Colt - Brotha I can't Thank You enough for this post as well as many others you've created. Man it is freakin hot and humid in CCTX. My welding projects have been put on hold since June. Can’t stand the heat. So what do I do? I got started making modifications to my truck like that’s going to be cooler than welding. NOT. THANKS TO COLT @ COLT’s WAY on RUclips I decided to add a few upgrades to the Beast. ARB Dual Air Compressor, Powered DC Management Panel with full wire runs to all of my Upfitter switches for future accessory additions, power cables terminated at the back bumper and front bumper for my Warn 9.5ti winch restoration, and currently building out a DC to AC inverter system to allow me to charge a backup battery system as well as run ip to 2500w of AC devices. Who said you can’t take a Margarita Machine to the beach? When you can’t start working outside until 7 pm due to the heat it makes things take longer than usual. More updates to come as I complete the building of an off the grid self contained DC power control box and add spot and accent lights to the bed of the beast.

Nice install, those ARB compressors are stout. I’ve had a single one under the hood of my Jeep for 7 or 8 years now. It runs both my lockers and airs up my 38s just fine. The only issue I’ve had is getting spare line and fittings because it’s 5mm and most American truck shops don’t carry it.

great video man! I need to do the same for a brand new ranger raptor. I was wondering about joining the 2 ARB positive (10AWG) to a single 6 AWG, looks like it worked for you, I was reviewing the ARB peak current consumption and it is around 68A, the 6AWG in 20ft that you bought supports 115A which is incredible! since most 6AWG wires supports up to 65A. Do you recommend going for the 6 or a 4 is a better idea?

New subscriber. I can relate to how you handle the frustration. After watching all the hard work you put into this on board air build, do you recommend this route or just get the Milwaukee 18v inflator? I notice you use all Milwaukee tools anyways. That 18v Inflator is pretty powerful. For all the applications you mentioned it seems like it would be a suitable contender for on board air. Not to mention portability.
