Can't start to thank You for this tutorial...
excellent tutorial - just a comment on the channels and sample rate: I use a Shure MV7 mic which only allows 1 mono channel for my voice over with tracks from my iTunes library which are typically at 44.100kHz sampling rate, so I suppose your suggested settings (stereo and 48kHz) won’t be useful
Karaoke song edit full tutorial plz
Bizarre, Disregard my issues with cut and paste. I accidentally clicked on the snap thingy. I just unchecked it. thankS!
What do you choose for the format option and "save as type" option when exporting? I went with WAV and by default for the format option the encode is at Signed 16-bit PCM. There's also an issue here where the feeckback or noise reduction works fine when done first, but doesn't work when done last in this way. It is still pretty audible. Hmm. This might not matter since the song I am talking over is old and has some feedback anyways.
Edit: It looks like raising the noise reduction (db) higher than 12 helps.
I typically use WAV for VO projects as they tend to be higher quality than mp3, be aware that they also take up more storage space
Any clue why noise reduction makes the audio cloudy and murky? 12 doesn't get rid of the mic noise. 20 does, but it makes the audio sound underwater.
Hey im a complete noob at this and im doing everything that ive seen in this video and others but im still struggling to hear playback sound. If anyone knows possible fixes for this issue i would greatly appreciate it
hey brother Im an asmrtist , can you tell me how can I edit my audio ? I just want my audio sound like a guy whos channels name is lowe asmr, I got the same mic as hum but his audio sounds much better
What about noise gate to reduce the sound of breathing when there is a lot? I've been experimenting with that. Depending on the levels, taking out all the breathing sounds can sound unnatural.
Yeah, I used gate to remove unwanted noises too. Downside is, it makes you sound unnatural . Most important for audiobooks, but they don’t seem to like that on audition audio either. It’s better to minimise those with breath control and mic placements. And trim it down in post with noise reduction when needed.
Hi
I used Audacity version 3.1.3 in my Windows 8.1 laptop and it worked very well, then recently I upgraded my operating system to Windows 10. After that I can't get any sound from my Audacity (Though I get sound from various other sources). I thought I should upgrade my Audacity version , so I downloaded & installed Audacity version 3.2.5, but still no sound from replays though I can record or do other functions in Audacity.
Can you help me to get sound from Audacity replays?. Thank you very much . Rama
Check your systems' output settings and make sure the audio is going to the correct output (headphones, speakers, etc.). Then, check audacity output setting for the same
i dont have filter curve eq?
there no these much of effects in my audaCITY PLEASE TELL ME WERE TO GET THAT
If your audacity is updated to the most recent version, things were moved around a bit, but they're still in the effects tab
