This movie is so good. Chang’e is an amazing rapper, and singer. She is originally Phillipa Soo, if you were wondering. I love the song Ultrluminary, and the Hey boy song in this movie. I listen to that ping pong scene on repeat. AND ultraluminary.
This movie really highlights the motions of grief and having a hard time moving on. Grief is hard and devastating, and it could be hard to move past that. Fei is relatable and we do see what she goes through considering that kids have a hard time with grief more than adults. And I can see why she finds her stepbrother annoying, I find him annoying too.
i loved how it was seeing someone else in grief and unable to move on that was able to reach chang'e and in helping fei fei to move on it helped her to be open to what fei fei told her in response to her own grief. the well meaning ones werent able to help until after they had both started to realise and heal
I really like her bunny *bungee" truly speaking I watched this movie just for the bunny.....but eventually felt in love with the movie in the end .....very underrated movie but explains the pain of losing loved ones 2 times (one the girl's mother nd other houyi) the best part I like here is where both of them tries to heal eachother from the pain they got nd moves on ..... that's the live's nature KEEP MOVING ON,TIME DOESN'T WAIT FOR ANYONE
I so wish I could watch this film! It's partially that my sister is monopolizing the whole Netflix resource here at home... plus, she doesn't like it when people burst into her room. Also, maybe watching this film might help with her bad moods... just a wish, really, but it could help.
You know, after watching this movie, I wrote a crossover of Abominable and Over the Moon, so as not to go into detail, I'll just mention the key points of my story... - After the death of his mother, Fei Fei and his father decided to move from Yanshi City to live in Shanghai. - Fei Fei's father would not be engaged to Mrs. Zhong, but to Mei, Yi's mother, because after sharing sad moments, they would feel that they had loved again. - The fact of knowing that they would be sisters would affect both Yi and Fei Fei, because, unlike what happened in the movie Over the Moon (where, while Chin was happy to have a sister, Fei Fei did not want Chin to be her brother), neither of them would be happy to want to be sisters. - Yi and Fei Fei would have a discussion in which they would say the following Yi: You are not my sister!. Fei Fei: At least I agree on that, You will never be my sister!. - When Yi and Fei Fei met Everest, they both decided to make a truce to leave their mutual anger to help the yeti return to his home. - Fei Fei would have planned to make the rocket to the Moon, but would have to postpone that plan because of Everest. - When Yi's violin broke, Fei Fei went to talk to her, instead of Jin, Yi would share the moments he spent with his father while Fei Fei, with nostalgia, shared his moments with his mother and how she told him the story. story of the goddess of the moon, and they would both realize that they could make it work to have a sisterly relationship. - At that point, Fei Fei would have finally put the past behind her and decided not to continue her plan to go to the Moon. - In the scene on the bridge, where Yi fought Doctor Zara to prevent her from electrocuting Everest, Fei Fei would have joined the fight yelling "Get away from my sister". - And the film would end with the wedding of Fei Fei's father and Yi's mother. -Yi and Fei Fei were consolidated as official sisters; Yi was the eldest and Fei Fei the youngest (Yi is 15 years old, Fei Fei is 13 years old). - Fei Fei would continue to have Bungee, even Yi caressed her sister's bunny. - Fei Fei likes to listen to the melody of her sister's violin. - And the last scene after the credits is that of Yi and Fei Fei with their new family watching the Leshan Buddha. In conclusion: I gave Fei Fei a happier ending than she already has.

Second thing I’ve seen that its theme is very distinctly grief and needing to move on from death

Yeah I know
Lol same
Why??
I'm not cryin' btw
Bro what is the point of calling it “full ending” if you are just gonna skip through half of the video.😒
Well this sequence takes like 30-45 minutes to be complete. That’s half the movie. They just focused on the highlights
Yeah I commented this so long ago I’m not sure what I was trying to say, sorry😂😂😅
@@Cam_CamX 😂😂😂 it’s okay
it took me this long to realize that chang'e actually spells out change- and it has a huge correlation with the movie. im in awe
A happy little coincidence.
Her name was "Chang'e" long before the West had an opportunity to offer a Postmodern pronunciation.
