    James thank you for taking us through a workout from start to finish. Not just showing us how to do 7 exercises in 3 minutes. I will be using this video as my strength workout and as an older runner I need it. Brilliant. 😀👍

    My poison is triathlon. I do 1 x session HIIT on the bike and immediately after HIITs running and 1 x race pace session at the speed I need to be doing to compete (at the moment I can't keep it going for the full distance, but certainly getting there) a week. 3 x weight (including core, swim specific muscles and keeping my heart rate low) days and 1 x bottom of zone 2 bike and run. 1 x Electro Muscular Stimulation training session. Once I can do the distance at the speed I need to be at, I will focus on the swim which requires a lot of technique, not just brute force. My hardest exercise is the Norwegian hamstring curl, all the way through 45 degrees down and up, and no hands. I follow the 20/80 rule. Only 20% of the time in the week my heart is in the red. The other days are 'preparation'. Super important to keep the heart low on the zone 2 days, walk fast if you have to, but stay low. Nobody is immune to Newtonian theory, so get yourself a body composition bathroom scale and get fat down to 10%, men, 20% women to help you to lose weight.

    Thank you James. I would say those calf exercises have been the most effective for recovering from calf injury on RUclips 🙌👏👌. Please keep up the great work you are doing for the running community

    I have a question if I may, please, I suffer with hip bursitis in both hips which is so painful and hampers my running as well as moving around in general - would you recommend overall strength training of strength training specially for hips?
