Hope you enjoy this performance of Scriabin's ecstatic and mystic masterwork: the 5th Sonata.
Synesthesia is the phenomenon of seeing color when you hear music. My performances are inspired by great pianists such as Vladimir Horowitz and Sviatoslav Richter. The LED visualizer is inspired by RUclipsrs such as Rousseau, Kassia, and Traum Piano. New reactive visualizer videos weekly!

dude literally COMPRESSES his hands to play an octave while we out here breaking tendons trying to reach it.
Probably opens 12 or 13 notes
Octaves are MAD easy for me nowadays even though my hand span is only about 8.5😭 it’s a matter of developing finger independence and flexibility.
Seriously tho. Being the first person in the world to play this titanic piano sonata in the synesthesia format, offering an awesome recording of the piece, and having it as your first upload is such an extraordinary achievement. Congratulations with the result of all the hard work you must have put in this.
Thank you!
yes
This dude's hands look like liszt, blessed hands for the piano my friend. Long fingers and all.
My dear friend, you have made history in the music world with this performance in particular, and from my part, I congratulate you; can't stop imagining Horowitz smiling if he were still present.
1:48 the color change with that modulation is such a nice touch
The part at 11:00 is just magical. The composer is truly a legend!!!
Wdyfm? This composer was on crack cocaine when he composed this. Sounds AI generated. Most of this piece doesn't make a single sense. it's the only composer I wouldn't give a fuck if he was never born. Ear bleed is what this shit is
7:45 that was interesting choice of dynamics ngl when I usually play that part I pedal it fully
ikr and it sounds beautiful too
@@DemirSezer yee it sounds really cool
i love the staccato there, so original and it fits wellll
I wish i could listen from 2:02 - 2:52 all day on repeat. My favorite part
That's my favorite part as well.... That, and 6:29 - 7:55.
@@synestheticpiano same
@@synestheticpiano This piano voice plugin sounds similar to Rousseau's one. I am also a new youtuber. Could you pleeeease tell me what the vst plugin is??? Please I will sub
@@synestheticpiano I did sub please tell me what the vst sound you used is pleeeease.... 🥺 🥺 🥺 🥺

2:32 it's so lovely. Great recording.
You can be proud for having one of the best interpretation of this masterpiece I have ever encountered, flowy touches
It’s clearly not one of the best interpretations. Very good playing, but nowhere near that of the very best.

@@kf8512 give me some or I will consider it your subjectivity
@@kf8512 give me one example and I will change my mind
@@1wc Trifonov is one example. The problem with this persons playing is that it is too literal. It does not capture the ecstatic, otherworldly nature of this piece.
Immediately subbed. Rare to see a synthesia channel with such a high quality interpretation. Fantastic work!
Thank you!
Same
If you call this a high quality intepertation then you should have serious concerns on your standards, especially as a Mahler fan

You can tell it's telling a story by looking at the colors. Cool
This is my favorite piano piece.
I love the choice of a slower tempo to emphasize all the colours and textures of this beautiful piece. Great job!
This piece sounds like pure euphoria written onto sheet music. Thank you Synesthetic for this performance!
No problem!
ironic because scriabin believed this to be a very dark piece to the point where he believed this piece summons demons. He ended up writing the 6th sonata to be a sort of exorcist for this sonata. Scriabin refused to even play this one, and there are accounts him trailing off, zoning out, and going pale while playing this piece hahah. Wild!
@@usurpationofmusic4596I believe he considered the 6th sonata to be dark and refused to play it, not the fifth, and wrote the 7th sonata as an exorcism (hence its name “white mass”)
Such an amazing visual representation of the piece, I really enjoy your colour changes in the music, and the visual reflection of those colour changes is stunning as well. Thank you for recording this behemoth piano work, your playing is beautiful.
Such a clear and well-controlled performance of this fiendishly difficult, wildly colourful masterpiece!
Thank you!
such a clear v....a.....gina of your 6 yo momi
Epic!
I can't wait for the next upload
One of the most clear interpretations out there. Wonderful!
Thanks!
I really like what you did with the colours. Very skrjabinesque.
7:22 GREATNESS
Yes
This is super impressive and all the other comments basically gives all the praise I'd have to give. But one thing I've not seen many people mention are the colours of the synthesis - I listened to the piece once before following the score and the colours I'd associated with each section pretty much exactly match with the colours used in each section here. Idk if this was just a cool coincidence or if Scriabin actually intended for this with his synesthesia but it was super cool to see!
absolute chad move playing sonata 5 as your first video. u legend
Enormous hand damn
7:21 is just so underrated
this is actually insane! amazing playing
Amazing! I was just thinking there should be more Scriabin synthesia videos, then you uploaded this gem!
There's a lot more to come!
I don't often subscribe to these sorts of channels, but it's really great to not only see a fantastic performance, but also that your channel is filled with slightly more obscure pieces than the usual. Appreciate it!
This is absolutely phenomenal, actually i am working on composing stuff, scriabin, liszt, chopin and interpretations like yours are just the stuff i need. The feeling is there, it truly is inspiring to me, thank you so much! :)
Thank you! 🙏
Love the clarity of your playing, amazingly performed
Thanks!
This is played very differently from other interpretations (in a good way), it sounds so playful and light. I also can't just find a video from 3 days ago of someone with 40 subs playing fkng scriabin 5 and not sub
I love how you play the soft parts, sounds realy ethereal
fuckkk sooo awesome!!! Did not expect this in synthesia form any time soon
Wow, first post and already attacking this giant of a sonata, bravo! Instantly subbed
At some moments synaesthetic connection between colors and music make me feel something absolutely beautiful and hardly describable, thank you for this epic work!
Un chef d'œuvre qui m'a permis d'espérer dans la vie...
Sonata 5 on synthesia wow that’s incredible
It's a very enjoyable performance! Well done!
Nobody has mentioned the amazing color change at 7:45 yet(in the playing not in the visuals). It's alot different from the other recordings I've heard.
Fantastic content. Subscribed. A unique, nuanced interpretation. One that embraces both ecstasy and languor in ways I haven't heard before. Thank you for this.
Please keep uploading new pieces! Looking forward to it! ❤
Beautiful work
Ecstasy and transcendence
Such a good recording and performance. I keep coming back to this. Thank you :D
I appreciate this recording, it sounds like you preserved the integrity of the composition.
Scriabin's 5.sonata is so fucking incredible
mark my words, this channel will blow up in days
My god bro, I discovered this channel today, and I'm already in love with it, I subscribed directly. The quality of your channel is as good as Rousseau's, you are a worthy opponent! Congratulations on the amazing performance, thank you for giving us such a great song! ❤️

