How to Make your Polo 9n/9n3 theft proof
Rewire the OBD Port on the car using a terminal removal tool to any mixed combination. Use a male OBD plug to female OBD plug rewiring back to original pin locations.(You basically making an adaptor)
Rewire the power in the ECU box and the wiring from the cars original plug that connects to the ECU (THEY HAVE TO MATCH) I suggest you get a professional to do this for you.
Change the fuse location, almost always car thieves remove the alarm fuse or cut the alarm siren. Put a fake fuse and hide the original fuse, you can also do this for the alarm siren.
Car thieves know exactly how to steal a car and they can do it in merely minutes. The best way to prevent your car from being stolen is to make it more difficult and time consuming for thieves to steal. Just 5 mins could save your car.

Put a LHD passenger lock blank in the drivers door lock to replace it. No lock to bust. Also fit an after market immobiliser like a Clifford blackjax.

a key switch in the door that connects the air bag trigger to the brake pedal.... so with the switch on.. step on the brake pedal and the air bag explodes in the thieves face..

Basically this is what it takes in south africa to own any hi risk vehicles such as vws hilux 4x4s mercs some bmws. Etc. Sad state of affairs when our cops really can't do anything and the manufacturers refuse to upgrade
Hi guys..can I please get advice? My polo got stolen..ignition bust...computer box was lying inside the car when found.car refuses to start now.
carfully put a cargo ring in the floor of the front seat.. making sure you don't drill thru the floor into any wires or tubing under the sheet metal.. take the drivers seat to an upholstery shop.. take another cargo ring.. have them remove the seat cover from the upper seat.. figure out how to mount a cargo ring to the back side of the upper seat.. get out of the car.. pull the chain that is padlocked to the cargo ring on the upper seat back and hook it to the padlock to the cargo ring on the floor.. since you have to slide the seat forward and tilt the seat forward to do this.. they can't get in the drivers seat to operate your car..
you can also put a cargo ring on the doors sticking thru the door panel. have a chain around the seat leg that you padlock to the door cargo ring when its almost closed.. can't get the door open to get in the car..
carefully create a folding plywood device like seat cushion.. but it has dozens of Deck screws sticking out.. like a bed of nails.. this is chained and padlocked to the drivers seat..
almost all cars have fuel pump or fuel injection main relays.. examine the wiring diagrams to see if the fuel pump or main relay coil is positive controlled.. so the computer sends positive to turn it on.. if so.. then get into the fuse box and cut the ground connection.. crimp on a wire and extend that into the car. hook that to a switch that is hidden.. ground the other side of the switch.. so when the switch is on.. the relay works normally.. when the switch is off. nothing happens..
master battery disconnect switches now have an optional kit that uses a MORSE cable.. you can easily extend the battery cables to this switch in a hidden position. controlling it with a push pull morse cable that the knob end could be hidden in many locations.. including coming up in the trunk space.

You are welcome bro, It’s best to get a broken key barrel for the door. Break it and fill it with epoxy, paint it. Because you don’t anyone to break parts on your car. It wasn’t a nice feeling to fix.
Not only breaking into your car bro but here in SA u can park your VW polo for 5 minutes next thing u know your rims are gone…your badges are stolen and your headlights….

Buy a strong U lock what u see on bikes and attach it to the front alloy. It will hit the bottom of the car and get stuck.
Take a locking nut from the back wheel change it to front so then u have 2 locking nuts on 1 wheel.
Is it possible to disable that door from manually opening ? it would only open with remote ?
Yes, drill the keyhole, epoxy and repaint. Only suggested if you have a boot keyhole. In case you have problems with the remote. (This will prevent all the damage)

Actually i needed to know/ask computer box pins +12V and Ground for VW Polo GTI 1.8T , 9n3.
You could see even the ECU bracket is open...
