- In this video we wrap the EGR Fender Flares Gloss Black to match the theme of the current truck wrap. Lots of mods help transform the AT4. Good job... looks great....wish we didn't have such strict regulations in germany...i also own and drive a GMC AT4 ...every change hast to be approved ...Light, rims, attachments. The GMC is rare, so it's very difficult to get any accessories. My AT4 is 4 years old and i havent seen an other one.

Don; fellow Canadian here. Truck looks beautiful, definitely a real head turner. Like the new wheels much better than previous ones. Just my opinion. Not sure of the wheel spacers though….. and know I haven’t watched any tik tok or Instagram videos……lol. Keep up the good work bro 👍

I like the gloss black wheels with the gloss black wrap the best. They should complement not compete. The gold is a good accent, too much and and it starts looking gaudy.

Great look and stance! I only see one big glaring OEM factory looking eyesore left on the AT4 that needs to be donslife'd... (you're a verb now) besides the fog lights and tail lights of course! And although Mrs DL seems like a wonderful lady, if she was hosting this channel your family would be so sick of counting all the money that millions of subscribers bring! For the sake of your families free time I would just keep yourself in the starring roll 😅. All in good fun, great video as usual - I had to modify my front wheel wells for 34.1" nitto's and one of your tweaks will help me go back and gain some clearance, so thanks!

Love it!!! My .02 (as If it mattered), WAY better then before. Loved the white, the other wheels were not my thing, but thiis entire transformation is incredible! I’ve got the 2023 AT4X with MANY of the same mods (minus any wraps), and this is the first AT4 that I’d “consider” trading for. Keep up the great work/vids. Very cool to see Mrs. Donslife involved also!
I did the PutCo in grille as well, “Virtual Blade” w/remote and love it! Just bought the same bed cover to replace the one that flips open in 4-sections.

You'll see more collaboration with Mrs DL. She is using a CRICUT machine and one of the things it can do is cut out vinyl perfectly for various projects.

LOVE the video and the looks. But, TBH, I am not a fan of wheel spacers. Instead, I went with offset wheels (Fuel) with 1" more poke. The wheels actually weigh less than stock, oversized tires are only 3 lbs heavier each. So, no difference is sprung weight. So many guys have crazy aggressive tires, crazy spacers, and have front end problems due to improper installation, added weight, and excessive tire wear and rubbing. All good tho, it is their money/truck. I still LOVE the beefy wide shoulder look for trucks. I wouldn't mind another 1/2" to 3/4" more poke on mine.

Truck looks great!! How long could you leave the wrap on and not damage the paint job? I saw where you said you will go back to white. I have a grey 2023 trail boss and would like to wrap the roof and door pillars glossy back as well.
You can keep a good wrap on for years. The worst that can happen is glue residue that is annoying to clean off after. Quality vinyl usually won’t leave residue or very little.
I haven’t damaged paint yet. I have heard of people with budget repainted panels that may peel when a wrap is taken off them. It might have more to do with paint not being fully cured or shortcuts with prep

Thanks and the EGR products look great and just need to be painted to match my Satin Steel paint color. I feel like matching the paint is the only way to make any new FF look good on an AT4. GMC accessories does offer painted OEM FF but of course they don’t have my color option but they do offer a primer one so i may get that one and have it painted. Thanks again!

The style of the gold wheels does not appeal to me at all. They’re too closed off and I think they look too much like those steel wheels that everyone uses with winter tires. Lol
I think subscribing to the Donslife channel ought to come with a warning if you own a 1500 AT4. Something like… WARNING your truck mod work load is about to drastically increase if you subscribe… 😂😂😂😂
I found the channel after buying my 2023 Sierra 1500 AT4 Duramax.
I really enjoy Don’s sarcastic narration and his detailed description of how he goes about each mod. One thing is certain… if you find a mod on Don’s channel its passed his seal of approval.
I suggest Don’t create a video sharing a bit more about his off camara life and how he came to create his channel.
I think the latest color scheme of Don’s AT4 is the bomb. I’d love to have mine wrapped in the Kaki Green color and the wrapped fender flares was the missing touch.
The spaced wheels look sharp and I had heard before 34 inch tires are a better choice for these 1500 AT4s and you showed why... less trimming to get them to fit.
Unless I missed something Don's AT4 is not lifted. It has the rear air bags and the 1 inch front lift provided by the Bilstein shock upgrade. Thats something to keep in mind... we can get this look without purposely lifting the truck 2 or more additional inches.
Yes... including family in your videos would boost the channel's appeal.
Lastly... keep up the good work and showing us your trademark attention to detail.
Since wheel offset is always difficult please tell us what would have been the wheel offset needed to not use the spacers? What is the new wheel size...20x9?

Hey Don, I can’t get those brink rims but I’m looking at rims with either a 0 or 20 offset for my 24 AT4. With a basically factory tire of 275-70R18(general grabber atx) is there much poke? I want the set up to be flush without trashing the paint. Thanks.

From the way you torqued from 120 to 140, it doesn't look like like much difference. Did you notice any tightening/rotation of the lug nuts before being torqued while doing that? Also, didn't think I'd like the wrap color, but that is awesome!!!
The editing didn’t show the rotation from 120 to 140, but every lug had some. I thought it would be boring to watch and make the video too long.
Are they the same tires 285 60 R20 that you use in the bronze wheels ?
Same tires yes but the offset and spacers push them out farther than the bronze wheels. Created a little rubbing

Do You have 1 inch level in the front with the bilstein shocks ?
Just the 1” lift from the front Bilsteins. A level will definitely give you more clearance

I ordered them from the US and picked them up at a UPS store across the border in Great Falls. The UPS store only charges $5-$10 per box to hold for a couple weeks. You just out your name with their UPS store address and it couldn’t be simpler. The wife and I did some shopping there too and made a trip out of it

You should black out the 4 on the AT4 emblems. The red just doesn’t match this truck set up. Beautiful truck tho!
There is not a red ‘4’ on the truck. Even the tow hooks are bronze and not red
Don, do you know that wheel spacers are in the top 5 worst mods you can add to your truck ? It changes front end wheel alignment and most of all accelerates wheel bearing wear and tear.

You've been watching too many click bait RUclips videos. When using the PROPER type of spacers, such as what he used, you don't have issues. It's no different than running different offset wheels.
@@FastSS02 I don't watch click bait videos like you do I happen to be an automotive tech and I see issues all the time from wheel spacers. Any wheel or spacer that exceeds the manufacturers " original " width adds extra strain to the bearings and suspension.
