I am a nurse. Never ever be to proud to clean someone up. Could be you lying in that bed someday. I treat every patient as if they're my family member.
You're a great nurse

You sound like an amazing nurse
Jeremiah Parker you so sweet
as a nursing assistant, i can verify that kat is the type of person you hope you never work with
Nurses who hold the cheek while you wipe are worth their weight in gold.
Amanda DuVall yeah
I agree.
But you’re a CNA. That’s your job. To clean ass. Chill.
@@_bffr ........ its also the nurses job contrary to popular belief
kat is the typical filipino daughter who didn't wanna be a nurse but was forced by her parents so now she's just there for the money lmfao
what i was thinking. 😂
R B HAHHAHA
R B yup
Exactly what I was thinking lol
My grandma with me!!!
Kat literally just outed herself as the type of nurse that should never have entered the profession to begin with.
No somedays you just CAN'T with the poop, vomit, blood....
Would hate to have her as my nurse lol
Amanda DuVall very true! We’re human & have our limits
Amanda DuVall but she knew what she signed up for. If she can’t handle it than nursing ain’t for her.
@dil oreo The nurse in the video clearly stated that for the rest of her shift, she got to deal with all the other nurses patients who needed poop cleaned off them.
kat is the type of nurse you dont want to work with on a shift
H.I.K.W.Y.A. Thought the same thing.
Agree 100%, as an RN myself who worked as a nurse assistant for 3 years these are the types of nurses that the assistants start to dislike solely for the fact that we know when you’re avoiding situations and purposely trying to be unhelpful. Hospital work is teamwork.
Yup! Shout out to all the nursing assistants who get treated like doormats. Her attitude just emphasizes the toxicity within the culture. She's just there to collect a check.
-From a CNA/Phlebotomist/EKG Tech turned to Scrub Tech.

We can tag team it together and get it done in 5 mins or I will stand there and ask for help until her ass comes back. Its disrespect.
@@kukguroki4179 SOOOOOOO true
That nurse Kat didn’t even have a horror story. She just told a story about how she didn’t want to do her job and so she avoided it all together why her coworkers cleaned up the mess. She’s an embarrassment to all the hard working nurses out there.
They are out there. They are lazy and and entitled . I love it when they get fired. They make work miserable for everyone else. You are picking up their workload.
She’s the kind of nurse that will drop on you 4 of her patients when you already have 6 so she can only do two. They are out there! Lol what’s truly upsetting is that my friend told me a same Filipino girl does this at her hospital and now in the LA county they’re going to not hire Filipino nurses cause either some of them don’t want to leave and they are past their retiring date and others like her are constantly getting told on at the main office that they don’t work. It’s honestly sad for other people who do want to work and actually take their job serious.
Stop being mean to kat
Apple Pie :3 as someone who’s studying to be a nurse, it’s not being mean to tell someone ‘hey! You’re not doing your job’

That nurse who didn’t wanna help is straight up just lazy, so rude not to help others out.. if you can’t deal with a little bm you should definitely not be a nurse it’s your patient and caring for them includes all of the above you’re not there to just give meds out sweetie
Erin Rosas dear Em.
Have you worked in the ER? Or maybe a floor nurse? Chill out sweatie
@@joeyb6753 You dont need experience to have common sense. If your going to work in that professian you should know all the things that come with it. Not have other nurses and staff doing your job for you while your getting "extra supplies".
Ashley Rowe i cringed when you took the time to reply 🥴 seriously don’t do that
Joey B Yeah and I have definitely have never tried to bs my way out of a situation like that. There’s a HUGE difference in actually being busy, then of course that’s why pca’s are there too, but she literally said she was just taking her sweet time so she didn’t have to help, if she had enough time to go act like she was looking for something she definitely wasn’t busy and could have used that time to help out. I know first hand how much it means to an aide that a nurse actually takes the time to help out even if they already got it, it encourages them to keep the good work up and do more for their nurses cause they see they’re at least trying ..a nurse like that I bet no one likes to have on their team especially when aides can be swapped with 10-15 maybe even a whole floor of patients at a time , effort goes a long way on both ends and if you’re not willing to work as a team with the best intentions, I’ll repeat myself, gtfo of the medical field.

Guess what sweetie that whole attitude will get you nowhere FAST as a nurse aide. Nurse aides are all about TEAMWORK. the entitled get a horrible rep and get shunned. A great nurse aide helps everyone out. The residents deserve the best quality if care. It's not about HOW YOU FEEL its about THEM AND GETTING THEIR NEEDS MET. find a new line of work if you can't handle not thinking about yourself because Your mentality needs to change .
skorpia g oop youre mad. Lemme give you a scenario if you haven’t worked in critical care. If i have 12 patients which I usually do. One needs to be fed, my vital signs aren’t done, and my demented patient is trying to get out of bed, but i got stuck and have to clean up this patient while the nurse is bullshitting when i could be helping another patient. a good nurse would understand that and take care of it if my assistance is not needed. The description of the aide is to ASSIST the nurse, not to do the “aide” work and she just gives meds.
I had a nurse like Kat once. She made me feel upset and I was alone with her for a lot of time. I was bedridden and stuck with this nurse. I would cry when she was rostered to look after me because she was exactly the same as Kat. People with that type of attitude don’t deserve to be nurses
We honestly don't get paid enough for all the stuff we see and have to handle with.... But I love being a nurse

