I don't think it was ever said, but I was under the impression he's the one who brokered the deal between Boltons and the Lannisters. He prob didn't expect the betrayal to go down quite that way though
No, the deal between the Lannisters and Boltons was made by Tywin. Jaime had nothing to do with the betrayal or the Red Wedding.

The first time I watched the red wedding I didn't remember Jaime sending the Lannister's regards, I though that was something off screen, guess I was wrong hahaha.
Yep.. By the end of season 4 I learned that every single line is relevant. Had to rewatch the whole thing again before season 5 aired 😃

Eric you guys were discussing how hard winters are in the North, you should tell Calvin about Moletown since I don't think it is in the show. For those that don't know Moletown by the wall has that name because every building in the town has underground tunnels that lead to the other buildings in town. Once winter hits the town goes into those buildings and tunnels and lives underground the ENTIRE winter.
+Nicholas Cannaday Mole Town is in the show, although the only scene we get from there is of the brothel and they are not book canon, as Gilly never went there.
According to your schedule episode 9 leaves off for the week break. Calvin's gonna be mindfucked for a full week. Excellent. :)

+Tom Machin They will watch alone until they finish season 5, then they will watch it all together season 6, Eric is just with Calvin there so he will not take the ride alone to catch up with the others. I do like how Calvin is really perseptive, he caught a lot of things quickly. I hope later on, Eric introduces him to the books, I am quite sure he would like to read them if he has the chance.
I'm looking forward to Calvin's reaction to Tyrion's trail more than anything.

I really like Eric & calvin the best. Melanie and Aaron are okay, but i prefer Eric and Calvin, their commentary and chemistry is the best.
... I still cant wrap my head around this. She is the mother of three dragons. Now maybe Id make a horrible ruler but I would just totally be like "You want me to release all my slaves and hand the town over to you? Sure. As long as I can pet the dragon once." She has dragons. I have a question... After you're going to complete Game Of Thrones marathon with Calvin and he's going to be caught up is there a chance that both of you will play Game Of Thrones Telltale Game? I think it would be interesting seeing what choices both of you would make and how long both of you would last.
I wish we could hear more of Calvins opinions of the episode rather than Eric just laying everything out there and almost giving things away. Its a lot more interesting hearing Calvins Ideas right or wrong.

+maifonseca I was bored so I did the math, even if they keep doing the 2 episodes a week Calvin will have caught up to the show by mid march and season 6 doesn't start till april 24 so he will be able to be on the live reactions with plenty of time to spare.
+Nicholas Cannaday don't say that, i wanna see these episode already so badly. we all be waiting for these for months now, it's the episode everbody was waiting for, and it is so close. And once it starts all of the shows at once, it will be though to put every show since the are watching a lot and have to work in other things too, so i think it is best to do this now that they are a little bit more free, so they won't be so busy after. But it's also just a suggestion. I will watch it no matter what.

if you guys want to know how destructive dragons are as "engines of war" read up on the field of fire. The first and only time all 3 of the Targaryen dragons were deployed in battle
Compared to last seasons on the show ;))) when balistas can kill them no problem. All the hype of past dragons and seasons of buildup I would find hard to believe Dany with 3 dragons would conquer 1 kingdom let alone all 7. I think they kinda dropped the ball for the sake of not making one main char op, but it sucks in therms of lore and world building.

I have seen this reactions like 5 time, always wonder why nobody notice that the actress who plays Rob's wife is Ooma Chaplin, granddaughter of Charlie Chaplin, maybe it's not important but for me she is pure legacy.

Personally my favourite line up for GoT reactions would be Eric, Shane, Calvin & Melanie if at all possible. I like Aaron but I always found him to be far less knowledgeable about Game of Thrones and just doesn't seems as into the series as the others but maybe that's just me.
Totally agree. Eric, Calvin, Shane would be the best line up. I like Melanie too. I don't care much for Aaron; he seems aloof many times and that shows in the comments he makes.
