A slow spin or delicate cycle in the washing machine minimizes linen wrinkling. And, as Lauren says, immediate removal and hanging. I do some hand-shaping of all my garments when they’re still wet, I don’t usually put clothes in the tumble dryer. In the washer, the water somewhat minimizes the friction on the clothes, but the dryer increases it, wearing clothes out quickly. Also, fabrics with spandex, which I hate, is in so many garments, it’s best to allow clothes to air dry. Heat breaks down spandex immediately, stretchy clothes are ruined by it.
So glad you found the linen shorts you've been wanting! Would love to know the process you go through to identify a gap in your wardrobe, and where to look to find what you need (+ budgeting, in-store vs online shopping, fabrics you recommend, etc). Love the summer basket and bucket hat. xoxo
Just one more comment, I don’t know how many clothes you’ve made before but I make my own clothes too and that dress looks amazing! It’s beautiful and looks very well made. Also, how sweet of your mum and grandma to have made you that cardigan, especially with those colours that are perfect for your wardrobe.
I love pink and green together, they, along with lots of white, are the dominant colors in my wardrobe and in my home decor. There is something about the balance of the warmth of the pink and the coolth of the green that is so charming and easy to wear and live with. (I prefer the lighter, pastel versions because I’m a Soft/Summer coloring type and don’t like dark paint in my home). What I’m looking forward to wearing: my new blue-on-white striped silk shirtdress. I have a luncheon party this weekend, and it will be perfect for that.
For linen fabrics, handwashing them and air drying them is best to extend their lifespan. I've noticed that putting them into the washing machine or dryer caused them to rub against each other which forms lints (and eventually tears). Lovely capsule and colours! 😊
Dear Lauren, I think dark colours on you work really good, somehow giving a frame to your gorgeous femminine figure. Your white dress Is fine but I immagine it in some dark colour, navy or dark green. Just an idea for you to try. Hugs from Italy!🤗
Polo (collared knit) shirts were very popular in the 80s, when I was in my 20s. I wore them a lot then and was happy when they came back in style. I love the way the collar highlights the face and makes what is basically a tee shirt much more polished.
Great video. I always love your bubbly energy 😊 I find it interesting what other people put in their capsules. I wouldn't think that 4 white tops (3 button ups) would offer a lot of versatility in making outfits look very different in a small wardrobe. I do realise they are different styles but personally I would think that you would be able to make more interesting outfits with some different colours as well
I love your videos so much! And I always feel like your clothes look really well laundered and taken care of. I feel like a really great idea for a video would be you showing us how you keep your clothes in such great condition to be able to wear them for such a long time.
I really like your colour scheme for the spring and summer. I love pink and green together and really like those pieces, especially that long sleeve blouse. I’m really enjoying your videos. Edited to add that I really liked the way that you transitioned to the ad 😊
It’s great to see your capsule wardrobe which incorporates pretty styles and fabrics, resulting in lots of interest and surprises. So refreshing after watching some examples which can be (honestly) boring. You are inspiring!
Love your capsule and color palette! Pink seems to be popular, I follow another capsule-r (Val) who also has pink in hers this spring! I love all of your light shirts, I've found it so hard to find light/white/cream shirts that aren't see-through.
Ah been waiting for this video!! I love your style and your video presentation, just everything! You are so beautiful and radiate such positive energy!
Loved this video! I find a lot of inspo from your wardrobe and style. I have a similar colour palette but with a slightly different vibe. I love all the romantic features of you wardrobe
We have similar coloring so I get so much inspiration! I’ve made my own clothes here and there and your dress turned out perfect 😍 I definitely need to consider linen when replacing items.
So inspired by this! I would love every single one of these pieces, will definitely be looking into recreating some of these. Your personality is so positive, thanks for the good vibes! Subscribed.
Love your style sensibility and generosity sharing your capsules with all of us! The dress you made is perfection, also the crocheted sweater from mom & gran!
Lauren, what type of undergarment do you wear with the square neck silhouettes? I for the life of me cannot find something that doesn’t peak out. Even my strapless bra shows 😣
Just curious if you know if cotton shirts are the same way in terms of washing them making them softer. I bought a white button up at the thrift store a while back that is 100% cotton. I felt a tiny bit stiff, but I think it might be softening up a bit but not 100% convinced.
🇩🇰👋 love love love the dress on you - the silhouette! why don’t you make more in other types of fabrics? You might even do with long sleeves for other seasons 🤩💐
Love this video! Please tell me you have a pattern for that handmade puff sleeve blouse you made...I sew a little but don't trust myself to make that without a pattern or tutorial!
Please, which type of bra do you wear with all these square neckline tops and dresses? It looks gorgeous and I bought similar dress, but have no suitable bra 😆 Sorry for this question 😊 Love your channel by the way...
great video except when I click on the links below in hopes to see links to (similar) items in the video, instead all I get is the home page for the open wardrobe app, not showing anything pertaining to your video in particular. Disappointing because I don't feel I should have to download an app in order to see more details about the clothes you have in the video.
Hi Miranda! The green pants are from Laude the label, and the beige ones are from Quince (though I don’t recommend them. They have worn down so quickly!)
The Ad Break 😂😂
I would love a hair (and makeup!) tutorial if youre ever interested! Maybe a get ready with me video :)

Enjoyed the presentation of your spring capsule wardrobe. The cardigan is a beautiful accent to your spring pieces. Love the cardigan!
I really like your style! Love from Philippines :)

Open Wardrobe sounds like a genius idea. Thanks for sharing.

Love it!! 😍Where did you get the black puff sleeve top you’re wearing in the vid?
I wanna know too! It’s so cute
15:22 in the video. I think it’s from reformation
I love your feminine styles but how do you layer a puffy sleeve?
New to your channel. Binge watching now. Love the dress you made!

Loved the dress and top you made - beautiful!
le dimanche only means on Sundays. On Sunday or Sunday would be just dimanche. :)

I'm so much inspirated! Thank you 💖 this spring I was feeling so confused about my body and what I have in my wardrobe, now I have kida clue 💕
I love the green pants! They are gorgeous and look fantastic on you!
Finally someone I can relate to! Love your choices and color scheme 💕 a minimalist packing video would be awesome
Lauren, what type of undergarment do you wear with the square neck silhouettes? I for the life of me cannot find something that doesn’t peak out. Even my strapless bra shows 😣
I’m wondering the same thing!
Your hair is amazing 🤩 I love the color and it’s so full! Do you have extensions? If so where did you get them?
Love your colour palette! The green looks so fresh.
Maybe an unusual question, but where did you buy your lovely teapot?
Great capsule! Absolutely love your straw bag with the oranges on- adorable! Can you tell me where you got it from please? Thanks!

That Jane blouse by Doen is....
Wondering where the white linen pants are from? I really like them, thanks for the video!🌸

Hi, what brand is the long sleeve floral blouse from? I couldnt quite catch it on the video, but would like to check it out :)

Where are your green and white pairs of linen pants from? I'm looking for something similar. Thank you 😊
Hi Miranda! The green pants are from Laude the label, and the beige ones are from Quince (though I don’t recommend them. They have worn down so quickly!)
That shirt literally says “I love you, Sunday.” Nothing there about “on.”
