35:48 You actually spawn with Red NightVision so no need to “squint like a bug” I think default equip button is N but just look at the settings. Also I was also majorly disappointed that the AI companions at the start get destroyed in the first couple of minutes as then it turned, for me at least, into Scp containment breach with extra shooty shooty but, it is free so no harm really. Glad your back :)

I think that's a fair assessment. It's still ye olde game with ye newe guns... I just know that, because development is in such baby stages, we're very likely to see our soldiers again in newer updates. I mean how cool would it be if we had to pull them out of the Pocket Dimension!?

@@TheBatesee Nah, I don't think anyone but the player has escaped the pocket dimension.. so we might as well find their bodies and wherever they ended up
I've spawned the ai ntf and tested their ai and they'll probably return, anything the player can kill ntf kill, they attack 939 only if they attack you, and they search around the area to search for more enemies after they kill someone, and 173 can kill them
Thats only in the beginning section of the game and they suck too, I personally think they actually make it darker.
How are you supposed to run from the major SCP's without your squad getting in the way?
A crowbar, a D-Class survivor of a horrible event orchestrated by outside forces running around collecting things and potentially causing havoc, an NTF Operative trying to clean things up and a man who can disappear and reappear at will.
Might not be exactly the same, but this mod gives me heavy Half-Life: Opposing Forces vibes and I'm okay with that.
Oh, yeah, I've been hearing people comparing this game to Opposing Forces or that one other Half-Life Mod.

Contaiment breach has the exactly same storyline as half-life, just in a different setting and other gameplay mechanics. This is literally the same thing but with this game "copying" opposing force

I'm still friends with the guy who created this mod. Ever since I first added him back when the mod was initially made, we've been friends since. He's extremely dedicated, and works on the game Every single day, as well as working on an original game project of his at the same time, too. Hes an Incredibly talented, and dedicated dude. ❤

Hopefully in a future update you get to reunite with your squad mates and play as NTF do in normal containment breach.
Absolutely love the reference at 5:24! As someone who is both an SCP fanatic, and a Valve fanatic, I instantly respect someone who quotes the Portal 1 curiosity core. It makes me so happy when anyone references my favourite games like that. And if you ever have nothing else to play for a video, know that at least one fan of yours will be ecstatic to have you play anything like Portal, Half-Life 2, or anything else running in the Source Engine.

I love this mods approach to cutscenes and to some extent, a tutorial. Rather than locking you into a scripted environment where you have no real control, the mod allows you to go at your own pace, starting you off in a safe environment to work things out and figure out what does what. It's very Half-Life and I dig it.
Sleeping can wait, this vid’s no.1 priority.
This game gives me nostalgia I didn't know I had, my time on the team that worked on the thing was brief and my contributions minimal, but seeing you check up on the work they did makes me greatful to have been a minor part of this games history.
God I love banter in games like this, makes me anxious for a finished version. It’s kinda crazy that after so long there’s still people dedicated to modding this game.

I actually played this, and I left a sizeable review about how I felt about it. It needs a few updates but it's definitely fun!

Batesee, I gotta say. When I was watching your cry of fear Series as the episodes came out every 2 to 3 weeks or so, it would be the highlight of my month. Then, you left. And I was devastated. Then, last month, I saw the first upload from you since I was 17. I'm 21 now and get just as excited as I was when a new video came out 3 years ago.

I've been in the Canadian Army 5 years and soldiers banter is EXACTLY like Bad Company. Shooting the shit in a connection of trenches one night hooked up via field phone we started playing would you rather down the line at like 2am. It's like a grown up slumber party.

mods like this are brilliant I always wanted to see what kind of trouble the ntf got into when they came across crazy scp's i also notice that if you look in the water after escaping 106's pocket dimension your helmet is left in the water smashed by the pipe you hit your head on
