I remember when I bought my first fz-09, I bought all the TST mods, with Bart explaining on how to install them!
That was almost 7 years ago, and while I’ve moved on from the my FZ, I’ll never skip a Bart video lmao

why would you use the catted akra and take the cat out? theres the racing line which would be a better match up against the yoshi..
Because in europe we have regulation of gases and noise.. we must make test and put aftermarket exhaust in bikes papers..then after that ypu can on ypur will remove cat or db killer and still risk ticket..

I got the akra and wonder if i can ride it without cat and shorter db killer without a tune as long as the warranty last? Will definitely get the tune after that.

Best mt09 exhaust made : S-Y9R3-HAFT - they should bring it back.
Not a shorty under bike exhaust fan. Gets monotonous on long rides being up under you. The Yoshimura is clearly the winner in the sound department.
When will the Yoshimura exhausts be in stock?
Just spoke to Yoshimura and their exhaust will be back in stock late Sep/early Oct.

hello everyone I have a question please I have a mt09 sp 24 and I would like to know if anyone has already installed a gearbox output gear with one tooth less? 15 teeth instead of the original 16 teeth I would like to gain acceleration when doing wheelies. Do you think I will gain a little? thank you all

Okay so I'm a new rider with a 24' MT-09. If I replace my exhaust with a Yoshimura AT2 and send my ECU in to be flashed then that's all the "tuning" I need to do? Will there be a 'Check Engine' light on or anything after I reinstall my ECU? Also, does this resolve the issue with 1st and 2nd gear lacking power?
Yes, that will be all the "tuning" you "need" to do until you do other modifications that affect the engine, or air/fuel. As far as first and second gear, yes, it will address 2nd gear as that is heavily restricted but 1st gear will be much smoother. Lastly, we have the following blurb on our product page:
AFTER TUNE: Please be aware that a temporary Check Engine Light will appear and the Mode button will be temporarily disabled after reinstalling your flashed ECU. These issues will clear after two or three ride cycles and the dash will return to normal.

I like Yoshi but can’t get it where I am, so I got the Akrapovic without cat & it makes 1 hp less 🤷♂️
And it’s .05 lb heavier lol

YOSHIMURA for the win and surprisingly it made peak torque more than 1K rpm earlier than the longer and heavier Cacaprovic.
