I think something we need to remember as sly cooper lovers is that thieves in time seriously appeared out of no where. We had little hints, but it came out long after the third one. I’m hoping it’s the same way with another one. Because I can’t handle to cliff hanger anymore.
Not going to be Sanzaru, they got bought out by Facebook to work solely on Oculus games. Don't worry though, Sony still owns Sly so it's in Sony's hands for when we get another Sly game.
I don't get the hate for sly 4, I havent beaten it (im in the middle of the mice and mocha episode) and the gameplay is solid and the writing is pretty good, theres lots of details and dialogue I like and it keeps up the spirit of the rest of the series. I've found lots to appreciate in the game and look forward to completing it.

My idea for Sly Sequal Trilogy would go like this Sly 4 - Sly slips back to his habit of stealing and gets the gang back together for one last hurrah, Camelita finds out and gets her fur raffled chasing them all over the place before being emboiled in an international plot to ruin Sly's reputation as a Cop since he had been working for Interpol for a few years now. Sly and the gang defeated this new adversey and reflect on their adventure, Sly feels bad for decieving Camelita and deciedes to set up a Lost & Found business for recovering missing items as long as you don't ask how. Sly 5 - Sly and the crew are tasked with collecting a series of artifacts that were stolen for an ecentric Billionnaire, the game is split between Sly recovering the Artifacts and Camelita working on an investigation into a series of thefts related to the Artifacts. In the final act the 2 come together to find out that Sly got duped by the Billionnaire who through his connections acquired Bentley's research on Time Travel and realised that he needed the Artifacts to power the time Machine, with all the pieces in place he goes to enact his plan to plunder the history books for all their wealth but slain by his assistant who happens to be Nayla's father who uses the Time Machine to undo history and bring back Clockwork thus preventing his daughter from dying. Sly 6 - Sly and his Crew race against time and through history to stop Nayla's dad from undoing the events of the first and while trying to keep history from changing, after going through the various time periods Sly and Co learn more about the origins of Clockwork and his feud with the Cooper Family. Finally after reaching the final time periods Sly send the father through time once only to emerage on the night that Clockwork kills his family, teaming up with his father they finally defeat Nayla's Father and send him back to his time to be arrested the Sly spends one last night with dad pulling off one as last heist together before leaving him one last time and giving his life of crime for good. After the credits roll Bentley shows Sly and the others the new Cooper Vualt which isn't filled with treasure but instead memories of their past adventures and exploits, Sly decides to then fill the Vualt up with as meny memories as possible with his friends and new family.

In sly 2*, that was supposed to be the episode that would be the first map where they'd first encounter Dimitri. It was cut due to time restrictions and due to the game size, that being the reason why Dimitri is the only Klaww Gang member that only has 1 episode in Sly 2
The only thing I'm not putting up with is not the fact that sony decided to put the episode of Ancient Egypt in a DLC, is that this episode, being in Ancient Egypt, had to portray the ending of the game. Probably Sanzaru had in mind some media rés storyline like Sly Cooper 3 which started in the same area as it ended. So, they thought that it was a good idea, to rip the ending of the game out and put it in a DLC for you to pay? Oh Sony... Sometimes, sometimes... This is just so painful.
I REALLY love the idea of a full fledged forest, like as an episode? That would be amazing. Just imagining that makes me think squirrel guards. What if they had little acorn slingshots? It would be really cool if you could climb through the trees and stuff like in Rajan's 2nd episode in Sly 2. Maybe the boss could be a panther or something like that. Ok, at this point I'm almost expecting it😂 I think the series needs a forest episode.

