Appreciate the shout-out. That was a great stream!
Nice
I've heard that audio cue a million times in the normal campaign, but thought it was just a normal, ambient part of the dynamic soundtrack. I never realized it only plays when you approach the target, and could be used to identify the prime suspect in a showdown, or that it was completely absent from Hitman 3 maps.
Same lol
I literally didn't even know what sound I was supposed to be hearing because it's basically ingrained in my head now
Exactly this, that single fact just blew my mind lmao
Exactly this, that single fact just blew my mind lmao
OMG same!
I’ll be dammed. I’m almost to level 100 and I’ve never noticed this at all. I played Isle of Sgail afterwards and within minutes, I bumped into the suspect and that music played. You’ve truly earned your title as master of hitting men.
Truly the best hitter of men
Really enjoying Freelancer, but it's definitely making me want more maps. Thanks for the tips.
Exactly.
I wonder why they don't use freelancer as an opportunity to sell more maps as DLC content.
I don't care about superfluous cosmetics or stupid escalations, just give us more maps!
I would easily pay 10-20 bucks a pop.
How are they even making any money on freelancer right now?
@@doom-generation4109 Damn.. why can't people be greedy when we need them to be?
Shut up and take my money!
Make maps!!!
Am i the only one who’s absolutely clueless on how to play it? Just feel lost

That audio que tip was extremely helpful. Thanks Freeze!
I wish he had mentioned that he got this tip from a chat member during a live stream.
@@IsUserADuck My apologies, I couldn't remember which livestream it was or your name but I added it to the description and a pinned comment. And of course, thank you for sharing
@@MrFreeze2244 no worries! Appreciate the shoutout.
Seriously!! I mostly like to try and find the target legitimately by using the clues given by Diana. Other times, I like to just jump with guns blazing to see who the target is, then will close out the game, and start over. This audio cue thing will really come in handy on the Hitman 1 & 2 maps!!
I'm nearly rank 1000, put years into this trilogy and the audio cue thing has blown my mind
Been watching your videos since 2016. Thanks for all the help over the years. When I started watching I was in high school. Now I am a year from graduating American law school. Once I start as a lawyer I’ll have some spare change to donate but for now I’m still a broke student.
I hadn't played Hitman in a while, but Freelancer has brought me back to it. I hope I can get some of the outfits I missed over the last year
Thanks for showcasing the audio queues. I knew about them, but I couldn't pinpoint it (because every time I was testing it, it was in Hitman 3 maps apparently). I'm already 100 mastery, but still really enjoying the game. Trying to get a hardcore completion now
Cues
Thank you, I finally understand what your chat was on about with the audio cues
This audio thing is really game change! Thanks mate!
No problem!
Be careful which map you choose for showdowns, some are annoying harsh than others especially when you get to lv2 or lv3 difficulties.
Firing a silenced pistol at anyone anywhere and Assassins can hear it from a mile away.
Haven island has a lack of rooms and doors throughout the map, so npc from the docks on one side of the map caan hear you shoot at them from the other side and suddenly everyone is alert and shooting at you.
Thank you! The audio cue thing helps a ton. I think I've got the regular mode down pretty well, but hardcore mode has got me stumped. When I end up with a showdown with 9 targets and all my prestige objectives I have to choose from are time based I just can't manage it. That said, I'm really liking how hard the normal mode is and it's definitely interesting how they made hardcore mode a genuinely difficult mode for masters only.
Freeze thank you so much this helps me out leaps and bounds I had no idea about the audio queue 🔥💜💜
Happy to help!
