How to not lose progress in Hitman Freelancer

  • Just a quick video showing how to not lose progress in Hitman Freelancer :)
    Just two quick disclaimers, this video does NOT show how to save your progress in Freelancer (I also don't know how to do that), and this only works while you are alive, once you die in Freelancer you will not be able to use this to reset the level, once you die the game counts it as a fail no matter what.
    I'm also using a new mic so I hope the audio is a little nicer, the old one had a lot of popping and spikes in audio which was quite annoying.

    This is what people have been doing since the beginning, just with Alt+F4 (except for the period when they penalized players for doing it, only to later reverse it).

      Ah damn, I had no idea thanks for letting me know, I just started playing Hitman around a month ago so I don't know much about what happened before then :)

      ​@Settling_ Absolutely! I mention Alt+F4 because it's faster and easier when you run into trouble. It can even be necessary at times when the game glitches in some way that screws the player over. No need to lose progress over a bug, right?

      @@FogHazard Yeah I absolutely agree, it is a lot easier. And yeah when the game just glitches and you can't get out of it it is super annoying and losing progress on top of that is horrible!

    You should play the main game some more before trying to progress freelancer

      I appreciate the advice, I have played the main game a lot and it was my first time playing freelancer, that is why I had almost no weapons and why I failed the first mission :) I can happily say that I have come a far way since then though! :D
