This looks soooo nice, this is honestly what the Gen 3 should have been, still not a big fan of that keyless system, wish they would have just stuck with the traditional key

I just purchased one today. There were only 4 within 100 miles of me, and I live in the Northeast, so I always have access to everything at anytime. Of the 4, 3 had been sold. The remaining 1 was about 68 miles from my location. It is going to be a nice ride home! Cold, but nice! What blew me away was none of the dealers realized that the MT 09 for 2025 WILL be a automatic, with a manual feature. So basically your auto car with the fake shift, no clutch pedal or lever. So the 2024 MT 09 SP is the final manual in this lineup. Think it will hold its value?

I live in the Palm Springs area and the 2024 SP model is nowhere to be found around. There is an official Yamaha dealer but they don't have any in stock. I was told in Temecula that if I order now I can get the 2025 model next February😅 Does anyone have any good ideas?

Why did Yamaha introduce that keyless system? That was never a complaint of the old bike. Now where are we to place that massive loose fob, as I never ride with pockets fill of stuff, not to mention leathers.
@@Motoxlight slowly making their way from West Coast to East Coast. Haven't seen any East Coast yet but have seen them Mid-West. Guessing within the next few weeks. The problem is if you're not #1 on pre-order list at your dealer, you're still going to be waiting. Pre-ordered mine 11/02/2023. I'm 2nd in line due to a 23 SP deposit holder converting to 24 SP same day I placed my pre-order, so they're hoping July (I'm holding my breath)
@thasherm I'm number 1 at my dealer, and he is guaranteed 1 at the dealer. He said 3 other people want it and are on the list. What scares me is that I need to finance, but my credit dropped because of a credit card.. i have 2k deposit on it and will put 2 or 3 more down.. Hopefully I can get it finance Damn that blows!!! That happened to me last year with the 2023 sp. I gave up on it. Not giving up on this one now. Good luck brother
I’m in the Midwest, placed a deposit back in January at dealer. Dealers couldn’t physically order them from Yamaha untill 4 weeks ago, and the only ones they could order are for people who placed deposits… so people with no deposit sol
That headlight ruins the front styling . Big screen but tiny display no endrance chain , heated drips and what the heck have you done to the exhaust . Designed by a 10 year old .

What?😂 it's a huge display over the last generation. And it's a full colour display like all the other TFTs out there. The video makes it look a bit fuzzy but that's just the camera

I wanted the keyless. Up until the second I held the key in my hand. Let’s just say, don’t leave your key out in the sun or it will get very brittle

Are those leavers stock or aftermarket? Other pictures I have see of thr SP have leavers like the base MT-09.
