This channel really just makes me want to replay through all of Destiny 1 especially if I can convince my friends too. I couldn't believe the stuff I managed to get in D1 such as Burning Eye Adept with explosive payload. It is a crime that buying a physical copy for destiny 1 is not gonna work and that you need to spend £50 for Destiny 1 complete edition.
Also one thing that Destiny does far better than Destiny 2 is just the cool ass name for weapons and ofc the huge amount of them cause every expansion actually refreshed the loot pool for vanguard, crucible etc.
Zombie Apocalpyse. The Devil you know the Devil you dont. Party crasher (cool as fuck design for a shotgun) / Tlaloc / But not forgotten / Teacup tempest etc etc
I mean, as a guy who also played and loved D1 i think D2 still makes a good job naming weapons
Revision Zero, Conditional Finality or Quicksilver Storm are some cool ass names too

I remember checking every day waiting for Lost to light to appear as the daily heroic. The Spindle was such a legendary gun and nothing in D2 has been able to compare to Taken King / Rise of Iron D1. Simpler times man.

This mission dropped one of the best looking ships ever in Destiny. When I finally got it I put it on and never took it off to this day.
Man I miss destiny 1 so much, it felt so much simpler and everything you did felt like it had a meaning rather than just a boring pinnacle grind. Every gun felt special and different as the pool wasn’t saturated with reskins like D2.
I miss it so much, D2 is just not as good in my opinion

@@karlinschlafman7549 the problem is the gaming industry as a whole, it found out it can milk everyone for there money by putting out mediocre products hence why bungie turned that way and many other developers also streamers and the competitive scene really ruined everything as a whole
d2 is the better game. but, there is a simple, novel charm to d1 that d2 has lost.
Bungie basically saying they can’t do secret missions like this anymore is a massive disappointment.
But who knows, maybe some secret will be added to one of the Neomuna weekly story missions, but I doubt it.

Destiny 1 feels like a whole different universe at this point.
It pretty much is. Bungie has retconned or rewritten most of the lore from D1 and made it worse in my personal opinion. And the game has absolutely jumped the shark compared to the thematic and immersive elements of D1.
I remember spamming this 1st day & helping all of our clan get the spindle, it dropped at 310 then they changed it to 290, I absolutely love the d1 content, thank you for the videos
The thing I miss most about D1 is being able to actually damage blights with grenades

Damm. This takes me back. My fireteam would use spindle to take out the Warpriest in King’s Fall. Using the spindle was so satisfying in boss fights.
Props on soloing it. This mission was impossible for me when I started. Now, after 2000 hours of Destiny 1 and 2, It was nowhere near as difficult as I remember. The tension still remains with me though 😂

This brought back so much nostalgia. My team got it with only 1 second left. No joke. One of the hardest missions of all time easily
funny watching this with d2 power creep. if you had d2 loadouts in this mission. it would be so ez that it were boring.
I still remember doing this, grouped up with random guys but we had some nice teamwork and completed it! Good times
I think me and my friends must have tried about 4 times before we finally got it. When it was time for our 4th mates turn to try get it, none of us wanted to run it again 😂😂😂. Myself and one of his random psn friends eventually ended up running it so he got it in end.
Hearing Darkblade theme in the background gives me chills. It was fitting for this incredible adrenaline rush.
I'm glad I got the Vienna Singer and Black Spindle in my very first completion of it. Never went back.

man i know back then we struggled so much but then when we got it it was the best feeling and one of the best snipers we cleared every raid with that bad boy... love the good old days man nowadays exotic are just for show most of them arent useful in the slightest,,,
Never went for this part I only had it when it was the hammer. D1 was grindy but challenging. Now that I think of it we may done this.
I remember farming that mission for the ship. I swear it was over 20+ times before I got it. Good times!

I remember thinking back then how people struggled with this since I solo'd it first try, but the i remembered not everyone was a dedicated raid lead with the best guns and experience...so my fondest memories of this dlc was helping people through this, cause no one deserved to be left behind my was motto

I boot up my old Xbox one and been playing D1 again. Just not use to the controller yet. But miss when things were simpler with less ability spam.

I carried alot of friends thru this years ago. When me and my first team did this we thought the game bugged and we got into a new strikd early or something then we looked in twitch and other sites and figured out it was for ghe spindle. Man what a time. I miss being 21 with nothing but time lol

God what a beautiful game, man. The art direction had so much charm and clearly had a lot of love put into it, a shame that the same philosophy didn't really carry over into Destiny 2.

I used to do carries for the Black Spindle and for the life of me... Outside of the dark drinker I cannot remember my loadout but I would use Titan with Weapons bubble.
I done this on PS3 last year... The inventory load times killed me. 🤣... On that note. I miss the DESTINY 1 exotic swords.
This mission was a pain in the ass to do 😂 took me hours to even finish it when it was first added

I still haven't been able to get black spindle, I've come up short so many times. And it doesn't help that I cannot get Darkdrinker or any of the swords, how can I get 20 PvP kills with a sword when the lobies are empty, it's a heavy weapon, and I just suck at PvP?
I thought it had nothing to do with speed. It had to do with staying alive and not dying. Meaning if anyone dyed once it would close.

One of the perks is Void exclusive. The lifesteal on any melee, but the Increase armor from 210 to 230 is actually insane for survivability and worth using on sunsinger as well

I feel like the biggest reason why people struggled with the last room is because they thought killing the boss quickly is how you do it when it's smarter to take it slow and kill the blights as they spawn since they are tied to the bosses health. If you rush your gonna have all the blights at once and the whole rooms going to be a shitshow.
Those taken snipers were by far the most annoying and hardest
