- TODAY I reminisce on my experience as Brawl Olimar, an account I made to join in on a trend on Twitter where me and some other people made accounts pretending to be characters from Super Smash Bros Brawl. The whole trend was a ton of fun and I loved being apart of it, hope you enjoy my short retelling as well as featuring a short interview from Brawl Meta Knight.

smash parody my beloved, loved interacting and talking with the other accounts, taking the role of ultimate ryu just to socialize with the people who inspired me to get over my social anxiety and make new friends, it really helped and really glad some people decided to stay and just hang around to talk, and significantly gratefully for being accepted within the overall smashtwt community.

No joke this whole parody trend did wonders for my self-confidence and I feel like I've really made a few decent internet friends through it (Ult Ganon and I've been playing some UMVC3) so yeah. Cool vid and I ain't gonna stop posting anytime soon, maybe one day we can see another Brawlvelution revival
making friends was def one my favourite parts, i talk to dante like every week now about chainsaw man new chapters LOL, maybe one day we will return even better....
Brawl Ike 2 here, just wanted to stop by and say that the trend was pretty much started by me and Ike 1. We had a bit on discord where we all set our profile pics as Brawl Ike and went from server to server spamming "I fight for my friends" that we ended up taking to twitter and from there I think Ike 1 found meta knight and sonic and maybe a few others and that's what started the GC on twitter. It was like the greatest trend in history, absolutely unforgettable.

Ultimate Ike here (you probably don’t know me LMAO), great video! I met a lot of cool people and made some friends along the way! Ik I wasn’t apart of the whole smash parody thing until ultimate started to invade but it was an overall good and funny time.

Brawl Ganondorf/Ult Isabelle here, nice video! I had a lot of fun beefing with other brawl accounts and shitting on mutliversus, and I’m glad everyone could do it in good fun and didn’t take it too far. I met a lot of awesome people and even made some friends through not just the brawl accounts, but the ultimate ones too. Also dude thanks for clearing up the reason why your banner was a Ford truck I had no idea back then LMAO

i agree though !! it was alot of fun not only making friends with other brawl accounts but also seeing people who loved the trend and how funny they thought it was, def felt very good to be apart of something that made so many people happy

HI, I am someone who first got started in the Parody Twitter space by basically watching you guys in my main and interacting from you all for a bit. After a while, Steve Ultimate got me in, and. I saw the abundance of Smash characters and rather than deciding to go for one of the bunch, I grabbed Osaka as a character that I really liked. Now days she's still active but I've focused more on another account. But overall. Seeing the raise, Peak and Downfall of Smash Parody Twitter, was. Such a piece of media I am glad I was there to watch, join and later see how it was put to rest.

as brawl kirby I was incredibly caught up with life at the time so the most I could do was lurk and sometimes make a quip at the others but it was so fun to watch and experience

Smash 64 Jigglypuff here, I love Smash 64 and I love this video. Having a community to talk to was honestly cool as fuck and I spent a lot of time in the Smash Universe Discord server. I definitely met a lot of people that I would've never met otherwise and it was really fun 🩷
