I have a lot of hypertonic pelvis floor issues. I’ve had two anal fissures, one healed and a recent one that came back that is almost healed. but has left me with pelvis floor and tailbone pain. My tailbone hurts a lot, especially when I sit too much or slouch in bed. Bending over is the worst! But worst of all is STRESS! Thank you for these videos!

I have been diagnosed with pelvic floor dysfunction by both my colorectal doc and a really good pelvic floor physical therapist who confirmed his diagnosis. She is helping me a lot and a lot of my pain is getting better, but some pain, especially tailbone pain, is still bothering me and lingering. Especially when I sit for too long. Thank you for this video, it made me feel less anxious! Is tailbone pain a common symptom of pelvic floor dysfunction? Tailblobe pain is quite literally a pain in the butt! These videos are so helpful! Thank you!

I had a traumatic fall on my tailbone when I was 8 years old, the pain when I fell was like nothing I had experienced before , I bled snd was in pain when urinating for a few days however had no issues for many many years until I got married and realised I had vaginismus. I soon developed tailbone pain after, which I still have till this day, 10 years later.
No physiotherapist or doctor could figure out what was going on until I met a physiotherapist who suggested I see a women's health physio focusing on the pelvic floor muscles which finally started to make sense to me

Tender to touch, pain during sitting to standing, walking, and I'd have to bend my body forward most of the time to avoid, I also occasionally feel feverish. My main suspect so far is pilonidal cyst infection, initially I excluded it since I have no pus or abscess leaking, and it looks more like a bruise swelling instead of air or water filled sac. I fell on my tailbone Dec 2022. I believe it was fractured. Had lots of pain. Then in march 2023, i was at PT, a d they had me lay prone with a pillow supporting my hips, lift my legs behind me, and with legs stuck together, wag them side to side like a pendulum.... The exercise is similar to a reverse glute leg lift. I felt tons of pressure in my tailbone area and a grinding sensation....that same day, my pelvic floor went into seize mode.....i felt nerve pain shooting all over my body, followed by spasms in the anus and vagina and extreme pressure in the anus...i couldn't pee for over 20 hours. My adductors tightened badly,....i had charlie horse after charlie horse.....Then bartholin's cysts formed. Fast forward, oct 2023, i dont sit...i stand sll the time now or side sit...i now have pain that resembles Pudental neuralgia, piriformis, levator ani syndrome, obturator dysfunction, sacral plexus dysfunction,...i just had a second case of bartholin's cysts and peed over 20 times yesterday....my pelvic floor is crazy tight. My bladder spasms like crazy. Like it goes into convulsions....im doing internal PT, but im afraid its so bad its permanent...what did that PT exercise do to my coccyx? Wag it lateral? Why would that cause things to ge haywire? Your advice would be greatly appreciated.

I wouldn't say this was the most helpful video, because it seems to default to lead generation.
For me, I remember the day it started a couple weeks ago, but I wasn't doing anything that would be considered one of the typical ways that aligns with tailbone pain happening; no pregnancy, no falling/injury, didn't have anything specific surrounding my butt or tailbone area. I bent down to pick something up one afternoon & felt a little pinch sensation, but it didn't actually become an issue until a little later, where it developed into more & I was completely thrown off! Walking up stairs is uncomfortable. As well as sitting & standing. I can't carry anything too heavy, or be walking around for too long. If I'm out running errands, it feel like the weight of the world is lifted off my shoulders (& my tailbone) when I get back into my car & sit down. I ice it with an ice roller ball/massager & do other massage techniques with my hands, daily. Its just the weirdest sort of pain I've ever had, because there's nothing thats happened that would be an obvious, "oh thats why" reasoning...
