I remember in August 2020 (around 4k - 10k subscribers) I commented on dr. Daniel Sugai video about my skincare regimen (salicylic acid cleanser, ceramides moisturizer and zinc oxide based sunscreen) and no longer using 10 step korean skincare then he replied with “now it’s perfectly by adding the retinoid. your skin will thank you in the long run for adding retinoid) so, the next week I bought otc retinol & 3 months later I changed it to retinoid acid prescription strength (0.25% tretinoin) and viola I received a lot of compliments about how smooth and healthy my skin are! so I want to say, thank you so much dr. daniel for suggesting & assuring me to using retinoid acids. Great information! I personally love the Olay retinol, I use the Olay Retinol Max and it is so far the only retinol cream i have tried that doesn’t irritate and makes my skin feel so soft. I used to budget for more expensive Macy’s brands like Shiseido or Lancome but this Olay cream outperforms them all… so it’s the only cream I use at night🥰
Vanicream has great face wash as well. Cerave makes my skin burn. I can't wait to try your Vit C recommendation!TY💜👑

My favorite Target face product is Naturium Vitamin C Complex Serum. Very informative video. I like to buy at the store rather than online.
I love the Vanicream light face moisturiser. Its hard to get as I have only one source online, its not available here in Australia but I manage to get it from iHerb (when its not sold out!). He says, "Us people who are getting older," LOL - I'm in my 50s. I wish I knew what I know now in my 30s. I prefer a stronger SPF than 30 or 32, 50+ for my type 1-2 Fitzpatrick skin type. Even then I get sunburnt in no time :(

Just wondering what you think of The Inkey List? I have been using their cleansing balm, peptide cream, and water lotion. They work really well for me since I have really sensitive skin. Just wondering what else from their line I should try.
Really enjoying the Olay Retinol for the in between days from my tret! With the winter days so dark and short in Seattle is SPF really needed if we go to work and come home in the dark or just WFH and don’t get outside during daylight on these winter days?

Wow just starting watching your channel and catching up on them. I appreciate that you address all skin types. As an over 60 I am using La Roche Posay and like them. I have combo/oily skin which tends to be sensitive to Vitamin C and Retinol. Which of the Vitamin C and Retinol products you have used in your videos do you recommend that is gentle enough for a start.

Hi Dr. Daniel, should I apply my retinol Serum before or after my eye cream? I have the Acne foam cleanser and use that at night. I also use CeraVe Skin Renewing Retinol Serum along with ROC Multi Correxion eye cream which contains hyaluronic acid and peptides and then followed by the Daily Facial Moisturizer by Vanicream that you mentioned.

The CeraVe skin renewing vitamin c serum has denatured alcohol in it isn't that drying to the skin? Can you recommend a fragrance free vitamin c serum from the drugstore at a affordable price? I have normal skin slightly oily in the t- zone.
