What TwofacedDemon said. Since the player didn't activate a loading screen (which I'm sure the trigger to activate it is the pit), he'll still follow you as he's programmed to and he won't stop until you trigger a loading screen.

(The other has the model "models/props/reflection_cube.mdl".) Also the properties "Clean" and "Rusty" don't exist for cubes. Instead there is an enumerator property "Skin Type" which offers the choice between "Clean" and "Rusted".

XD Great job breaking the game :) Yeah, his AI didn't know that you didn't get in the lift, but he kept facing you because that's how Wheatley and GLaDOS are supposed to appear in the game. So even though he was going through the regular dialogue, you still broken it by staying in the chamber :D But it seems a simple fall might have corrected it. But I'm not positive on that, I never ever tried to break the Portal series at all.
I think there's plenty of videos about the Portal games of people breaking the games or no-clipping through it and changing things. I've seen a few of them around. But don't expect to see an entire layout of Aperture, even if you no clip in the games.The building will appear unfinished or something like that for the simple reason of game design & so the game doesn't have to keep loading the building with each load screen. And plus, you don't have to break the game to see strange things. There's plenty of sketches and paintings around the building, hidden within many test chambers & also you can hear whispering when you get up against a specific wall in Portal 2. There's also a quick easter egg photo you can find by taking a radio to a specific wall too.

This is actually used in speedruns to skip most of the cutscene. After you can move off of the lift, you’re free to just jump down the shaft, since the load trigger for “The Fall” is still there. In fact, this is the biggest single skip of the entire game, next to the cube throw in “The Itch” that skips all of the paradox conversation.

That's actually a pretty well known speedrun tactic. You jump on the elevator and then quickly jump down. It wil save you a couple minutes of dialog.

If anyone in this thread is still curious, the setup I use I just on top right when the elevator makes a “ding” sound. The. I jump and kinda hold back so I don’t slide off

My brain once fabricated a fake end to Portal where there was another human besides Chell, Aperture Science was in the middle of a forest and weighted storage cubes gave Chell severe PTSD

XD Great job breaking the game :) Yeah, his AI didn't know that you didn't get in the lift, but he kept facing you because that's how Wheatley and GLaDOS are supposed to appear in the game. So even though he was going through the regular dialogue, you still broken it by staying in the chamber :D But it seems a simple fall might have corrected it. But I'm not positive on that, I never ever tried to break the Portal series at all.
I can bet that breaking Portal would yield the most interesting results. I mean it has portals, breaking those SHOULD give something to look at...
I think there's plenty of videos about the Portal games of people breaking the games or no-clipping through it and changing things. I've seen a few of them around. But don't expect to see an entire layout of Aperture, even if you no clip in the games.The building will appear unfinished or something like that for the simple reason of game design & so the game doesn't have to keep loading the building with each load screen. And plus, you don't have to break the game to see strange things. There's plenty of sketches and paintings around the building, hidden within many test chambers & also you can hear whispering when you get up against a specific wall in Portal 2. There's also a quick easter egg photo you can find by taking a radio to a specific wall too.

@@samuelsherriff6253 Honestly I haven't tried breaking Portal XD but it's mostly the fear of doing it with break it forever and I'll have to get new copies to replace my broken one. And well I don't wanna do that, and also I'm not a hacker, so I wouldn't do that to my games anyway.

This is actually used in speedruns to skip most of the cutscene. After you can move off of the lift, you’re free to just jump down the shaft, since the load trigger for “The Fall” is still there. In fact, this is the biggest single skip of the entire game, next to the cube throw in “The Itch” that skips all of the paradox conversation.
