the horse power was a major factor the higher it was the more jobs can be done. torque is usually listed separately due to different engine use cases of each engine, lets start with 200hp with 600lbs of torque is great for towing heavy weights whist 200hp and 30lb's of torque is something that is used for propeller engines.
it’s really cool seeing you playing wreck fest surprisingly not a lot of people know about this game! Keep up the good work mate love your content.
That ending is something outta damn comedy movies, that was so sudden
This is wonderful~ my fiance loves the idea of cars and can rattle off name and model of everything in a parking lot but this is actually teaching her things.
Plus you are a very genuine person which makes it all the more interesting.
That ending though, literally the final nail in the coffin
Dude this video was absolutely SLAYING ME at several points, the little Batesee smashing the engine with the hammer was absolutely smashing!
I never was a fan of racing
But boy do I love watching cars go smashy
that ending of the car just perfectly falling onto yours was amazing
I got into this game a month and a half ago and got all the DLC for it the same day, it's super fun. I spend hours just customizing the vehicles, testing them and finding out which one suits best for destruction derbies and which one suits better for races
I absolutely love how you explained what different things do (like differential and suspension). I played many racing games and have hundreds of hours in FlatOut 2 (the granddad of Wreckfest), yet I never really understood what the terminology meant. Now I do, and it wasn't really that difficult. Thank you :)
It’s been some time, I had NOTHING else to watch since 3 YEARS, glad your back man, respect
Deathloop and Hellride are probably my favorite tracks. Sandstone Raceway Alt is always a fun first turn, too.
I just finished the previous video lol I'm definitely going to love this little series or however large it may be :P
I keep on checking RUclips and seeing that you just uploaded, glad that your back, love the videos mate.
16:03 casually blowing your transmission at the start of the race haha, great video again! Really wanna buy the game now lol
When you were mentioning the way torque works I kept thinking of the Churchill Infantry Tank from WW2. It's engine was only 350hp but the torque was so high that it was able to very slowly climb up inclines as steep as 65° up which also gave it very good towing ability despite its low horsepower engine
im a huge racing fan and fan of racing games but ive never had these things thoroughly explained to me. Now i know!! tysm for the clean and concise explanation. i think this series will create a lot of new racing fans. thanks for these
I'm really happy to hear that :D More of these are on the way!
Distinct Universe Sandbox vibes from this series. A passionate about the topic person having a great time with the game creations.
Waiting for the character redemption arc to start for Batesee next video.
That final car caught me of guard lol
Me too...
|: *snap*
@@TheBatesee you are going to need a hospital check. I don't think that's a very healthy experience. Don't quote me on that.
This is better than most reality tv shows. Glad you're back b8c
Not many creators record and explain the modification process like you do, and I think that's a fantastic little touch.
I'm definitely looking forward to more videos!
God, it's still so surreal that you're uploading again. You left when I was a sophomore/freshman in HS. (9th/10th, if you need numbers) I'm so glad that I'll have you again throughout my college carreer, love you B8_C!
3:40 Bruh a fellow Teams of fortress the second installment enjoyer
Holy shit that final crash at the end! As if you weren't dead enough one of the bastards did a wrestling move to keep you down.
Best username for the driver and his car
Glad to see this again! I really love this game. Btw one question, what wheel and shifter are you using? I plan on getting a setup like that.
Edit: Do you possibly think you would do a video where you play with fans?
That ending scared me and made me giggle at the same time
Watching how you tune your cars actually helped me get an edge to this game lol thanks for everything my favorite RUclipsr. And. Since it's been a lonnngggg time. I'll say it. "Far out"
This is some of your best yet underrated content, great work man!
Batesee being back cures my 2020/2021 related depression.
Damn, the V8 sounds very like it wants to battle :D
V8 best engine change my mind XD
Also: 6:53 Physics with Batesee
So good to see you again, old friend! Missed your content while you were away, now every time I see a notif pop up I pop my head in to see how you're doing. Welcome back buddy! :)
Please play more Wreckfest! This game seems so much fun, I'm actually pondering buying a steering wheel with shifter and pedals to play it
never have i been so interested in a video about a car game. you've done the impossible good sir
These videos are a really nice comfort to me, and help greatly to keep me sane on my breaks during work. Looking forward to more :)
Doing the loop was at least a cool-looking way to go out, even if you didn't fully make it
this is amazing
I'd love to see more of this
Fantastic video, that ending couldn't have been better.
loving those cinematic cuts my man, amazing series so far
Love these wreckfest videos! That first wreck was funny!
I usually don't like racing games but damn it I'm emotionally invested now
Also the editing is masterful
Your ending style has evolved so much, I like the little ._. animations especially
What a great way to end my evening! x) Thanks for the extra explanation for the torque, hp and powerband, I didn't even know that torque and powerband were a thing and I just knew that more hp = more speed (more or less), I have 2 questions though (sorry if you already answered them): What is the heart beat like sound at 14:14? Is it a precursor to the terrible knock or is it the driver freaking out? x) And how do you make the cinematic shots? Is it a replay system or are you doing these in real time? (if it is hat off to you!)
I'm glad you liked it! No worries :D
In essence that's what HP is, but even a torque-y car can be fast with the right gearing.
1) That would be one of the front wheels bouncing into the car's body repeatedly. A sharp enough impact will push it back pretty far!
