      @@someguy2135 Why imitate meat instead of creating something new? Are vegans craving meat so bad they have to name such products after animals and to also imitate its flavor. I find that ridiculous, theyre against the killing of animal but still want to eat their meat.

      @@damianbiue7728 Vegans generally grow up eating meat. During that time, people tend to develop a taste for it. Changing to a vegan diet seldom is due to the taste of meat. It is due to ethical or health reasons. I personally eat faux meat about once or twice a week. Most of my diet is from whole plant foods.

      Tyrell Frye hahaha still figuring it out. Not great at cooking so I’ve been sticking to simple stuff. It’s not perfect but I’ve tracked my food and I’m getting nutrients just fine.
      Breakfast: cereal/oatmeal/smoothies/bagels
      Lunch: PB&J with fruit (when I’m at work/school) or whatever I get eating out
      Dinner: simple night would be some combination of Sweet potato, quinoa or rice, beans, steamed veggies, etc.

      Śūnyatā Eight He uses the Socratic method of questioning leading the person naturally to their own conclusion that there is simply NO moral justification for consuming animal products. People will duck and dive but they cannot escape the inevitable truth, that they are not living according to their own morals. I think it’s a much better way in the end to try to get people to see it for themselves rather than try to ram it down their throats. That said, Ed is still amazing the way he lets them talk without butting in to put them right when they make statements like “it’s the circle of life” and other similar nonsense. Keep up the great work Ed.

    The guy saying the Bible says animals were here for us to eat, not true entirely. It was a post flood issue until vegetation re-grew. A plant diet was the original diet created for man, animals were created for friendship and to be enjoyed as companions. Self has everything to do with the issues at the beginning of time all the way to today, self is the bottom line of every problem! Including animal cruelty and exploitation.

    • @mochibam
      @mochibam 6 лет назад

      Exactly! The Bible says that God gave Adam and Eve vegetation for them to eat. It was only after Noah that they were allowed to eat animals. I’ve always thought of that too, that there wasn’t any vegetation for them to eat. Also, meat was a good calorie source for a lot of the ancient civilizations there afterwards since there was often famine and many of them were herders. Animals were also used for sacrifice as atonement for sins, because the price for sin was a life and God also saw the animals life as valuable. Animal sacrifices stopped after Jesus’ sacrifice. However, God’s original purpose for mankind was to eat plants and take care of the animals - not eat them!

      F.I.S.H. Paragraph 35. Food in the mode of purity promotes good physical and mental health. Such foods include (above all) fruits, vegetables, nuts, pulses, grains, roots, stumps (e.g. pineapple), flowers (e.g. cauliflower), seeds, herbs and of course purified water (or milk in the case of infants). Milk is intended solely for consumption by infants of the same species. Cow’s milk is for baby cows, not adult humans. The logic is overwhelming.
      Foods in the mode of passion promote indigestion and overly-excite the mind. Such foods are basically the same as above but with excessive amounts of oil, spices, salt and/or other condiments added. Most drugs such as caffeine, alcohol, black tea and narcotics (though hardly food) fall into this category.
      Food in the mode of darkness cannot rightly be called food at all. Such offal is putrid, decayed, overcooked or the remnants of another’s meal. Unnecessarily killing and/or consuming animals is an abominable action. It is not natural for humans to put dead animals like sheep, cows, chicken and fish inside their mouths. Sheep and cows are food for carnivorous animals such as lions, tigers and wolves and fish is food for marine and semi-aquatic species. Do humans live in the ocean? Of course not! Then why is it necessary for us to go into the water to find our food? Is that sensible? Not at all.
      To read the remaining thirty-nine paragraphs of “A Final Instruction Sheet for Humanity”, which the God of all gods has graciously given to His Angel on Earth, email: prophet4god@icloud.com
      with the acronym “FISH” in the subject field.

    Going to Venice was a great idea, the people you were able to talk with were so chill. The video had a sick ass vibe cuz they understood and didn’t get defensive when you asked them difficult questions that made them think about their own beliefs and ideas. I live here in LA and I wish I could have met you while you were here. Thanks for all you do, and for helping me help others on their journey to a vegan lifestyle. Do you think it's ok to have dogs. Taking them out of their instinctual habitat, giving them separation anxiety, no natural wolf pack, and a bad diet. Do we have a right to cause this suffering to dogs. And do we have the right to own an animal?

    • @Chris-V2011
      @Chris-V2011 6 лет назад

      We do not "own" a domestic animal. We are responsible for the fact that thanks to our domestication for profit, they will never be able to survive in the wild. So, i think it's every person's duty even more so, a vegan to take care of whoever he/she can and give one, or more "pets" a happy, comfortable life as close as possible to what that particular pet needs. Love, food, shelter, companionship of his/her own species, protection and care. I used to be a horse rider, when i became vegan, i sold all my things, my mare is in a 4hct pasture with 2 mates, no demand from me at all, she is free to go as she pleases, they have open boxes, hay in winter and grass in summer, she lives as close to nature as a horse that has never known anything but domestication can. I'm also the lucky guardian of 2 greyhounds rescued from Spain. That's the best i can do, if i could do more, i would.Those animals depend totally on us, they were all bred to be used as a tool for human pleasure,it's only fair we take care of them.
