I don't see how Brachinosaur wasn't popular. I mean, it's such an awe inspiration dino and i don't think any zoo in the world would pass up an opportunity to have one or two on their grounds.
That makes more sense. Especially since they had no data on guest opinions when the park never opened, and even if they did I tend to doubt that either animals would be in the bottom of the list. Makes more sense that the Brachiosaurus was too big and expensive, while Velociraptors were too dangerous and unpredictable. Both could end up causing potentially major issues.
Jurassic Park surprisingly has the most frightening lore than I ever could expect. Like holy crap is it dark and scary, and not just from nature, but from humanity as well. Kinda makes us look like sick and depraved of humbleness would be gods sometimes.
Yeah the dinosaurs did nothing wrong the carnivores were hunting for survival not for fun or pleasure like the indominus rex sorpius rex and the indoraptor
This series has just gotten so dark since we first landed on Sorna. This operation along with the pillaging of Sorna and Nublar seems to further the quote “extinct animals have no rights”
Barabel22 and guess what I don't care it's not mentioned in the films so why should I consider it canon it's just a pointless excuse to try to make Fallen Kingdom more important.
That scene with the lone brachiosaur on the dock broke my heart, I broke down crying my eyes out because of how sad it was, I'm not one to cry very often but animals suffering and dying does it.
I don’t think Hammond for example would want to harm the Brachiosaurus, but any of the more cruel, money driven characters I could see them doing it in a heartbeat. I saw the newest movie yesterday and I can not stop thinking about “that scene” I don’t know what else to call it not to spoil it for people. Very sad, but also really good filmmaking. When someone can’t get a scene out of their head a day or days after seeing a movie you made an impact in some way and every artist of any kind wants to leave a lasting impression. I cried in the theater, ruined my makeup. I think that specific breed was chosen on purpose because for the 30s and 40s crowd, it was part of the first magic moment in the movie when we were kids. You just sat there in your seat and it was like magic was happening there was a dinosaur on the screen and it looked so real and the scene was scored so well. It left lasting, positive childhood memories. So I think they knew it would tug at the heart strings the most to pick that particular type of dinosaur. Such a beautiful creature with no desire to harm anyone and it was like your childhood moment got crushed. It came full circle. It’s like the bad guys didn’t care about that specific one because it had nothing to offer them which is terrible, but those same people also don’t value human life so we can’t put anything past them. Brilliant film, but I think I will always cry at that part.
OmegaFreelacer318 Definitely, you could tell by the second film everything that happened kind of changed Hammond into a better person. But Ludlow had his own agenda filled with greed. And in later films there are other characters with one track minds who only care about war, money etc. and treat the dinosaurs like objects instead of animals.
Madison MakeupnMacabre If anything, it was probably Ludlow once again throwing his uncle under the bus by organizing Operation Clean Sweep. Also, I think Hammonf didn't want the animals harmed even before the Nublar incident, sternly and quickly refusing to put the lysine contingency into effect when it was suggested by Muldoon stating, "Thay is absolutely out of the question!"
"That scene" had people sobbing in the theater I was at too. The way you described as "your childhood moment got crushed" hit the nail right on the head. Some people are disputing how good JW II was, but that's the first time in my life I've seen people cry during a JP/JW movie. Damn good directing, scoring and writing if you ask me.
Wow it's surprising to hear that the Brachiosaurs were unpopular! Thanks for an awesome video and bringing to light a dark but interesting part of the JP lore!
Love the lore and all these little pieces that come together to form one amazing story that means so much to fans of this series like me. Thanks for the great content Klayton! Always enjoy watching your videos! Please keep it up! Can't wait for your spoiler reveiw for Fallen Kingdom. Really loved your recent reveiws of each installment in the franchise!
Wow, cool to see they were making in world websites back around TLW. Glad they didn't go through with it in world, especially Hammond. Although Klayton, I know exactly why you made this video, and it wounds me ever so.
This is so sad, the Braciosaurus is actually one of my top favorites, and I cried in the cinema at its.. (SPOILERS!) Death while clouded in the deadly smoke, as it was trying to escape the island. It was one of the most heartbreaking moments I've seen in a Jurassic movie. I still LOVED Fallen Kingdom though, it was done so well. I remember the theories (yours included) about Rexy going down with her kingdom, but in the end it makes sense it was the Brachiosaurus, because in the end, she was also a type of Queen. Because SHE was the first dinosaur the main characters see when arriving in Jurassic Park, and she's the first dinosaur the viewers see clearly (the Big One being mostly hidden in shadows and flashing lights at the beginning) It honestly makes perfect sense for it to be the Braciosaurus to be the one to go down with the Fallen Kingdom
THEy would, but not after only ten years of the park being open. Plus, in a park, the things we love about the dinosaurs wouldn't be seen. For example, the stegosaur wouldn't use it's spikes because there is nothing to hit them with, so now it's a giant cow spending it's whole life eating.
