    • @avahart2301
      @avahart2301 2 года назад

      @@RamachandranS20 I promise you it wasn't as much of a gamble as you think. Most thought of 9 or spades, he made it that way. This is the 'mentalist' part of magic... I actually think he made that trick quite obvious if you understood what he was doing. As soon as he said choose a card as I quickly flash through this deck, I was like... oh...ok... got it! The 9 of spades stayed for quite a long time, if he did that trick now he wouldn't let the card stay up that long but it still would have registered enough for you to think you genuinely picked that card on your own. This is how GOOD fake psychics work, btw...
      I'm guessing now, but it occurs to me that he prob left the 9 up longer to ensure everyone chose it since it would be hard to have a back up plan, considering the 9 placed under everyone's chair. In a more intimate setting he probably would be able to accommodate someone choosing another card other than the one he forced, by extending the trick somehow...

The card in front of the 9 is slightly shorter so that 'space' appears for the 9 to show for a very small part of a second. The majority of humans see the 9 as they don't understand how fast their eyes and brain work together. He didn't slow it down but that's what your eyes told you. The card in front of the 9 is slightly shorter so that 'space' appears for the 9 to show for a very small part of a second. The majority of humans see the 9 as they don't understand how fast their eyes and brain work together. Those of us who know this trick try to spot another card, and I caught a millisecond glimpse of a red ace, but it was too fast to say if it was diamonds or hearts.

      I think the minimum is 500 hours to fool a crowd. It helps if you bring the crowd in very close to where they are forced to look down instead of seeing it from the side.

    • @apolicum
      @apolicum 2 года назад +1

      I picked the 2 of clubs, because the 9 of spades was too obvious. Just replay that part, and you'll notice he ends the fast shuffle with the 9 of spades and this card lasts a little bit longer visible than the other cards. Enough for most people to pick this card.

    • @AI_Image_Master

      Because he forced it on you and most of us. FIrst he did it fast so you did not see any cards. Then he slowed it and slowed it again. OF course each time the 9 of spades was the last one you saw each time and it lingered more each time.

      Notice how he didn't fold the card enough to give it a visible crease. The card was always on top. He was just holding it flat with his left thumb and middle finger.

    • @yosoyyuenyuen
      @yosoyyuenyuen 2 года назад

      Yea it’s is super obvious that he shifted the folded bottom card to pretend signature card on another pile, while the folded signature card was always stay on top and he released the finger to pretend the jump ( leaving this comment for those who don’t understand the trick )