Network makes me think of multiple thieves interacting over the net. There's a chance since the PS Vita is a handheld console they wanted to add LAN multiplayer elements to the game, like you can drop in and help your friends in the game. Perhaps you could control a device made by Bentley to scout the area. Maybe levels get harder and you need to stun guards, cause distractions and disable defence systems to make it either easier then normal or about as easy as the normal game. Imagine playing a hackathon mini-game while waiting for sly to catch up to you, either after finishing his platform challenges the doors have been opened for him or he can pop in too and the mini-game's back to 2 players. Never thought I'd be featured in one of your videos. A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one.
Yeah a Level set in a Dark Forest would be pretty cool, at least from a Sly Cooper fan's perspective, considering this unreleased game would've taken place in Transylvania, i can imagine the hypothetical Dark Forest section giving off Ghosts and Goblins and Castlevania vibes, essentially the entire game being in a gothic horror style, kinda like the Prague episode in Sly 2 would've been my jam knowing the odds, i will admit the Prague episodes were some of my favorite levels in the game, let alone the series. Honestly Thieves in time definitely needed a little bit of supernatural stuff, which i feel like it lacked for no other reason, than to lack it, heck when in the Medieval episode in Sly 4, when the part where the Dragon gets introduced i was disappointed that it was just a machine and Bentley sort of betting highly that it was a fake, which the way he went on about it, makes him sound like a sceptic, which is out of place for his character...

I don't know what other worlds might be but if it only takes in Transylvania the map would be more of an OpenWorld vibe to it and that would be cool which means more quest and small-mini games in one world and one game. It could work. Imagine the whole goal is to enter an impenetrable gothic castle and has a vampire bat as the final boss in the tallest tower or something. it could be a prequel game in the squeal. I am sad. Transylvania would be a great world to explore.
I like that the villain would’ve been a bat, I wonder why go with the name that they did? Could it be that they had an idea of a network of thieves helping them out in the very end similar to sly 3? Also bentley’s hackpack also got approved.

There has been some rumors going around about the release of Sly Cooper 5. Apparently two online retailers Instant Gaming and Press Start both have listings for Sly 5 with a 2020 release date for the ps4. It could be fake since no statement was released by Sony or anyone else about it but it’s pretty interesting that both of the retailers have it listed.
Network of Thieves seems like it was meant to be some kind of resource management spin-off game where you controlled a large group, or network, of thieves and other underworld type people such as hackers and thugs etc, just judging by the name. And you would send them on individual missions to gain rewards and new recruits to beef up your network. I'm imagining something similar to the Brotherhood aspect of Assassin's Creed where you could send other assassin's in your brotherhood on contracts to bring in extra revenue and take the Templars down a couple of pegs at the same time. Or, judging by the top down concept art, it could have been a strategy game where you commanded a group of thieves to take alternating paths and working together to sneak into a target location and steal certain items. But then again, the concept art could just be laid out like blueprints for a HUB map.
If sly cooper 5 had a morality system like Infamous that would be awesome. not only will we make choices for sly we will also choose how the story goes

Hell depending on what type of villain Mortimer would be and gameplay style a forest could be a melting pot of ideas. Maybe hed out to find truffles those are a rare "treasure of a forest.

I'm not too fond of a gritty/mature rated T Sly game. It really doesn't need it AND making it too gritty will just make the game lose it's essence. What I'm up for, well have our characters go through psychological challenges. Sure, I like the idea of a ''tragic'' death, doesn't mean the game has to be rated T for that. The one character I'd imagine dying is the Panda King IF let's say Clockwerk were to return. His death could give rise to character development for his daughter Jing King.

