  • Breaking down the power snatch and going over the 3 main cues I am focusing on during my workout. This workout was 8 singles on power snatch at 70kg and I break down each set and evaluate how the technique was.

Im a beginner, and when you played the slow motion one where you jumped back i was able to see it after you did it on slow motion! but when going normal speed, it was harder, since not experienced enough, if possible maybe you can do a slow more on the others that you missed? then show a "bad movement" by a good movement in slow motion so others can see what you mean and compare and learn? Really really liked the explanation at the beginning and during the movements and wouldnt mind you doing more vids like this with other movements! Keep inspiring and kick ass!!!!!

Hey Pope, I have one question about technique, maybe for a next video, or just for here :) do you do hang-work at all? So hang cleans, hang snatches? Or only from the block? We do it sometimes, and I hate hate hate it :D because it takes so much strength out of me to start from the correct position, and when I get tired, of course I stop starting from the correct position :) It is annoying because from the floor, everything arrives in pretty much the good places, but from the hang position it all falls apart :D I guess my question is, can one just replace hang snatches and hang cleans with block work? Or is there a specific reason why hang snatches and cleans are good for you?
