always wanted a cat or dog or both(ferret)
but never ever crossed my mind that reptiles will become fav o mine. always though they same and plain and boring(although i myself not active would be more appreciate of some chill lazy being back then) boy i was wrong, friends gave me budgie(not so reptile, but dinosaurs too! and i had almost same views about them)), long story short, they may be same ish nad even plain and boring, but they do have personalities, and sometimes so much different from their species whatsoever ! (also RUclips pets etc become so wide you can learn so much !)

I had ferrets when I was younger and they are definitely a cross between cats and dogs and it's a wild ride with them. I think people coming into this expecting to have a relationship with them like they do with their dog are going to find them boring. These guys do for sure have their own personalities but they're never going to love you and serve you the way a dog would.
But that's what is so great about them. They are so independent and you have to earn every inch of trust and respect from them. When these guys bring food back up to my shoulder because they know I am a safe perch to dine from, I feel honored.