Most of the nurses we meet throughout our lives are and will be genuinely kind and empathetic. There are definitely ones that give you the “I don’t want to be here cause I’m too good for this kind of work and people” vibe. I think we can all definitely agree that if you don’t have the empathy to feel what the patients who need your help are going through and how much they need your help physically and emotionally, then don’t take on the job. Because if you can not feel for the patients, you can do more damage.” It takes a very special individual to help patients.
You should do an EMT version of this. I’ve ended up in some crazy situations in the middle of my night shifts.
Same here. It's always amazing to see what people can do to themselves and still survive. Especially those people who are seriously injured and still joke around
Do tell
I went into labor Friday night/Saturday morning, the emt that was with me told me that weekend nights were usually, drunk drivers/car accidents, drug overdoses, domestics and bar fights. Unless it was rainy, then homeless people faking illnesses to get a roof over their head. He told me that I was a great change of pace lol
Whatever Kat, that's just you not wanting to deal with a patient/situation. That story is a reflection of what kind of nurse you are.
*nurses reveal their horror stories*
Kat: Reveals how lazy she is instead.
😬😬😬😬
As the last one stated it has to be your passion to do nursing because you cannot pay me enough to do what nurses go through. God bless you all!! 🙌🏼
My mom was a nurse, and she once being a poor victim for being treated by other nurse like Kat...it's not good. My mom gotta do her job and when she finished the job, the other nurse like Kat suddenly got the credit. That kinda pissed me off
Nurses like Kat will never be in short supply sadly. In fact, many of us burn out/overwork because we have to pick up their slack to ensure that the patients all get the same level of care. Also, get over yourself, honey. If you wanna see a real code brown, try coming to the ICU and see how far your malingering gets ya ..

Kat shared her own story. She wasn't in a hidden camera show, she knew she was being filmed.
I could never be a nurse I’m so glad there are other people in the world to deal with this stuff😂 y’all got some big hearts
I started as an EMT with an ambulance before becoming a nurse. I saw a motorcyclist who lost a leg in an accident, a 15-year-old girl who hung herself, a 3-year-old boy who was beaten to death by his mother's boyfriend, several people who were shot, and other things.
Such a great and wonderful feeling to know that your nurses respect what's happening to you, and would never make fun of you. Did that Kat nurse say what hospital she works at? Cos don't get sick there.
she works in e.r.. if youre sick and dying, drive past that hospital. go to the next one even if its far away
H.I.K.W.Y.A. You do know almost every hospital has an E.R ... it’s the emergency room and not a specific hospital
A few years ago I had a nose bleed so bad that my eye started bleeding and the nurses saved me from possibly bleeding to death and kept me as calm as they were able to. I have so much respect for them
Kat: those are the stories we’re remember forever
No that’s the story that will get you fired......
HAHAHAH michelle's story was hilarious. delivery was on point. rewatched so many times
What was Kat's horror story?
Her story just 'I didn't want to clean up'😂
Kat: the patient pooped
Literally every CNA: yeah that happens every day.
I don’t know but nurses are probably some of the MOST or not most under paid jobs! They’re really underrated...
Rns and lpns are fine CNAS ARE SEVERLY UNDERPAID and those are the ones that are the hands on. That's why nobody wants their job.
So much respect. Nurses never know from day to day what they will see.
Nurses are awesome! 🥳 thank you for all you do 😍
Ya you're a female, easy for you to say 🤣 A LOT of female nurses do some WILD things to innocent defenseless unconscious male patients under anesthesia. Most commonly going up to unconscious male patients under anesthesia and lifting their gowns up for NON MEDICAL REASONS but to laugh and gawk and sexually humiliate them then further sexually degrade them by gossiping about their genitals even to other women outside the hospital. I could go on and on and on and on and on and on and on with stories.
Do you have a son, father, brother, Husband? If they are even remotely good looking or physical fit and had surgery when they were under 60 yrs old, just know that when they were still sedated post surgery in all likelihood 20 female nurses shuffled in and out of the Recovery room probably and hovered over him and giggled and gawked and sexually degraded him while he played there unconscious defenseless and COMPLETELY exposed. And in rare cases snapped pictures of his genitals to spread around. If you want to get the low down on what REALLY happens to YOUR male loved ones at the hands of female nurses when they have surgery and are put under anesthesia let me know I'll tell you the stories. But, most women for some ODD reason dont seem to care that their sons and fathers and boyfriends get sexually abused and sexually humiliated by female nurses, its REALLY odd but %99 of women just brush it off and dont seek to care that other women(female nurses) sexually assault their unconscious sons and brothers. Its VERY VERY VERY strange how women are cool with it
I just got out of the ICU and tomorrow I'm bringing my nurses a gift of treats. My mom is a nurse, so I try to appreciate them and all the work they do when I can.
Kat, that's not code brown and based on your story you've never been in one. They are not pleasant especially if they're c. diff pts. Two, you're the kind of nightmare nurse is not want to ever work with.
That nurse with the necrotic foot story, girl! I thought you were about to say the toe fell off. My pt's did and the horrified look on the family's face (not to mention my eyes involuntarily bugging out of my head) was something else.
But I wouldn't really classify all those as a horror story, they're so tame.
yall need to stop hating on kat
Different hospitals have different codes
Those were TAME story aghhhh! I was squirming just listening to those stories. I am never EVER going into any medical profession. . . EVER! 🤢
I would probably pass out just from having to do half of the stuff they deal with. I’m so glad there are amazing people like these guys that are willing to do that!
The fact that I already know girls that will be like Kat in my nursing classes....
Usually they are in nursing to marry a MD. I'm an old nurse and we had them in my training class, lipstick always and skirts an inch higher than everyone else's.