yeah im sharing this everywhere

Je trouve dans cette interprétation une grande clarté thématique et tonale, tout semble évidemment, et c'est un effet difficile à obtenir chez Scriabin. Bravo !!
Loved it 🙌
absolutely amazing! you’re incredibly underrated. new sub btw, i can’t believe you only have 55 subs. you deserve way more. also remember me when you’re famous one day lmao
Agree
Great work! No player showcasing their interpretations with visuals has played this yet! Hopefully they do later though...
I am amazed by your performance here- also, your hand span is incredible, like wowwww I’m in awe
Thank you!
2:30 So beautiful
Incredible
great performance
this video made me fall in love with this piece, where previously i hadn't thought much of it. it's also made me hopeful for being able to play it (even though some parts make me want to tear my hair out).
also, i'm not sure if you like ravel, but if you do i would absolutely love to see you play le gibet from gaspard de la nuit, because you certainly have the handspan to play all those nightmare chords with zero spreading.
Insanely good.
beautiful sound
wow great interpretation, I was wondering if there'd ever be someone brave enough to upload a live visualizer of this piece; I think yours is the first
Nice, very clear, like water. Greetings from Uruguay
Richter interpretation is incredible
Thanks!
Wow I just love the way you convey the sentiment of this piece. Kudos to all the work you put in to master this 🤙
Awesome. Thanks you for this beautiful rendering.
What I find very interesting is that in this sonata there are "memories" of sonata No. 4 - at 0:21 the first movement and at 2:02 the second
absolutely fantastic performance !!
despite the difficulty , it was performed really well
Feel like you should have gone ham on this piece, you gave it such a "romantic" treatment
Then again, this is a very technically challenging piece, so the fact that all the different melodies and subjects are all so well and clearly outlined is quite remarkable; I just think that for this piece, it may have been worth it to sacrifice some of that clarity for a bit more energy. Then again, this is understandable given the nature of this kind of video where you can't really afford wrong notes.
Anyway, impressive stuff! Hope I can play this at some point (which is certainly somewhat far from me for now).
This is beautiful, thank you. Much prefer the dark and delicate eerieness of this than the black mass sonata.
2:40 2:41 lovely ❤
Omg pls upload soon
This was great, many thanks!
Very impressive
Awesome! Bravo 👏🏼
your playing is fenomenal
great choice of tempo. :)
Ahhh, you beat me to uploading this piece! I was going to do it around the end of November and procrastinated too much lol. Also your fingers are incredibly skinny.
Very nice!!
Even tho i prefer richter version this one is awesome aswell so i subbed pls keep making more videos because your playing is amazing.
Amazing
Epic
awesome content!
Thanks!
Amazing interpretation and performance! Scriabin was such a special composer. Fantasy in B minor is one of my favourites from him and it’d be great if you perform it in the future :) P.s. your handspan looks bigger than rachmaninoffs at 13:00 😂
i came three times just from listening to this !!!
Fire
thanks!
I just realized how absolutely massive your hands are ._.
Bro IS Rachmaninoff
2:00 - 2:30 from this moment I feel like it's soundtrack for Call me by your name

Impeccable! Will you ever play the ninth or sixth sonata? Or maybe Maritime by Jean Cras?
Maybe in the future :)
Beautiful performance! I noticed your hands are quite big xd, hope you don't mind telling me your reach on the piano. Other than that, i wish you the best on your journey on youtube.

Was the channel name chosen because of Scriabin?
would it be possible if you could make a spotify of your own? I really love your interpretation of scriabins piano sonata no.5 and I will add it to my playlist if you will. Thank you if you do, God bless!