Nice video Freeze 🥶 👍🏻👍🏻 thanks for all the info and tips for showdowns. Whittelton Creek is another favorite of mine for showdowns
You bet
Wow damn this will be a huge help. Thank you so much sir
Another extra from me: @9:00 MrFreeze mentions the tells of lookouts - what i find very VERY annoying is that if it happens - and it happened quite often - up to 3 targets will spawn almost inside each other and with the suspect camera you can't tag them all if they are to close to each other ... i love to keep track on possible targets by tagging them "with the leader symbol" and follow them around but its hard in altered showdowns to do so because they are enforcers (but they seem shotsighted as they will not immediately recognize you like lookouts!) but patience and observation is key for me so it is very likely that a showdown with 9 or (in HC every showdown is 12 suspects!!!) takes 30 minutes up to 60 minutes when clearing areas and avoiding getting cover blown...
Suspects and Targets in alerted territories are only enforcers for your starting outfit and any outfit that permits openly carrying firearms. They will not enforce ‘civilian’ disguises. Lookouts do however…
Thanks Freeze. I like how you had a little teaser at the start before rolling your intro. Solid tips especially the sound.
I FIN the Freelancer already but still found your tips useful. I play Freelancer for level up profile. Thanks.
A tip with explosives, they can kill through walls.
This means you can use impact grenades or similar weapons and throw at a ceiling to hit a target above you.
Just be sure you're not too close yourself! 😉
This was great - never knew to even think of that audio cue (although I had to go through this 3 times to catch on to what it was)
Just took down my first Syndicate. I chose my showdown map as Whittleton, because I know the map more than others. I will say that map familiarity helps.
I like willow Creek a lot.. it gives me hitman blood money memories of the level in that one in the culdesac there...
I just did a showdown where all the suspects were in Cassidy's house.. I ran there and poured the bug spray in the vent and knocked them all out.. shot one suspect in the head and got the leader and beat the level in under 2 mins.
Love your channel!!
The challenges in freelancer are horrendous
Thx MrFreeze for sharing your knowledge: here is a location tipp from me being that humble semi-professional Hitman player i am: i love to create in showdowns whether it is alerted or not whether vanilla or hardcore create a safe space where you control chokepoints aka "bottle necks" where you can lure the targets into and elminiate them safe and sound! I love for this "trapsmith" Isle of Sgail the gate house/outer castle area and the tower with the butler where you can knock out targets after arranging meetings (and not get -1000 mercs by killing subjects) and hide their bodys in rooms in plane sight where no one comes through and IF some meetings are started by you - you are in control of the situation all the time :-) also i love to create these "safe zones" next to exits if stuff blows up you can avoid shootings and escape easy. Thanks!
PS: Talking about good maps for showdowns: @6:04 MrFreeze is running through that tunnel with that 2 guards next to the "tactical wetsuit exit" - thats one of if not the favorite spot i lure all subjects of a network into because they tend to stick around that dance floor area almost being impossible to seeker (especially in Hardcore with all these lookouts and enforcers!) and drop all dead bodys into the water to safe the boxes for assassins or stuff - thats why i mentioned the Isle of Sgail Outer Castle rampards also - you can drop all guards you've killed there into the ocean thus creating the safe space you need to maneuver and trap targets
never play Colorado, got it 😂 Thank you for the video as always!
Any time!
I actually prefer berlin for doing showdowns. I would take an alerted berlin over most maps except for maybe mendoza or new york. The ease at which you can get the biker disguise is so powerful considering it allows you to carry anything, including snipers.
Once I got all the weapons, I resorted to the tried and true method of murdering them all.
Nothing is more satisfying than hearing "congratulations, 47" after blasting the head off a random suspect that just happened to walk in a secluded room for a couple seconds
Bit of an obvious one but you can use the objectives to your advantage in showdowns. The main examples are poison target and distract target. These only trigger once you do said action to the actual target.
Obviously not gonna be totally consistent as depends on the luck of the objectives but incredibly useful for alerted showdowns or ones without the jingle as even if it's sedative (ideally out of sight to avoid panic) and you poison the wrong target you can at least maybe get a phone to call a meeting.
The meetings themselves are useful too as I've actually found the target may show more tells than the listed ones (often food/drink in addition to e.g. smoking) while non-targets don't but they'll never attend the wrong meeting so if you are struggling you can take out one of the two at the meeting and at worst you can grab a phone.