Having Kat as your nurse is the horror in this story.
I am a nurse in the operating room. I had a patient who wanted me to read his "positive affirmations" to him while he was under anesthesia having his prostate taken out. I happily obliged. Me and the CRNA start reading the list about an hour into the case. The list included phases such as "Please say: the nerves to your penis are healthy, strong, and look terrific! your penis will look and feel exactly the same! the surgery went so well you get erect before you know it! your pelvic floor muscles will be so strong you will be continent before you know it!"

As a former CNA turned med student, I can say with confidence that Kat is the definition of someone who shouldn't be a nurse. I give nurses a ton of credit because they are willing to get their hands dirty. But my glorification of nurses immediately stops when they talk about how they screwed over their coworkers or more importantly their patient.

Yoy want a real horror story? I am an OR nurse and one time, I was first scrub on a craniotomy (brain surgery). For some reason, the anesthesia machine wont work and the surgeon's drill suddenly broke. The patient's oxygen level was below 80% even being intubated (air is directly being delivered to her lungs). I was sure we are going to have a code. The other scrub nurse wont stop shivering. Then my head nurse went to the exit and screamed "little boy dont play in here. Let's go out". Suddenly the machines started working and the patient's vital signs normalized. We completed the operation after a few hours. The other scrub nurse was still quiet. I asked her what was the matter. She told me she saw a bleeding child beside the anesthesia machine behind us. She didnt tell me becauae she was afraid it will come near her if it finds out she can see him.
Cool. Theres a room where I work where over the years the residents kept seeing a lil boy.

I was pretty young working as a CNA working for an agency in a mental institution. I took a break outside to smoke. My last smoke. I had enough time to run to the gas station and get a new pack. This really good looking guy comes out to smoke and we chat. Nothing struck me as off. So when I said I would run to the store for a new pack he asked if he could ride Along. Zero hesitation I said yes assuming he was a staff member. So off we went to the gas station. He saw someone across the street he knew and went over to say hi. So I left thinking he will be back. Dude looked more sane than the doctors. I get back alarms blaring all over. Escaped patient. The one I just drove to the gas station. This is what nightmares are truly made out of My knees buckled. When my shift was over I left in panic attack mode. Never went back. He did go back. Phew. I almost quit Healthcare all together
I think Kat only went into the profession for the money
Nurses have super unreal people skills
Nurse here casually eating dinner watching this 😂
My mom is a nurse and she was one day in the ER working at like 2 am and she was one night working hard (as usual) she is an amazing nurse and at 2 am she has a girl come in with her mom and she had blood COVERING her face like everywhere and her neck and her shirt. EVERYWHERE. And it turned out she had been running and ran into the families shed that had a tin roof. And split her head open completely. She had to get stitches but that was not the worst part. The mom didn't call 911 or even hurry to te hospital she just told her ok I am working in something for my job right now can you wait like 15 minutes and then we can go to the doctor. The girl was screaming and crying (this was told to my mom by the girls older sister) and the girls older sister was like this is not good. And she took her to the hospital without telling the mom. She got there and was so scared rlthe girl was nearly unconscious from blood loss. The older sister was so nervous and was worried for her sister and mad at the mom. The sister and the other nurses said that my mom saved that girl's life.
I clicked off someone else’s video to watch this💀😂
One of the nurses I work with , I'm a CNA , she was doing a dressing change and the resident had necrosis in his foot. Long story short the residents foot came off. Mid change. They all knew it was going to happen but the nurse was trying to keep composure the whole time.

for the people going off on kat, it's not uncommon to see that. I 'm a MA and I don't do vomit, I am a bad emetophobic and I share the same shift with a couple who don't like poop so something along the lines "i'll take to the pt vomiting if you take room 115 code brown" is said. we basically do a trade off, so a favor for a favor like kat said.
