I think people get it wrong, I think they might call it briefcase handle cause of the orientation. That's more of a quality of life thing. If you throw it on luggage through the back pass through, that handle just let's you grab it off the luggage easier or if it is picked up in an awkward orientation. They don't think you'll use it as a briefcase, it's is 20cents of fabric for quality of life if you need. Can also hang something off of it if need be.
I agree it's good for those things but in the demo it was used as a briefcase mode for business men to walk into the office and look more professional lol the original demo shows it as that only reason I talked about it in that way
I had this back pack for a couple years. It’s nice BUT the zippers on it are trash. Whenever it’s full, it’s very hard to open & close. Really nicely organized bag made of quality materials.
Does it slide down into Frontier and Spirit personal item sizer? At published height of 18.5 it is 0.5 too tall but I am not sure if that is with the handle.

This model does not expand from 20 to 30 liters like you say in the video, it expands to 24 liters. This is the smaller version.
I think he bought the backpack version and not the travel bag version.

This is a common problem with water sealed zippers. I haven't had to much trouble with it but for sure see what your saying.