Well, we have had bat villains in the series before, remember The Contessa had bat guards, and then there was General Clawfoot who appeared in episode 5.
Imagine going trough a dark forest in the dead of the night, that leads to this old castle ontop of a cliff. Then you have to climb your way up trough the endless staircases and dangerous castle walls and towers and then you fight Dracula. I think that Network of Thieves unreleased Sly Game is like a spin-off to me. But I think it might be another game not connected to the Original Series like Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters and Jak & Daxter: The Lost Frontier. I really wish Sanzaru makes more Sly Cooper Games including Sly 5, Sly Cooper Remake/Remaster Collection, and Sly Reboot Game with the TV Universe and Spider-Man PS4 Combat Formula.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Sony has a game planned for Sly before or during the release of the show. It would be great advertisement for the show in my opinion. I think it would be odd to just release a tv show whose only following are the old fans of the series. Sly needs new life and a game alongside the show would be a great idea. Like they did with Ratchet. The movie was bad, but it was great advertisement and hype for the game. A reimagined Sly on PS5 I feel would be best to release alongside the show. We already have a remastered collection so another remaster on a new console I don’t think would do the series any good. A sly game or collection reimagined would interest new people to the series to try it out because it would look like a beautiful PS5 game and not an old PS2 game in better HD. If not Sanzaru, Bluepoint Games or Toys For Bob would do an amazing job on a reimagined sly series

When I saw the numbers on the map, I directly thought of Sly 1, with the keys, etc...(edit : someone had the same idea in the video -_-) For a (ex)game/idea that was planned before or during the development of Thieves in Times, it's a good idea. Just imagine if this game was made back in the day, how Thieves in Time would have been !? No cliffhanger at the end ? Some ancestors have already been visited ? An other style of "animated" cutscenes ? There are too much questions about that and too much stuff to overthink 😂 For example, this whole episode (I'm gonna call it like this, because there are already a boss, areas, ...) happens in an other dimension. The gang do the stuff like usual, recon photos, mission to do the plan, Carmelita (with them already ? It's maybe a bit too much for a "normal"/"realistic" storyline) but, because of the "other" dimension, each one got their double (can be funny for Bentley, Murray, or even Carmelita, but it's going to completly mess up the story) there are already a Cooper, but it can be bad --> link directly to the video on Dark Sly, they try to stop him and have it with them, and fight the real bad guy (aka Mr Mortimer) Finally travelling back to present day (not our, their present day) and have the events of Thieves in Times happening. _BREF_ Back to the main subject, the idea of doing a forest is really intrusting, with all the stuff you can put in, and have a other landscape is great ! On the 2nd page, there are these little platform with canons, that reminds me, when we need to liberate Rioichi in Sly 4. Dr Mortimer, Transilvania, a bat 🤔 that also remind me of Hotel Transilvania, if it was made, maybe some Easter eggs could have be hidden. I'm having Sly Cooper withdrawals. Been playing the four games over and over for so long- it's time for another one. Someone, anyone PLEASE either tie up the loose ends created in the story ( #freeslyfromegypt ) or give us SOMETHING. Would have been nice to see, as the Sly Trilogy is not too bad on Vita (besides the 3rd game on a code grrr.) but having it's own like with the Ratchet & Jak PSP games (and Sly never got one of course on PSP) but the Vita not selling well or timing/not enough ideas (or the budget of making both) or something it is sad to see. While Lost Legacy or Golden Abyss for Uncharted or Resistance Retribution/Burning Skies exist they do make some interesting experiences, spinoff/prequel or whatever they fit in.
This is only a hunch, but I think a reason Network of Thieves was cancelled was because the PSVita wasn’t doing well. It wouldn’t be good business strategy to release a game in a series that doesn’t get as much buzz as Uncharted exclusively for a handheld that not a lot of people own.
Well.... The Vita launched in 2011 and Sly 4 was being worked on even before that. If the Vita was poor in terms of sales, why did they ''waste'' time porting Sly 4 on the Vita? Wouldn't that extra time rather be dedicated to a bigger game let's say?