I've noticed too that often my target walks quicker than the others (a bit like Sean Rose; if unsure what I mean go watch how he walks in Colorado vs other targets). Doesn't happen all the time and being honest might be cases non-targets have had the quicker walk and I haven't noticed as already identified the target so gonna keep more of an eye on it but I've found that when there is a Sean Rose walk it's often my target.
Final one I've been doing lately is packing an oil cannister. Burn kills are trickier to come by and there's a 'burn suspects' achievement so I've either aimed for a burn kill on the target or if it'd cost me an objective, taken target out then called a meeting in somewhere secluded and taken one or two of the suspects out to make progress towards the burn achievement (to be safe I'd always do after the target is killed to avoid escape unless it's totally out of sight eg. In a toilet after a poison).
also you can go for showdown on maps with "distract target" objective(if not alerted)
Just bump tagets who at least match look description
Only sick games has that potential objective.
I thought Pys Ops also had that objective?
I know it's only one any way
great tips! had no idea about the audio cue
One of my favourite maps for showdowns is the Dartmoor map, simply because it's so relatively small. The drawback is how densely populated it is with NPCs.
What I’ve noticed is in Mendoza, there is an audio cue for the actual target. However, it is a different tune entirely.
You made me want to make a wheel to randomize where I go for each mission. Just to add a challenge to myself.
Like using whittencreek for showdowns. Cassidy's house is good to take down multiple suspects and targets, provided they are hanging around in there when you poison the house
Could you do a tier list of the maps for freelancer from worst to best with taking into account things like the difficulty of the map when alerted, number of exits and disguises, easy of use for showdowns etc... as it'd be good to see how maps like Whittleton creek fair compared to the main story mode where it's quite a fun map?
Freeze has a tier list on maps, but not freelancer. He said the best maps for him was how easy he could do missions without disguises. Tho I don't agree with that.
It's fine for not agreeing with my opinion but I rate things how I want to, not how you want to. My rating was based on my experience.
I failed a "normal" mission right before my final showdown which was in Paris, meaning I had to do the showdown on an alerted territory. It was ridiculous. I started on the barge and couldn't even get a disguise without getting into gunfights. After about a dozen restarts, I finally restarted too late and died so failed the whole campaign. I now have this ridiculous fear of doing any campaigns if they involve Paris because of that one showdown so avoid it at all costs, even if it means I have to do a mission on Colorado!
I was playing on Marrakesh yesterday and had tried like 5 times to do one of the campaigns. After closing the game out so many times and trying over and over, I finally said fuck it and brought a sniper. Sniped my 2 targets that were close by and went to hide in a box until the guards, who somehow know where a freaking silent ass sniper shot came from, left after checking the scene out. My dumb ass puts my controller down, goes to the fridge to grab a string cheese, get back to the living room, and I’m fucking dead in the box. How???? I HATE Marrakesh; it’s my Colorado (which I actually like).
@@alexandriav3956 damn man. I hate how ridiculous alerted territories are. I knocked someone out when I was on an alerted territory in a room with the door closed and no windows and suddenly a bunch of guards on the floor above knew it had happened and what I looked like. I'd already disabled the cameras so I don't understand how.🤦
Had the same thing, tried it 2 or 3 times, but went back to the safe house and canceled the campaign myself......😬
@@Henry0870 I should have done this as at least I wouldn't have lost all my gear. It was literally the last showdown of the campaign. I'd tried sniping each of the suspects I could get a shot on but sadly it wasn't any of them. It put me in such a bad mood that when I came back to it I was still annoyed and promptly lost my silverballer and goldballer in the next 2 campaign attempts because I was careless.
Thank you again Freeze
Starting to enjoy freelancer
my first final campaign showdown i ended up having colorado. Oh my days it was so hard. Until i realised i could just snipe the target and exit in 23seconds after quitting out a few times. Never choosing colorado for showdown again!
