I own the venture 6L, 10L and lite 7L. The venture 6L seemingly fits more than the lite 7L. and I doubt any are as big as their names suggest. I am tempted to get the 2.5L, sometimes all you need is a phone, camera, battery bank, and room for your keys and wallet. but the 6L/7L is nice for drink, umbrella, etc. Lite is good for packing for travel, but the 6L is better in every other way besides weight and thinness. I like Alpaka and Aer for tech carry, since they have dedicated sleeves unlike the more open area of the Bellroys. Aer has the best big slings for laptop carry (own the travel sling 2). Alpaka I love their small tech cases (I've owned the admin, tech mini, and metro sling) that can be strapped for sling use, but those detachable straps just aren't as good as sewn on ones as far as keeping the bag laying against the body flush unless you tighten it all up.
I own the TomToc 10L and it is the perfect 2nd bag paired with my AER Travel Pack 3. The TomToc holds my Ipad Air., bulky headphones, battery pack, chargers, etc. A great option for your personal item that needs to fit under the airplane seat.
The tomtoc 11L is the one bag that can do it all. I put my Lenovo 14'' laptop in there, plus headphones, mouse and some accessories and it handles it so well
Great video. It would be more helpful if you modeled them filled at capacity. Nobody is getting a large sling to walk around with it empty/half-empty, so I still have no idea what they would look like when worn in real life circumstances.
Appreciate the feedback my friend! I hear your point and I’ll take it in. The reason I don’t overpack on body is I have also gotten people saying I overpack in the actual capacity demonstration. So I decided to leave it as is for the on body so everyone can just get a vibe for aesthetic and not have it be hindered by what’s inside- as everyone carry’s differently. I totally hear you though and again, truly appreciate the constructive criticism.
Tom Too looks great but the flopping straps would make me want to drive a spike through my head. Would have to go Bellroy, but I do get the versatility angle. Great review.
Yes it will fit lots of items however, it will look ugly BULKY . Slings is only for very minimalist things we like to bring. If you like to put iPad etc …… get the messenger bag , small or medium size Well, that’s only my personal opinion based on my own Few purchase’s & different brands These are few basics stuff I pack … iPhone max pro, 2 prescription glasses., iPad , sanitizer, eye drops, lip balm, earbuds , hand lotion ( tiny container ) , wipes, keys, chargers(2) power B, pens. This is the reason I switch back & forth between sling & messenger small. I love of course the sling. Cheers 👍❤️😜
@@Joshua88Graham also josh if you ever get around to it.. Wandrd D1 fanny pack has a V2, there's literally only a couple of people reviewing the V2. bought one for my brother 2 years ago. great 2L sling with specs you might find interesting that nobody does. I currently carry the Vanquest dendrite large 4 liter. but if Wandrd ever went xpac with that D1, I'd get it in a heartbeat.
Great video! I love the Bellroy 2.5 for traveling since it has a larger feel, and I use the AER city sling 2 for my daily EDC! - question: I noticed your watch in the video and love it!! Do you know what size dial it is? I’m assuming 35mm or 41mm? Thanks! 😊
Hey there Ashely! Thanks for your comment and for sharing 🙌🏼 Always very much appreciated. The watch is a 41 mm (: Are you looking to get one as well ?
This is my cross body sling EDC story I first bought the Alpaca Mini Tech Bag - Did not find the "perfect" place to stand up my iPhone Pro upright & my iPad mini fit a little to snug I returned it & got the Tech Bag (mid size). I have been using it for 3 months while traveling in my Van Conversion in the Southwest. Now I have the "right" place for the most used stuff ( phone - wallet - keys - AirPods - lip balm). Every other EDC (and there is a sh*t ton that actually fits) They all found their place -- eventually! Having a pen in the loop impedes using the pockets below it - so I don't use it to hold my pen or anything for that matter. You get used to reaching for the side grab handle or at times just man handling it by the top. I exclusively carry it a sling bag (on hikes, shoping & bicycle rides) and have no interest in the accessory strap to stablize it. Since you access the bag as a sling while you are wearing it from the back a Pro Tip would be to always access the bag from the back - that way with muscle & brain memory it facilities locating what's in the bag - For me "often' without having to even look - For Real Son... The ability to stand it up is so nice as the mini did not stand up on its own & that was a PITA. So - daily use for 3 months I am very happy with the bag. The bigger one would only oblige me to add more stuff in it. - so I'll stick with this ohe. BTW fully loaded the bag weighs 5 lbs 9 oz & appears to manage it just fine!!! For a larger cross sling bag I converted my 20 yo North Face bum bsg to a sling bag - Works brilliantly
I laugh to myself while thinking I will carry anything even if it looks like a purse but I draw the line on velcro. You know how childish it comes across to be standing next to someone when opening your bag and everyone arounds you hear, "shhhhkkrrkkkt"
Straight to the point and none of those nonsense intros, constant nagging to subscribe …You deserve my likes and subscribe!
There should be a RUclips algorithm preference towards this format. Love it.

That actually looks like the TomToc 7L. The 10L has bottom tripod straps and a top handle

Josh to solve bulky water containers.. look into the memo botls.. they have several sizes avail👌
They actually look really great! Thanks for the recommendation

Great review! Personally, I use the 2.5 Bellroy as my daily carry.
But Alpaka needs to come clean. That beast is not a sling; it's a messenger!😊

Great presentations. I agree. Tomtoc explorer for me is the best ( any size ) cheers 🙏👍😜❤️🇨🇦
I think the Tomtoc you presented is 7L not 10L.
Agree! as I have the 7L one 😊
Any thoughts on the Harber london slingbag
What’s the smallest thing you recommend that can fit an iPad mini comfortably?
Alpaka Element Tech Case
Nice watch ❤

What passport folio was that in orange?
What is the best sling for iPad Air 10.9?

looking for crossbody bag also has waist trap to add security. (going to Ecuador)
No timbuk2?
Does the alpaka allow for a large laptop? I’m looking at the aer travel because it can take a 15” laptop.
Sadly I think a 15 inch laptop would be too large :/
I have the alpaka- it fits my 15” laptop and my 12.9” ipad pro ( at the same time- properly). It’s the only bag that handles both very well
I've noticed that a lot of sling bag reviewers have a Nintendo Switch and carry it around in their bags.
Would this fit my S9 ultra 14.9?
I think 13 inch would be the max. Sadly 15 is laptop territory which I think will be a little too big for these
A roundup of small slings, 5L & under would be awesome. Any chance for a female guest model? It's a little hard to gauge from seeing a male.
Can you sell wholesale?
Iy makes me laugh that bags are basically coming back to the size and shape of the sling single shoulder teardrop bag from the nineties.
full size bottle capacity?
Nice, let’s hope it’s for travel …if not then hipster heaven lol
Couldn’t concentrate on the bags. Too distracted by that watch. Datejust?

Appreciate it brother! Saved up for one for years
What happened to men's clothing,, having pockets 😮😢?!
