@ChasingaPlate I did try to make a decent pie. I lamb, a little bit of chorizo, potatoes, and grilled onions for a light smokey taste. Some grave was also used, which is a secret recipe. It was well liked by friends and family.
As a local you guys picked incredibly well. Next time you're here, def worth a visit to D&K Live Seafood for the freshest and widest selection of oysters in Melb. Same family also owns Muli in the city.

Great recommendations! We tried to visit Banh Xeo Tay Do. They were closed at 11:30am so we were told to come back in half an hour, came back and it was still closed :( so we ended up at Sapa Hills instead!
OMG your princess was so cute. Only yesterday I was told that the economy in MEL was quite bad. At one place where I didn't pay attention where exactly, 30% of the shops were vacant. Did you guys feel that?

We were told that too and to be honest where we were kicking about it all seemed to be business as usual compared to back in NZ where there are loads of vacant shops and places closing down in the popular centres.