If SLY COOPER ONLINE or SLY ONLINE aka "Network of thieves" Becomes real, they have to make Missions like "the most coins taken or the most safes cracked or 5 players must rob money in a bank or steal in a museum and steal the most or the other team players steal from other teams. Yeah a Level set in a Dark Forest would be pretty cool, at least from a Sly Cooper fan's perspective, considering this unreleased game would've taken place in Transylvania, i can imagine the hypothetical Dark Forest section giving off Ghosts and Goblins and Castlevania vibes, essentially the entire game being in a gothic horror style, kinda like the Prague episode in Sly 2 would've been my jam knowing the odds, i will admit the Prague episodes were some of my favorite levels in the game, let alone the series. Honestly Thieves in time definitely needed a little bit of supernatural stuff, which i feel like it lacked for no other reason, than to lack it, heck when in the Medieval episode in Sly 4, when the part where the Dragon gets introduced i was disappointed that it was just a machine and Bentley sort of betting highly that it was a fake, which the way he went on about it, makes him sound like a sceptic, which is out of place for his character...

Forests are rarely used for 2 reasons:
- Trees use a crapload of polygons, while you can make walls look pretty with less
- Camera
2:39 then switch it to the console "Network of thieves" could be a temple Title Maybe since it's in Transylvania, "???" I don't know what other worlds might be but if it only takes in Transylvania the map would be more of an OpenWorld vibe to it and that would be cool which means more quest and small-mini games in one world and one game. It could work. Imagine the whole goal is to enter an impenetrable gothic castle and has a vampire bat as the final boss in the tallest tower or something. it could be a prequel game in the squeal. I am sad. Transylvania would be a great world to explore.

Bentley's hackpack was already established in Sly 4. I guess it would also count as a ''port''.

There has been some rumors going around about the release of Sly Cooper 5. Apparently two online retailers Instant Gaming and Press Start both have listings for Sly 5 with a 2020 release date for the ps4. It could be fake since no statement was released by Sony or anyone else about it but it’s pretty interesting that both of the retailers have it listed.

Network of Thieves seems like it was meant to be some kind of resource management spin-off game where you controlled a large group, or network, of thieves and other underworld type people such as hackers and thugs etc, just judging by the name. And you would send them on individual missions to gain rewards and new recruits to beef up your network. I'm imagining something similar to the Brotherhood aspect of Assassin's Creed where you could send other assassin's in your brotherhood on contracts to bring in extra revenue and take the Templars down a couple of pegs at the same time.
Or, judging by the top down concept art, it could have been a strategy game where you commanded a group of thieves to take alternating paths and working together to sneak into a target location and steal certain items. But then again, the concept art could just be laid out like blueprints for a HUB map.

I'm not too fond of a gritty/mature rated T Sly game. It really doesn't need it AND making it too gritty will just make the game lose it's essence. What I'm up for, well have our characters go through psychological challenges. Sure, I like the idea of a ''tragic'' death, doesn't mean the game has to be rated T for that. The one character I'd imagine dying is the Panda King IF let's say Clockwerk were to return. His death could give rise to character development for his daughter Jing King.

It's quite an interesting concept for a sly game, but we do need sly out of Egypt & maybe someday Sony will give the word for okay.

Imagine going trough a dark forest in the dead of the night, that leads to this old castle ontop of a cliff. Then you have to climb your way up trough the endless staircases and dangerous castle walls and towers and then you fight Dracula. I think that Network of Thieves unreleased Sly Game is like a spin-off to me. But I think it might be another game not connected to the Original Series like Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters and Jak & Daxter: The Lost Frontier. I really wish Sanzaru makes more Sly Cooper Games including Sly 5, Sly Cooper Remake/Remaster Collection, and Sly Reboot Game with the TV Universe and Spider-Man PS4 Combat Formula.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Sony has a game planned for Sly before or during the release of the show. It would be great advertisement for the show in my opinion. I think it would be odd to just release a tv show whose only following are the old fans of the series. Sly needs new life and a game alongside the show would be a great idea. Like they did with Ratchet. The movie was bad, but it was great advertisement and hype for the game. A reimagined Sly on PS5 I feel would be best to release alongside the show. We already have a remastered collection so another remaster on a new console I don’t think would do the series any good. A sly game or collection reimagined would interest new people to the series to try it out because it would look like a beautiful PS5 game and not an old PS2 game in better HD. If not Sanzaru, Bluepoint Games or Toys For Bob would do an amazing job on a reimagined sly series

