I love your channel and all your explanations of the ins and outs of your life on the road, it is fascinating for a non trucker! Thats the River Bidasao next to the N121, I believe the water is controlled by dams , there is a Hydro Electric station as you go up and away from Irun towards Pamplona. I have been driving this route to Malaga area for 40 years, Dover-Calais to Poitier via Rouen ,N154 Evreux ,Dreux, for first day, then down the N10 to Irun and up and over on the 121, round Pamplona to Tudela and then across country to Medinacelli(where you filled up your water1) and down the A2 to Guadalhara and Madrid, sometimes we stay second night at Marivella near Calatayud. Then third day down past Madrid , Manzanares, Valdepenas, and then Granada on the A4 then Malaga and arrive for tea! Always stay at the Hostals in Spain, they are such good value. HAve also driven accross from San Sebastian to Santiago de
Campostela, and down through Portugal via Huelva And Seville in the south, and have also tried other pyrrenean passes int he summer. Try not to use the AP roads and the autoroutes if I can. Keep up the wonderful vids and stay safe.

There are some beautiful parts of Spain it's a pity many people only fly to Benidorm etc for their hols, there's so much more to see. On the camino, Galicia would be my favourite. If you get a 24 at one of the big centres where the camino goes through (Pamplona, Logrono, Burgos, Leon etc) you could walk a section of the camino & get a taste of it & meet some peregrinas. Just follow the yellow arrows or shells. You did say you enjoy walking lol.

I so agree with you, a stunning place to stop and have a picnic. On my many travels, I think the best place I've stopped at is at Glen Coe in Scotland, awesome scenery. Its great when you come across this little bit of heaven. You should make notes of the places you've stopped at, and if in the neighbourhood again, stop and have a look round. That's one thing I missed when working in a city, no where to have my lunch on a summer's day. I think that's why I loved camping and caravanning. I too love walking in all weathers. Rain doesn't bother me at all. Have you ever thought of taking a bike along on your travels? I had a Marin bike. They are so light. Mine was a mountain bike, but you can get hybrid for both rough and road biking

( beautiful scenery to having to fit extra locks ) . Was a dream of mine as a UK HGV driver but too old now . Thanks for the uploads

Under the tachograph rules & regulations, after 6 x 24hr shifts, a driver must take a 45hr test period. This can be reduced to 24hrs under certain circumstances. More information can be found at www.gov.uk/tachograph