I'm level 87 in Freelancer coming here to clinch it. 😂 my favorite map is Miami, and I never knew about the noise cue!!
Thanks for the great tips as always man
That audio cue tip is fantastic. The leitmotif sounds a little like a siren. Call an ambulance (but not for me!)
Just started my Freelancer career and my first attempt was terrible at best...hahaha went back to campaign to get use to the game a bit and just hit Level 2 safehouse and completed a second mission now prepping for my first showdown ....so these sound cuse you speak of will help
I never even noticed that audio cue! Wow, the things you know...
I learned the hard way that "YOU'RE GONNA REGRET THIS!" means that I'm about to get blasted in the head with a shotgun at point-blank on the 4th showdown which is mission #18 and FAIL the entire campaign and lose 100K Merces and my loadout. Be F'ing careful folks.
I personally don’t agree that Paris is a particularly easy map for showdowns, I think the easiest ones are New York and Whittleon Creek.
That audio cue finna be a game changer
Been playing Hitman since 2016 but never realized that about the audio cue
Didn't know about the music cue. Thanks.
Nice video as allways!
I imagine the music is like some kind of MK ultra trigger phrase.
Awesome videos as always
Do you get the audio cue more than once? So say you didn't hear it the first time and then approached the leader again later would it re-sound?
Yes, in this video after you heard it the first time, it played again near the bathroom. There's a delay after you hear the first time but it does play more than once
@@MrFreeze2244 cheers. Keep up the top work. You've made my life in hitman so much easier
You're welcome 👍
Thanks Freeze! Xxx
You're welcome and thank you for your support!
Do not pick up the rusty nail which is located by the by the safe house shed as you can not drop it and takes up 3 spaces in gear capacity
If the owners have Halo ever buy Hitman, Alt-F4 will be one of the first exploits to go and losing connection will no longer excuse failing in Freelancer or Elusive Target.
Oh wow. That audio cue thing is a game changer. I am going to have to start using Hitman 2016 and 2 maps for Syndicate Showdowns from now on. Thanks MrFreeze! I wonder what that audio cue is called in the game files.
Colorado gets a bad rap. The map is pretty chill unless you are going for suit only runs. Suit only though yes it's a nightmare.
I always wanted but never managed to definitely figure out if the markers of a target aren't also exclusionary.
Like, if the main target is supposed to have glasses, a hat and grey hair, does that mean that anyone who has a tattoo, a necklace or earrings can't be it?
I wouldn't think so, but I never checked on any of the 200+ leaders I killed... That would make things a whole lot easier...
A lot of targets can match all the descriptions and still have additional things like earrings or tattoos. It's not like the tells
@@MrFreeze2244 Thanks! 😃👍🏻
Honestly I wish they would add somekinda XP boosters you could buy from suppliers. Leveling up in freelancer on high levels is so slow
Wow that is going to help me so much.
Freeze: Don't ever do showdowns on alerted territories.
Hardcore Mode: I'mma 'bout to ruin this guy's everything.
XD Hope you get past your Hitman Fatigue soon yo! See ya then.
Try and keep around 40,000 mercs when starting out. As it should be enough to get things like a silence pistol with carry weight 1, lockpick, emetic shrieker, and a silence sniper. These tools are the tools you will be using the most. Everything else you can improvise. What you do with the rest of your mercs is spend them on Freelancer tools. Usually they are 500-1000 from the supplier. The faster you fill up your freelancer cases they easier it’ll be to always have what you need for objectives. As when the cases are full and you use a tool in a mission, you’ll come back to the free tool chest, and it’ll 100% be that tool. Allowing you to control which objectives normal/prestige, you can do netting you even more mercs.
Can you share how you aimed at the waiter in the Mendoza wine cellar 6:06? It didn't seem like you were aiming at the waiter. I often struggle with using the Seiker from afar.
Seiker shots have bullet drop, you need to aim above your target if they're far away, and the darts don't reach their target instantly, so you need to aim in front of them.