2) I edit them in post using the replay editor. There is a 'cinematic camera' option for when you're driving, but doing it live would be very hard... I crash enough using first person mode xD
Thanks for your comment!
Didn't know how much i needed your content recently 😩 thank you for not staying in the past
Am usually not into car racing games but you sir make it really entertaining to watch
TheBatesee:I cant afford more collisions
The game:Yes you can BOOM annoying car BOOM a car that can afford collisions BOOM fire in the engine KABOOM youre wrecked and you went insane
3:35 that man is LITERALLY mush oh my god
I've still got excitement leftover from the first video! I'm enjoying these vids. :P
Lol that last crash had to hurt i am sorry my dude that was too funny
That ending was so beutiful, I kept going back to watch it!
You just explained horse power and torque better than my science teacher probably will, also I am literally watching your videos from the other side of the earth (I'm from Sweden) and you are by far one of my favorite youtubers. I like that your editing style has evolved slightly I think it's better. However the style you had before wasn't bad of course
Yay!
(Unfortunately, while the concepts I spoke about are correct, the numbers aren't right...
A newton metre is not 1kg 1m away, so please don't go quoting me on that! I'd hate to give wrong answers to anyone doing tests D: )
I'm glad you like the editing too! I'm trying lots of different techniques out and it's great to hear they're well-recieved. Thank you :)
These videos prove Batesee is a car nut.
Lovely series so far! looking forward to more for sure!
…he then proceeded to have every terrible accident possible
Great vid man!
absolutely loving it, this game is awesome
cinematic shots are really nice too
It's really fun! Such a balanced game that ticks all the boxes :D
I'm glad you enjoyed this coverage of it!
Hands down my favorite youtuber
I'm so happy to see you back Batesee i remember the first ever video i watched when found your channel and i think it was a SCP video
Man, I love watching your videos. Always give me a good laugh. Thank you :)
That's very good to hear :) No worries!
Gosh I missed you so much these videos are so fun.
And educational?? Like bruh this is fine wine.
Ngl I didn't think I would like this as much as I do.
Well another video and I’m happy still in shock seeing your return it’s amazing
Man, that ending was hard to watch. Your poor car isn't a car at all, it's a piece of turkey getting sandwiched.
Gosh your editing is so clean and cool!
3:40
Love the visuals bro💪🏼
whenever i see this man upload, it makes me relive when he returned.
You got it Bate! I believe in you!
Honestly I miss you nerding out over cars and motorbikes. Can we expect more Batesee rides? Even though I don't know much about cars I loved seeing you cruise throughout your neighborhood and such
One day! :D
I have no bike at the moment, but that could change...
@@TheBatesee oooh looking forward to that
Bro you're makin me wanna redownload this game, stop. LOL
Fr tho this game is so good, made from the same dudes who made a few of the FlatOut games. FlatOut 2 is my favorite :) but the best game by Bugbear has to be Wreckfest, that's it I'm redownloading this damn game, damn you Batesee 😩
damn this car is sick, looks like babushka's mashina.
You introduced me to this game, glad to see another video on it,, thx dood.
Favorite man, stay amazing Bats!
Let's gooooooooo, looking forward to your next apload
Dear diary.
B8C uploaded today. And while entertaining me, he also educated me about cars. He is my new dad now.
Wish i could watch right now but the timing of upload is quite unfortunate, will watch tomorrow after waking up, keep it going, love and support ya 👍
I shall! Thank you very much!
(Say, do you think this particular upload time is always inconvenient? I could change it up if necessary!)
@@TheBatesee Sorry for the late reply, i'm from morocco, my time is the same as western and central europe, it was uploaded at the time i had to sleep to go to school near midnight, you don't have to change it, unless your viewers are mostly europeans and it doesn't inconvenience you :)
6:57 Actually a Nm is one newton times a one meter arm. A 1kg weight would be 9,82 newtons, thus 9,82Nm if the arm is 1 meter.
Thank you for the correction! I shouldn't have spoken with the authority I did, what with my poor maths and all :P
I shall add a disclaimer in the comments. Cheers for keeping me accountable!
@@TheBatesee It’s all good! The animations were really nice and I enjoy these videos a whole lot. Keep em coming Batesee boi! :p
Oh by the way, if you’re interested in knowing a bit more.
The formula for torque is simply:
T = F * l
T torque [Nm]
F force [N]
l length [m]
As the gravitational constant is 9.82, you would need a weight of about 0.1kg if the arm is 1m in order to get 1Nm of torque. (F = m * g, force = mass * gravity)
However, as we are using gravity as our source of said force, the value of torque would only be accurate when the arm would be horizontal, as gravity alway acts down. So as the arm rotates we would have to divide the resultant (force) into vectors as the force in torque always has to be at a 90 degree angle to the arm in order to calculate it (the weight is forced to move in multiple directions at once due to the arm, but wants to go down) So to simply put it, just having a force always directly at the arm makes it a whole lot easier.
Hope that explains it a bit further, really it’s not as complex as most people would think! :>
I love the video, I wonder if you have any riding videos planned. If so, can't wait for them, they are my favorite
Not set in stone, but I would like to ride again one day!
I'm glad you like those vids. They were always fun to film :D
@@TheBatesee they were some of my favorite. Entertaining aswell
