It limits the TNT. It make TNT less consistent. At how much they want to limit, because different computer require different number. This would break the game. His solution is to completely erase TNT before it explodes, so it doesn’t do anything. What’s the point of igniting 10k TNT blocks if most of them won’t explode?
@@Someoneyes-y7l that’s not what it looks like. In the superflat world, the explosion chain isn’t going in all directions. Only the TNT in the coordinates that update first are exploding, because by the time the game checks the rest it has already reached the limit.

item physics (the thing where when you drop items it actually falls on the floor realistically) is actually a pretty common mod that can be found in clients
2:45 Back in the day, when Minecraft was kind of new, someone made a mod that let you explode ANY amount of TNT "without" lag.... kind of, but not really. The trick was that it let Minecraft use whatever amount of time it needed to calculate the next frame, then it took like a screenshot, and waited for the next frame, screenshot & repeat. Then at the end the program assembled all the images to a video, and THAT video replayed the explosion without any lag. Quite impressive, I think this was made BEFORE TNT explosions got optimized. Unfortunately I don't know the name of the mod, if anyone knows, please tell me.
Does that zero lag TNT change have any cons? If not you could push for mojang to change it into the vanilla game as they have tried fixing tnt a few times in the past
TNT's in large blocks like these detonate in chain reaction. In vanilla, every explosion causes more TNT's to explode, which causes the lag and potential crash. I believe that his change is that per tick, only a cerntain number of TNT's can explode (f.e. 50), so when the chain reaction overflows this number (more than 50 TNT's should explode next tick), only 50 of those TNT will actually explode and the rest of TNT's will "Wait their turn" even though they should be exploded by now. So basically it will cause that TNT's won't explode precisely when they "should". This will of course happen only in cases where ridiculous amount of TNT's will be placed in chain reaction, so for normal gameplay, I believe there are almost zero cons, unless you have it on some populated server, where every person likes to blow up TNT all the time. Also, it will cause for big amounts of TNT's to blow up for longer time as more ticks will happen from the beginning to the end of the explosion. So explosions won't be bigger per say, but longer.
No there is a con, when he says it limits the number of tnts he means that it does that by deleting TNTs until the number of tnts are below the limit so the con is that it DELETES some of the tnts
@@8crafter i don't think it deletes the TNT. Just like the user above said.