Allen1357 1 Not necessarily, the Stegosaurus could swing it at each other, Jurassic World did show that the herbivores weren't above infighting (there's a scene where two parasaurs are fighting in the backround)
Oh no this remains me of that scene in fallen kingdom that was sad I will not spoil it to no one heres one hint that I will only give you guys it involved a brachiosaurus oh k that's it also great video klaytion.
So interesting, I love hearing about all this deeper lore to this franchise. It really does go to show that its a lot more than just making a park full of dinosaurs, have them break out and then eat some people but not others. I really wish more of the general public could see it this way too but hey, everyone's entitled to like whatever they wanna like. Thanks again for the awesome video Klayton!
After Jurassic World 2015 Me “I never want to see a brachy ever die again!” After seeing Fallen Kingdom 2018 Me “Damn you Colin Trevorrow!!” I loved Fallen Kingdom sooo goood!!
Klayton Fioriti Ah that makes a little more sense. I could understand how "big cows" could get old pretty fast. That and visitors would probably never be allowed to get up close and personal with them.
AtomicKaiser193 ah yeah I remember that. That was Jurassic World though. They probably had enough of experience to handle the Brachiosaurs at that point considering Jurassic World was open for about 8-10 years.
except he wouldn't, I remember he was so stingy about how they realized an Othneila back into it's enclosure so and animal as big and as profitable as a brachi no Hammond could.
I love these pieces of information being released by the DPG website, also Klayton I saw fallen kingdom last night (Friday June 22nd in case you read this in the future) and I loved it!
That one scene in FK with the apatosaurus was so sad, I don't want to spoil it, that movie was dope I loved the scenes where the shots from the original were recreated
My 10 year old daughter is obsessed with Jurassic Park/World and was a complete sobbing mess in that scene, I’ve never seen her cry like that in a movie except for when she watches Red Dog
Man watching FallenKingdom was awesome! But seeing the Brachiosaurus calling for help and was trying to escape the volcano was really sad and i had some tears on my face when it stand up on its legs and tryed to escape the gas.
Whether or not "Clean Sweep" was a success, is not stated by Ludlow in the deleted scene. Just how much it costed. The operation was more likely called off right after the purchases and pay-offs and the money was never refunded. Keep in mind: Rexy was still alive in 2015, so my guess is that Ludlow is piling it on in the boardroom, so that they have yet another reason to fire John Hammond, who would NEVER approve of this operation.
Such timing since I just got back from seeing JWFK and absolutely loved the film. I'm glad this plan was ultimately scrapped especially after witnessing Fallen Kingdom's particular scene which ripped my heart out. I look forward to watching your spoiler review of Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom.
All I can think about are Brachiasaurs after seeing Fallen Kingdom last night. I find it rather fitting you’d post this right after the launch of the movie. Rest assured, once I unlock them in the game, I’ll be filling my Jurassic World Evolution parks with these gentle giants.
I remember this! Been ages since I explored that site after getting linked to it by a friend. Was quite a bit there for a very simple site, though a lot of it was a bit odd. Still very nice to see it get acknowledged and officallymade canon. Makes it probably one of the darkest bits of movie canon lore, given it involes making chemical weapons.
Warning spoilers Speaking of brachiosaurus, it was very depressing to see that dinosaur’s death in fallen kingdom. RIP brachiosaurus. You deserved to better.
FFE: Family friendly entertainment Actually it was a brachiosaurus. You can tell as it is seen at the docks before it dies when Claire, Owen and franklin were leaving the island.

I had to cry when I finally saw JW:FK last night. Jaw dropping, intensely sitting on the edge of my seat and getting chills from every action filled scene.😵😵 I'm waiting for JW3
Corporations who think they're too expensive, too unpopular, or even extremely dangerous to keep alive and think it would be much easier to simply get rid of them.
Also Klayton I finally saw the Fallen Kingdom Movie and I got to say that I absolutely loved it (I'm from the USA). I only have a couple minor problems (+ 1 Major Issue) with it but I overall had a great experience with it. Can't wait to hear your Spoiler Review on the movie sooner or later. Keep up the good work, I'm glad I found your channel to learn & explore more about the Jurassic Park Franchise.
At the risk of sounding like Nick VanOwen I don’t like how anyone can just casually bring up the extinction of a newly resurrected species as a corporate decision.
When the park was destroyed and shit down sounds like ingen4 would do in a dying heart beat, i love it when you add the creepy Terrified spooky haunted music in this Klayton Fioriti it wants you think more of the mystery Special ops of Ingen

I swear I'm always an hour behind.
I don't see how Brachinosaur wasn't popular. I mean, it's such an awe inspiration dino and i don't think any zoo in the world would pass up an opportunity to have one or two on their grounds.