Whittleton Creek is great for showdowns... if you get the right spawn you can finish it within about 2 minutes lol
Yeah but syndicates wandering in different trespassing zones is a frustrating experience
How do you aim the emetic pistols effectively at longer (and safer) ranges? I miss a lot especially at a different elevation as the target
Experience
Somethings that I have learned over the past couple of months of playing freelancer that may help others if they’re stuck. This includes if you want to do hardcore mode
1. When doing a showdown, the number of suspects that will match Diana‘s given description, will not exceed three suspects, that becomes four in hardcore mode .
2 civilian, disguises override the enforcer status in alerted territories and showdown locations
3. Finally, after the most recent patch in order to arrange a meeting, you now have to use the burner phone in proximity to another meeting location for it to count. Otherwise it won’t work.
I know this is a long comment I appreciate those who take the time to read it. I wasn’t sure where I should put it, but I hope it helps some people out.
Can you try triggering fleeing in Dubai showdown? I made a massive mistake and triggered all the suspects to flee, and was unable to drop all of them because I got into pew pew competition with everyone. What happened was that all the suspects just gathered in main hall and waited there. It took me ~20 minutes to get an angle on the main target. They waited all that time. I was wondering if that was a bug, Dev oversight or just how the showdown on that map works.
So:
Do the targets escape in Dubai showdown or do they wait like they did with me?
PS. Nice that you really put multiple samples of the subtle jingle, not just 2 or 3.
dubai is bugged
my targets just froze on spot after fleeing triggered also guards wont ever stop searching probably because of alerted assassins\lookouts
@@ReitmeierONE Might be useful in some Freelancer showdown speedrun I guess.
And yes, I had an eternal panic state too. Luckily this bug happened because I was at the fifth syndicate showdown when I messed up by trying to shove a camera on a suspect's face and accidentally walked into a restricted area. Would've sucked big time if I failed there and because of that.
For me I have no idea how to use meetings. I have a single target in a public place, I have just a pistol with a surpressor but that's it. I cannot come to him, he sees me, public place (Sapienza near the beach). I need to lure him out.
hi. one question if i put showdown i lose all my items but if then i immidiately put normal mode iave my items back? or when i change difficoult mode i lose everithing?
Changing campaigns results in the loss of all tools
You lose the three briefcases only (tools) but get them back until you switch again.
Dude🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙏🏻
I heard the audio cue was patched completely. Is this true or just in the hitman 3 maps
It is true
How does the Prank Caller work? It's inconsistent to me. I'm on Colorado right now. I took out the leader and used his phone, Prank Caller is counted. Restart app, do the exact same things, don't count. I happened to do something different, it counts, but not on the next restart. Frustrating. Is it selective? Timing? Do I take all dropped items from a Suspect so I can limit it to one person responding? Or don't pick anything up? I hope you can understand me.... Thanks
Hey great vid I always wondered what that audio was just assumed it was part of the music. Have you found any of the tells to be special/useful for kills? For example foodie/dehydrated tell will usually have a poison opportunity(not always). The smoking tell is good for gas leak explosion accidents. Curious if the others like reading or paranoid can be used for specific kills?
I've heard rumours the jingle has been patched out in freelancer.
Wonderful tips, but something significant of note at least on PC, is how BAD the Seiker 1 accuracy is. It has a extremely high rate to miss.
At the distance you shot at 6:08 it misses for me at >70% of the time. I've made shots at that range before. No effect. As if I'd shot nothing at all and just wastes the shot.
Also getting too close with the Seiker 1 means the target turns, spots you and it somehow shuts off the emetic effect completely.
