What happened to spooky in the original game was she tried spooking someone with a party popper, that someone she spooked was a veteran, who shot her, mistaking the pop for gunfire, then the Director attempted to resurrected her, but it seems that in this dlc, the Director shot her, and planted the gun on a homeless veteran
that was the plot twist
The person she scared was her father, who then shot her. Then, he tried to revive her.

This is honestly a really sad and touching story but with a nice ending. Damn. Also the cutscene right after Spooky has been shot is just... horrible to watch.

Spooky’s will always be one of my favorites in horror. I still need to go back and replay it more. Playing in VR is a lot more spooky with with the 3-D models as well.
Always good to see Batesee upload after an 8 hour road trip! I remember when I played this and I got outsmarted by specimen 9 in the secret bad end.

It's interesting to see the enemies in the 3d because when I played it they behaved differently. Absolutely love the way you got the good ending on your Frist try . Unlike me🤣

Honestly the 2d is kinda naff so I wouldn't bother in relation to the monsters. Everything else is good there's no object permanence , like the slimly doll doesn't hang around.

It's quite nice seeing this sort of revelation to spooky's story considering that the whole time she didn't really have much lore pertaining to who she was till this thing, and it's also nice you getting to revisit the game, really brings me back to the almost olden vids you did of the main game. I equally hate saying that as start sounding like the the funny boomer man going "back in good ol' days" bleh. not even that old yet oofs.
You touching the active furnace reminds me of all the times you ran head first into a live Tesla Gate, golden.
(Also you bolting away from the clown was funny as hell, so happy you're back)

I’m remember the first time I saw the 3d version of the husk enemy, I laughed so hard when I say it. I play the 2d version of this dlc and the husk in that looks at least scary.

For those who don't know Spooky used to be little girl who was a father to a war veteran. She died because of him having a drunken PTSD episode and he accidentally shot her in his stupor.

I get what this means, It means that spooky instead of being forced into a doll, was instead chained to the mansion giving her incredible over the mansion its self, allowing her to move rooms with ease. Brings me back to when you saw the layout of the mansion it was all moving parts.

EDIT: And yeah, the story is kinda like that... As a child, Spooky always wanted to spook other people but, according to her father, she was just too "cute" to spook anyone. He was a war veteran (probably Vietnam) who suffered from PTSD and, in Halloween's eve, Spooky decided scared him with a fire cracker, to convince him that she could scare people, making a gunshot sound and triggering a flashback situation on him which led him to shoot and kill Spooky. (He soon planted the gun in a homeless man to avoid prison) Out of grief and regret, he founded GL Labs to summon her soul and ask for her forgiveness and maybe even try to revive her. Monica, Spooky's mother, died soon after the founding of GL Labs.
After that, the timeline gets a bit woozy... But my guess is Spooky's father probably succeeded in binding her soul to the world of the living but at the cost of trapping her inside the mansion's walls, creating the Hellgate and maybe even trapping his own soul inside the doll you use in the Dollhouse. After that, Spooky took control of GL Labs in order to further summon more demons and ghosts from the Hellgate in order to realize her dream of being a... well, spooker. And also to convince everyone that she and other ghosts aren't cute ._.

if/when you dip into scp games again, i think it'd be interesting for you to check out SCP-087-B extended edition! its a more stable and fleshed out version of the base game, and i think youd get a kick out of it

This is a melancholic moment. Many theories, many mysteries... just left behind. Not to mention that with this, the whole game has ended, leaving the players with a story that concluded in a sad way.
[SPOILERS UNDERNEATH, DO NOT READ UNLESS YOU WATCH THE VIDEO FIRST]
Knowing that spooky was shot and killed accidentally is a big tragedy, not to mention that when you finish the game (in the good ending) you set everyone free and destroy the mansion. There is no more Spooky's House of Jumpscares, or rather Spooky's Jumpscare Mansion. Spooky moved on to the afterlife with her parents, many souls moved on and escaped from the mansion. You? You are left with many questions and if you're a player like me, you are left with the sharp knowledge that everything is over. The game will never be same again for you.
You should definitely try Lost In Vivo. It's from the same creator as Spooky's, a bit more mature in tone but still very spoopy and retro-looking

Here’s the plot of the dollhouse, Spooky’s dad is the director of GL Labs and was also a solider during ww1, because of which he has PTSD. Spooky wanted to come off as scary during Halloween but most people found her cute, so she tried to scare her dad with fake blood and firecrackers, which would then set him off into an episode and accidentally shoot spooky, killing her. Guilty for what happened, the dad experimented with the dead to bring spooky back as a ghost to simply find closure, but this would lead to most of the game’s horrors. The mom takes her life out of grief and the dad dies somehow after bringing spooky back.

Batesee, I really wanna see some more SCPCB content, You should do the SCP:CB Ultimate Edition, It's got so many new events, items, rooms, and it adds another MTF squad to avoid along with NTF/E11, It would rack in a lot of the old SCP Viewers, Battle forge already did tons of videos on it, and It would be cool to see you do some to!

I think the reason why clowns are creepy to many people is because of the uncanny valley effect.
You know that a clown is a human but the distorted form is hitting that "It´s not right! Stay away from it!" in our monkeybrain.

Idk about dollhouse dlc but u can hit the puppet making him unable to attack until the next room. Also are you gunna do endless mode? It’s got a few more creatures in there on top of everything from the main,hospital,dollhouse. Including an evolved version of specimen 4. Have fun with that one ^^