Well, even if it's a "small" subject, its still good to see what happens behind the scenes !
When I saw the numbers on the map, I directly thought of Sly 1, with the keys, etc...(edit : someone had the same idea in the video -_-)
For a (ex)game/idea that was planned before or during the development of Thieves in Times, it's a good idea. Just imagine if this game was made back in the day, how Thieves in Time would have been !? No cliffhanger at the end ? Some ancestors have already been visited ? An other style of "animated" cutscenes ? There are too much questions about that and too much stuff to overthink 😂
For example, this whole episode (I'm gonna call it like this, because there are already a boss, areas, ...) happens in an other dimension. The gang do the stuff like usual, recon photos, mission to do the plan, Carmelita (with them already ? It's maybe a bit too much for a "normal"/"realistic" storyline) but, because of the "other" dimension, each one got their double (can be funny for Bentley, Murray, or even Carmelita, but it's going to completly mess up the story) there are already a Cooper, but it can be bad --> link directly to the video on Dark Sly, they try to stop him and have it with them, and fight the real bad guy (aka Mr Mortimer)
Finally travelling back to present day (not our, their present day) and have the events of Thieves in Times happening.
_BREF_ Back to the main subject, the idea of doing a forest is really intrusting, with all the stuff you can put in, and have a other landscape is great !
On the 2nd page, there are these little platform with canons, that reminds me, when we need to liberate Rioichi in Sly 4.
Dr Mortimer, Transilvania, a bat 🤔 that also remind me of Hotel Transilvania, if it was made, maybe some Easter eggs could have be hidden. (Edit : Yes I saw you already think about that)
Nothing more to say, still good to have something new to see on Sly Cooper, and have people still have interest in 2020 ! (even if he still in Egypt lol)

Would have been nice to see, as the Sly Trilogy is not too bad on Vita (besides the 3rd game on a code grrr.) but having it's own like with the Ratchet & Jak PSP games (and Sly never got one of course on PSP) but the Vita not selling well or timing/not enough ideas (or the budget of making both) or something it is sad to see. While Lost Legacy or Golden Abyss for Uncharted or Resistance Retribution/Burning Skies exist they do make some interesting experiences, spinoff/prequel or whatever they fit in.

This is only a hunch, but I think a reason Network of Thieves was cancelled was because the PSVita wasn’t doing well. It wouldn’t be good business strategy to release a game in a series that doesn’t get as much buzz as Uncharted exclusively for a handheld that not a lot of people own.
Well.... The Vita launched in 2011 and Sly 4 was being worked on even before that. If the Vita was poor in terms of sales, why did they ''waste'' time porting Sly 4 on the Vita? Wouldn't that extra time rather be dedicated to a bigger game let's say?

I relating to one of your videos about Carmalita ancestors because one of the pictures in Sly's house looks like a Fox so l wondering if Carmaita loves Sly, she asked Bentley to send her back in time before Sly was born and had a child was sly's father. Sly could of use one of his moves from the Theveious Recacconnes to make him the same age and changes his came, clothing and his ascent. Eventually when he came to red clothing he became Conner Cooper. Then he met Carmalita in the past(my theory) and Sly reveals his real identity. Then they had a child name Sly

Here's my theory this "Network of thieves" my have been A SLY COOPER ONLINE Multiplayer or SLY ONLINE game like players can make there own thief and pick which side Cooper gang? or make your own gang, Three players are the thieves and one is the eye the sky like Bentley and one is the Driver and the muscle . Because "Network of thieves" sounds like and online game. If SLY COOPER ONLINE or SLY ONLINE aka "Network of thieves" Becomes real, they have to make Missions like "the most coins taken or the most safes cracked or 5 players must rob money in a bank or steal in a museum and steal the most or the other team players steal from other teams. If two team are in the same heist they must fight, the team standing steals eveything" THANKS FOR READING