I'm told via hitman forums this is not a bug. :smh:
Emetic grenades also seem to act weirdly. Tossed one through a window on Sapienza. It seemed to have really narrow effective range
and in spite of landing right on the target it didn't do anything but alert them to a noise. I had two times where I tossed one in Paris
where I turned my camera away as the emetic device landed. Both times the target reacted only to noise. The first was the two roamer guards on the 2nd level and the target kept wandering with them. I tossed it in their path. And ducked. No effect. On another mission
I tossed one into the guard room where the two are seated and it made them both stand up but didn't do anything other than alert them to noise. It gave me a distraction to disable the cameras (I lost my best silent weapon so I had to disable cameras the hard way) and escape
the area, but the guards were otherwise unaffected by the emetic cloud they both stood in. The only thing common to both failtures was
my camera was not watching the device land since I'd turned away or was around a corner.. This seems like a bug, but IDK.
Sieker shots are all down to how good you can judge the darts drop from longer distances. I usually have a good eye for these kinds of shots. It's all about practice and experience really.
They should add a batman costume and bat mobile would be great
My first showdown i was in Colombia and my tell was business meeting, dehydrated, sweet tooth. Target description was black hair, glasses, earrings, necklace. Turns out the black guy with BROWN hair was my target. Its was very frustrating because his hair looked brown ish dark in the sunshine but if he was in the shadows his hair was black. Idk if this was a bug but the person i killed had everything except he was wearing a hat. So i spooked my target and failed my entire campaign.
I had same problem.intel said brown hair but dude looked like ginger red on light, failed me level.
doing showdowns on alerted maps is very hard but a tip I have is if you have to do them (cause you lost a non alerted mission before) take the biggest maps, something like Hokkaido or Paris will just be impossible because the targets plus lookout will simply leave you with no room to maneuver, also I refuse to play maps I haven't mastered yet
Another tip, if New York is alerted, go for the job interview, answer the correct order and you have access almost everywhere, and the Targets are no longer enforcers! "Well, aren't you an eager beaver!" 😉
IT disguise is better and quicker to get
@@MrFreeze2244 Even on alerted territory?? Haven’t tried that yet
Yes
You know... I might be alone in this, but I sort of feel like the audio cue thing and the 'Your target is escaping' are both exploits that should be fixed. I heard during the beta that people would attempt to toss suspects into a box and if they could, it confirmed they weren't the target. Both of these things strike me as unintended cues.
What I WOULD like as a better tell would be spying on meetings giving you hints. The suspects behaving differently when they're talking to their boss instead of their allies, more deferential or formal, whereas a meeting between two non-leaders might be something like 'The boss is requesting a status report' or something like that.
The target escaping thing is going against the gameplay. The audio not so much purely because you're still getting close marking off the targets and it doesn't work on all maps so you're still following the way it's supposed to be played.
I got to pump that music volume up!
Maybe PC version giving you sound on hitman 3 maps, good tips, thank you.I will let you know if it is a case.
Hey there I noticed on one of your livesteams that the game announces characters in the game is this an option you can set in the game options?
Im having an issue where a target would match all the tells but its not the real target. Does this mean a target doesnt have to match all the tells? Im very fucking confused here
Here's a guaranteed tip to find the correct target that haven't made a video on yet. Turn your HUD objectives on to Auto. This will turn off your objectives on the screen. Then bump into every suspect, if you see the objectives show up on the screen after you bump into someone, that's the target. Guaranteed.
Well actually I’ve used Colorado quite often for showdowns when i discovered you can just burn everyone with the scarecrow disguise
Okay
I had 1 million mercs for the longest they need to let us buy levels or upgrades
I'm having a problem with silent takedown with rare melee weapons. I use a non lethal weapon like the mace or concealable baton and it won't register. So I use a lethal one and it still won't give it... What's the deal??????
They're common melee weapons if I remember correctly. Use a titanium crowbar or throw a emetic gas device or any rare remote explosive at their head. Lethal melee items don't work.
phenomenal guide. I actually prefer freelancer to the base game.
It really makes the game feel fresh.
Just curious do you think Victoria from hitman absolution will get her own story in the future?
