Thank you for including the disclaimer about ignoring colour rules. Apparently I shouldn't be wearing black, but I love black. It makes me feel super powerful to wear lol. Also yes to a summer capsule if you find the time, I love your capsule wardrobe videos.
Those style rules actually don't say you shouldn't wear those colors at all, they're a lot more complicated and personal than pinterest graphs make them out to be. (It isn't about hair + skin + eye = x, it is about what makes you shine) You might be a true autumn who unconciously loves her "best" colors after all.
Hi =) Here in France we too have this cool spring where you still need warm clothes and then suddenly it's summer and very hot. So seeing both capsules is interesting. I really liked this capsule wardrobe! Some pieces are very inspiring and I might try to make clothes inspired by them. About the t-shirt cropped "patchwork" tee, do you know which fabric it is made of? (I really like the shape and drape). You're right about matching sets. The versatility of matching pieces has "strucked" me lately. And I have a few projects with this concept. Your DYIs videos would also be interesting and welcome. Have a good day :)
I would love to see a video with different mix and match outfits from your capsule. I'm really curious to see the printed pants and long robe together as a print mix. Thanks!
I definitely agree about saving the shorts for your summer capsule. I’m in Ontario and it’s been such a cold spring so far. We still have most of our winter gear out. I’d love to see a summer capsule video! 😊
This green new dress is great on you! I think your color type is warmer than you thought. Maybe you are from spring season family: really light, a little warm and a little bright. So this musturdy top is just a little bit warmer and darker than your ideal warm yellow might be. Hope it helps. For me color type analysis helps me with my capsules a lot)
What a beautiful capsule wardrobe with such interesting pieces! You look great in everything 😊 so I am not sure why you are questioning the colours you picked. Very inspiring video! 💚💚💚
I love seeing your capsules Erin! I have been following you for years and I always find, that you are so good at styling your clothes and really getting the most wear out of what you have. I get so much inspiration out of it so thank you for making them :)
After seeing your video I decide to do again a capsule wardrobe for each season. As you said : you are happy to wear those clothes and change it after the season. And that is what I expected. I love my clothes but usually I do just one rotation per year (one capsule for cold and one for hot) and I think it is not enough. Thanks for your work.
@@MyGreenCloset of course, shame on me 🙈 If you decide to dye please share your tricks, I have a few things that I am afraid of ruining, but desperately want to dye them.
Thanks! Yeah any "seasonal" color analysis and such always says rusty/red/yellow/brown basically all earthy tones are ones I should avoid. I've scrapped the whole concept though because I just find people always look best in colours they enjoy wearing!
@@MyGreenCloset you look like a stereotypical light summer but those are stereotypes. Meanwhile I look like a stereotypical soft autumn, but light summer/spring colors are the ones that actually make me glow! Humans and coloring are so unique, those stereotypes are wrong a lot of the time.
I love your capsule videos! I think this year I really want to buy one sondeflor skirt, have been drooling over them for years now, I think that means I should finally go for it 😅
Yes to a summer capsule, would like to see what pieces were swapped out from the spring capsule and also what stayed just for quick comparison 🙂 If you would post DIY projects in a different social media platform, hope it can also be re-posted here for visibility! Currently just kept my RUclips account to tone down on internet noise.
You look amazing in the dark mustard color it brings out your warm coloring and reddish hair. The burnt orange sweater is another piece that blends and brings out your beautiful red hair and warm coloring. The rust long sweater with the green jumper looks very lovely. My favorite is the maxi robe - bright colors
Great capsule! I've had trouble finding cotton sweaters while thrifting - do you have any brand suggestions? I have two hand-me-downs I love from LL Bean/Land's End but both are heavier turtlenecks and I can't find a light/mid-weight that I like the fit of.
There's some good cotton options of different weights in my sweater roundup: mygreencloset.com/cozy-sustainable-ethical-sweaters/ Keep an eye out for those brands!
Also now that your hair is warmer/reddish, orangey shades like that look even better than your previous, cooler blonde :) I used to dye my hair all sorts of colors in college, then for a couple years dyed it a few shades darker than my natural - when decluttering this year I realized a lot of the clothes I wore during those years look strange on me now. Having more contrast between my skin and (darker) hair made more dramatic clothes flattering, where now that I'm 'soft' again they sort of overtake me. Since returning to my natural hair color I seem to always be drawn to sage green, soft rusty oranges/reds/browns, light/medium greys/taupes, and for 'fun' I add higher-contrast colors like olive, hunter/forest green, mint, burgundy, baby pink. Some rules are made to be broken!
You could dye the jacket a dark forest green. It bring out some of the color in your pattern pieces . Also it would make the color of some of your solid pieces pop! Just a suggestion.
I totally get that 'happy to see you again' feeling when the seasons change. And I don't mind getting a Summer video, 'cause your capsule videos have been my favorite for years.
Love to see your collection. And that you prioritize what u like on you and not what other people recommend :) I sometimes get lost in you should wear this and that.
I had this exact problem with my spring capsule this year (which is only the 2nd season since I've started doing capsule wardrobes). I got so excited for warm weather, and had so many warm weather pieces. But it just wasn't quite as warm as I was expecting, so I've been having to slowly bring out warmer clothes to make it through spring.
Yes to the summer capsule wardrobe, if you find the time. It's always fun and inspiring to watch. Thank you!

70% of my clothes are black, I like pretty much all colours tho 🤔

Looking forward to seeing your DIYs.

I'm posting more outfits on my Instagram!
yes to a separate summer video! I also have cold spring and I'd love to see the switch outs

Oof yeah. Every year during the "false spring" and I get out my warm clothes only to put my winter coat back on a couple weeks later 😅
Yes I would love to see you summer wardrobe !

The new orange-like top totally suits you, remember the exception makes the rule 🧐🎩 and yes, summer capsule video, pls!!
That matching set looks SO comfortable! 😍 Enjoy your capsule, it looks really versatile!
Be careful with dyeing because stitches may not catch colour.
Don't worry, I have a lot of experience dyeing!

Is that color ribbed mock neck supposed to not flatter you? Because it is SO cute on you and I love the color with your hair.

Color color color! Spring is coming ☺️😊 I really like all the prints and the way you style your pieces. Can wait for more!
Love hearing about new brands from you with examples 5:15, 6:50 👍
I would love to see those hand made pieces!! 💖

im so glad you included colour! so many other capsule wardrobe vids are so beige
Yes, your new top is very nice: the colour and cut. approved, hehe😉
but those rusty shades do suit you! I think you might be an autumn type.

I bought 2 pairs of the encircled dressy pants because of you! :) Love them sooo much
I'm so glad you like them too! 😊

Love these pieces, especially the plaid pants!
I love Anne Mulaire. They make such good pieces.
They're doing such great things!