I think when they said popular, they meant for the company. As in it wasn't popular because it was too expensive to take care of
That makes more sense.
That makes sense.
True, I reckon one Brach could eat a whole forest by itself then a herd of elephants.
James Chandler I feel like they would closely resemble cows in the sense that they chew cud so there's 6-8 hours where they're not exactly eating
I think I speak for everyone here when I say the absolute last thing I ever want to see is a Brachiosaurus die...again.
Laserbeak316 Not for me.
Yeah we already kinda saw that in fallen kingdom
Don't want another repeat
Laserbeak316 y e s
Same. 😭💔
Great, now I can't stop thinking about that scene in Fallen Kingdom, I broke down in tears seeing that.
Adam. C same :/
Me too :(
Adam. C Same, couldn't hold off
Adam. C I have never felt so sad in a JP film until that scene. Probably going to go down as one of the most memorable scenes in the series.
Same. The tear jerker worked. I was like, “no, my childhood!”
Jurassic Park surprisingly has the most frightening lore than I ever could expect. Like holy crap is it dark and scary, and not just from nature, but from humanity as well. Kinda makes us look like sick and depraved of humbleness would be gods sometimes.
LPTV And that was the whole point. People are rotten. Greedy, cruel and exploitative.
IMO humans are the most dangerous species in the Jurassic Park universe simply due to their hubris and lack of empathy.
I mean... We kinda are?
Yeah the dinosaurs did nothing wrong the carnivores were hunting for survival not for fun or pleasure like the indominus rex sorpius rex and the indoraptor
This series has just gotten so dark since we first landed on Sorna. This operation along with the pillaging of Sorna and Nublar seems to further the quote “extinct animals have no rights”
Who pillaged Sorna and what happened to the Sorna dinos?
brav0wing I believe from reading the DPG Website, that they got moved to Nublar as assets for Jurassic World.
Barabel22 which I consider non canon.
Bennett Fender Well, it’s not. It’s officially Canon in the JP series.
Barabel22 and guess what I don't care it's not mentioned in the films so why should I consider it canon it's just a pointless excuse to try to make Fallen Kingdom more important.
I don't even want to think about a Brachy dying... not again at least
Mapo King that shit was sad
Wait did you see Fallen kingdom and know what scene ?
Abraham Torres "That scene" was the main topic on the car ride home
Mapo King RIP forgotten Brachio
Mapo King mines too, and all today
I can't believe InGen would try to kill the Brachiosaurs, they're beautiful animals! And it's even more sad that none were saved in Fallen Kingdom.
I'm sure the mad scientist Henry Wu can cook up some more if he wanted to. Going to be interesting to see how JW3 plays out.
because cloned animals Brought back from death has no rights it seems. atleast not to ingen
The dna was saved ! Thank God they didn't have the guts to terminate the brachiosaur

Right
@@adamc_vp77 Not so fun fact: The brachiosaurus we see when the boat is departing is the origonal one we see in 1993
Not sure why the Brachiosaurs would need to be killed off...I mean come on, look at it! Who WOULDN'T wanna stand in the presence of one?!
imagine it's medical bills
I would want to befriend and coexist with the dinosaurs because they are awesome 👌
And beautiful too
I would love to be with it for one year to build a home on it
I don’t think Hammond for example would want to harm the Brachiosaurus, but any of the more cruel, money driven characters I could see them doing it in a heartbeat. Holy crap that's dark. And to the Brachiosaurus... those guys were my favorites!!
The Brachiosaurus were problematic? Why? Were they just breaking the fences by walking through them or something?

Jakolay69 xD unfortunately, they aren't majestic. I mean, they would be, were their DNA pure, but the DNA isn't. At least, that is my opinion
Corporations who think they're too expensive, too unpopular, or even extremely dangerous to keep alive and think it would be much easier to simply get rid of them.
A volcano sadly.
Well, to say the least I can say that they succeeded.
Doesn't surprise me at all that InGen or any other such company would have such a measure in place.
Please do videos on other parts of that old website! It sounds fascinating!
More to come! :D
Don't mind me, just having PTSD flashbacks regarding Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom. That poor Brachy...
That Brachiosaurus scene in Fallen Kingdom scarred me it was brilliant 😭💖
The Brachiosaurus is like a Giant Friendly Majestic Elephant! I find it absurd that Hammond & InGen were going through with it.
The real tear jerker was the destruction of the island
When the park was destroyed and shit down sounds like ingen4 would do in a dying heart beat, i love it when you add the creepy Terrified spooky haunted music in this Klayton Fioriti it wants you think more of the mystery Special ops of Ingen
Your video's are always so amusing
I'm surprised people didn't like the Brachiosaurus. Those were adorable!!
this was very very very interesting
This is probably the sickest thing that InGen has done.