No
Being color blind, the hair color one pisses me off. I can’t tell the difference from blonde to brown really, or grey to blonde, or brown to red. It makes these absolutely frustrating
Precisely my point in the video. Definitely needs better accessibility for the visually impaired and colour blind
Hey man thanks but um I just realized that you have a briefcase in freelancer so idk how to bring one with me and I’m not dumb because I don’t see a briefcase in the safehouse, I have a briefcase thing is idk how to bring it with me in a mission like this, I also got siegar 300 ghost and tactical.
Whenever you bring a two handed weapon with you to a mission, it comes in a briefcase. Hope that helps
Wondering if there is a bonus for collecting all the crates on the map? If there is, is it worth it? I find getting all the crates to be time consuming with very little reward.
nope, just a waste of time
especially because most of items cant be kept
You might get something you can keep, hell you might even get a gun to add to the collection. Overall though I don’t really waste my time unless I’m hoping for something specific that could help immensely.
Ok here's a question, how randomised really are these target? I am thinking that to add all these cues to all possible NPCs must be quite the coding overhead.
Here’s a tip, skip Colorado!
Something I always thought about was with visual tells; if it doesn't state the target has the trait but they have it anyway, for example, if the suspect has a tattoo when it doesn't say the target does, does that mean I can cross them off?
No. It doesn't work the same way as tells unfortunately.
Idk if it's happened to anyone else but when I've done a showdown in Chongqing one of the targets glitches into the wall and she's always the main target lol I've stayed away from Chongqing as a showdown from now on.
Actually love Bangkok
Hey Freeze, will you make a video of all the Redacted Challenges?
What redacted challenges?
@@MrFreeze2244 [Redacted] (I’ll Be Back)
Find Tranquility (Ave Maria)
[Redacted] (Sometimes Maybe Good. Sometimes Maybe Shit)
I think this is all of them. Your work is great... It's just a thought.
Meditate outside by the lake for about 5 minutes for tranquility. For the other one you need to fail 20 campaigns
I had a question, what is going on with the dart guns? Sometimes the target immediately gets sick, but sometimes they freak out and alert everyone? Do they hear it? Sometimes they will be distracted and turn around and look at you or investigate before deciding it was nothing and then get sick.
It depends on what the priority is in their scripting. If they hear the shot, that takes priority over being sick, if they find a body or is panicked then that also takes priority but once that behaviour has finished, the emetic effect kicks in. Only exception is the sedative darts. They work no matter what
I hope they patch the audio cue. Seems unintended and takes a huge chunk of showdown gameplay (having to ID and watch each suspect's behaviors, appearance, etc.) and turns it into "Anyways, I started blasting."
Showdowns are boring and takes way too long as it is. Unless they streamline it, I disagree with patching out an audio cue. It won't happen anyway and if you don't want it, turn your music off or pick a Hitman 3 map
@@MrFreeze2244 I think it's a bit of an unintended exploit/bug. Something that carried over from the Story missions of Hitman 1 and 2 that the developers overlooked. There is a series of patches coming and they said the next patch will focus on Freelancer, so maybe it'll be changed. It just seems wrong to have this 100% reliable way to tell who the correct suspect is without witnessing a single tell or even looking at their appearance. What's the point of the tells/appearance/agenda/meeting phones when you can run up to everyone and have your guy within about a minute?
I personally like the concept of showdown missions, but I agree it takes a while, especially on later showdowns in a campaign where there's many suspects, and then the second "half" of the mission once you find the correct suspect. (Figuring out how to kill them as silently as possible as they go through their loop.)
There could be more ways to narrow down a suspect to compensate for the audio cue being removed. I.E. clues you could find in the normal non-showdown missions (maybe in some of the safes) that grant intel and eliminate some of the suspects, etc.
@@MrFreeze2244 Absolutely correct. They take forever and are the most demotivating thing in the series. The only thing worse is that you can lose stuff you carry although you make it out alive.
Imagine having 1.6m Mercers and failing a campaing💀💀
