Don’t know how I missed this one Swank - but I recently acquired a TW that needs this service specifically - so thanks for that. Always pressed for time and this is a great guide.
Thanks! Yeah that was more born out of laziness and not wanting to use a torque wrench but it works! Haha. I was actually glad I sort of did it by feel while using the marks because I had to remove the bolts later to add a high fender bracket which requires longer bolts so I just went about as right as I remembered doing here... Hasn't fallen apart yet!
Yes, you'll likely just get a bunch of crud into the oil seal and likely some rust spots and pitting on the tubes which will eventually ruin the seals if dirt doesn't do it first, not to mention the tubes. But you can do anything you want, sweetheart.
Hey Ben! The bike is looking great! Haha, don't you hate that when your brain for some reason tells you "Hey man, that brake lever sure looks like it could use a good strong squeeze." But then you realize you haven't put the disc back in place yet. ROFL. So the other day I wanted to contact you privately to see if you have some info that I'm hoping to get a hold of. I went to dm you on the insta, but it seems like you must have closed your Instagram page I guess. I'm wondering what the best way to get a hold of you might be. Can you let me know please? Great video. Talk to you later buddy.
Haha yeah I absentmindedly do that a lot, usually I'm pretty good about it when I'm actually working on the breaks... but not always I guess lol. You can email swankycatproductions@outlook.com
It's actually just as much fun as the Tenere, just in a different way. Still have the T7 did 30 miles of rough ATV trails on it and enjoyed every minute!

Glad to hear you found it helpful!!!
My wife put 1 inch spacers under the front fender to give it a little more clearance for mud to go. Thanks Ben
Nice, that's a good idea too!
Bikes looking good man. I love all the little tricks you pick up doing this kind of stuff. Like the marker trick is a good call for sure.

Sorry I've added the link for it the ones I used in the description.
Is it possible to run without the boot?

@@SwankyCatProductions thank you very much sir!
What are you doing with a 200? Trade in the t7..

@@SwankyCatProductions A TW200 is kind of expensive, though, isn't it?
I don't like fork boots. Could you just put some zip on seal savers.
