The door issues could be from settlement. But I'd lean more towards a poor carpenter or homeowner diy'er tried installing new door slabs in old door jambs and goofed them up pretty good! I really like these quick vids of different aspects of a full inspection. Nice work!
Thanks for watching, Daniel.
The doors were not off because of settlement, those are a brand new style. While the frames may have been out of square, they were original and refitted with new slab doors that were porrly fitted.
Maybe. Yep. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Ive been watching internachi videos for about a week now, my wife getting into real estate and it gave me the drive to want to be a home inspector. Off the bat i love what you guys have to offer and for the price its pretty much a steal. My question is, in the case that I no longer want to be a internachi subscribed member, my home inspector Certification is no longer valid? In any other Certification giving by a course they dont cancel your certification just because you no longer school with them. Thanks for your time
Yes you no longer have credentials should you cancel membership. However if you get certified with someone else too like ICA....you'll still be a Certified Home Inspector.
Correct. Unaccredited schools will tell you different. When looking for a nationally-accredited federal certification credential for home inspectors, look for www.nachi.org/cpi.htm. CPI is a certification provided by the only home inspector college at www.internachi.edu.
Um gonna make up my mind to either open my business or work for someone GOTTA GET LICENSED FIRST😁
Where are you from, Yolitha? We may have resources to help you obtain that license.
What are your thoughts on the FLIR C2? I’ve seen inspection companies utilize the FLIR E54 for inspections.
Love the FLIR C2.
So, basically you do thermal scan of the floor complete and a seperate detailed a room by room inspection of the floor. I was wondering which way to go; room by room or make two passes for each floor like you did. Could not help but noticed the gang of 4 old yellow phones on the wall?!
Yes, correct
Are those 4 corded banana phones?
