- FINALLY! WE FINISHED THE SERIES AFTER SO LONG. A lot of it had to do with schedules and the editors' schedule as well but we got this out finally, and honestly it was worth it because this entire series was a banger.

Oh totally. Tabuu on intense is just absolutely lethal. One shot for all his moves except like one. Truly the Dark Souls of SSB.

@@ninkstheultimate3376 Subspace Emissary Hard onwards is an instant-kill (well, maybe not always on Hard in Subspace... and for sure in Boss Battles is not an instant-kill, but Very Hard and Intense for sure it is both in Subspace and Boss Battles), literally is to learn the timing for the spot-dodge.

@@PikangsFutaba Considering that to make matters worse: that's the only way to obtain bosses as trophies because you gotta push through the gauntlet of enemies (I find Meta Ridley the hardest not only the time limit, but also on a mobile ship as you easily miss grabbing it).

Sonic really showed up right at the end, went “yeah! I’m hot stuff!” and (probably cannonically) beat the stuffing out of Tabuu in the story

I mean he probably could. Sonic Frontiers really just casually made Sonic one of the most canonically powerful characters in the whome Smash Roster. I mean we all knew his speed was something else but getting to actually witness Super Sonic punching the shit out of the Titans and getting physical in ways he never had to before against foes that make Perfect Dark Gaia look like the Egg Hornet on top of the DLC at long last boosting him to Super Sonic 2. I don’t think that Sonic saying he gets more powerful by the second in Forces was a dub mistranslation anymore.
@@zigslotheon Oh he most certainly could, even using the Sonic games before Brawl only. I've got a Shadow The Hedgehog Chao pfp for hecks sake, I'd know. But you're also just given the option to not select him for the final battle so really you can say anybody did it, as seen in the vid lol.
@@zigslotheon hell, in 06 (which was the most recent sonic game when brawl came out) Sonic was fresh off killing a god which wiped out all of time and every single dimension at once just by waking up. Sonic’s always been one of the most powerful smash characters, Frontiers just made it super obvious by having him literally throwing hands and barely batting an eye at multiple planet buster threats over the course of a single game.
Meanwhile Sephiroth does the exact same thing. :P
It’s always been funny how sonic is nowhere to be seen throughout the entire story, but then when everyone is facing off against the final boss he just shows up out of nowhere and called dibs on the first hit

Repressed indeed. But I HAVE bested Tabuu on intense and even the boss rush on very hard. Sadly shortly afterwards, a cousin ruined the disc before I could re-explore the campaign areas for the hidden characters to add them to the great maze roster

I envisioned the Wario cutscene with Brent (Luigi), Nick (Dedede) and Vern (Ness) ganged up on Sophist (Wario) and actually lost it it LMAO
The sophist outro song at the final battle fits surprisingly well
Weight of Life does hit fuckin hard
Weight of Life is an insanely good song. Plus, it is used in-game as a cinematic climax-type song so it works very well for moments like that

Okay so about the Dedede scene in the beginning:
Basically what happened was Dedede foresaw the events of Tabuu and the whole turning people into trophies thing. Because of this, Dedede created a brooch which revives anybody turned into a trophy after a set period of time (a smart move on Dedede’s part). He had 4 of these which he gave to Luigi, Ness, himself, and either Peach or Zelda (depending on your choices throughout the game). The one on Peach/Zelda falls off when Bowser escapes with one of them (again, dependent on your choices) later in the game. Kirby eats the fallen brooch which is how he was able to be revived after being turned into a trophy.
Hope this clears some stuff up! Great video, congratulations! :D

Was not expecting to get goosebumps from a Sophist video today, and yet here we are.
I remember fighting intense Tabuu. I got the trophy item near the end of the fight and finished Tabuu off with it, getting a trophy never felt so good.
Ah yes, the series that pit our heroes Sophist and Nick together as allies through the harrowing halls of -hell- the subspace emissary, has finally come to a satisfying conclusion.
Thank you for all the entertainment you keep pumping out Soph! (And also Nick too but we at the Sophisticated Society will not give him that satisfaction MWAHAHAHA)

Man, I wish Tabuu was the last Ultimate fighter. Don't get me wrong, it's incredible that Sora got in, but I would have popped off if my blue boy was playable.

the AI of this game is a savage, it kills you then taunts all the time, for odd reasons they removed it in later entries lol

I always love to style on Tabuu even on intense difficulty by getting hit by his attacks while using moves with super armour the most obvious being Olimar’s down special.
Maybe it's the editing, the difficulty or the fact I'm not the one playing, but the Tabuu fight is way cooler than I remember it being

I got an idea for a Mario Party game: Do the Opposite!
You and your partner must do the opposite of the opposing team.
For example: One team buys an item you can’t buy an item for that turn. Same with stars, picking left or right, etc.
Mini games are a free for all though.

after finishing story mode you can find jigglypuff, wolf and toon link in the maze (they're hidden tho) they get a whole intro cutscene
