Circus Charlie! Love that game. And Jungle King cocktail, nice!
Very awesome collection, I like how you have a wide variety of games from the 70s, 80s and 90s, the Liberator cabaret is also awesome, well done 👍🏻😎
I have been going to Ocean City Maryland on family vacations for the past 30 or so years. I am 10 years younger than you, however, the Playland arcade is still up and running and going strong. It does have a few classic arcade machines but many games are newer or redemption. The sounds, the lights, energy and ambience on warm summer nights are still awesome even today!
Kangaroo and Anteater are awesome. You should totally get a ZooKeeper.
Beautiful collection. Especially that SmashTV (drool)! Thanks for sharing.
Woah. Came to see an arcade tour ended up watching a documentary. This is amazing.
RUclips randomly selected your channel for me to check out and this video just made me subscribe, GREAT collection!
Sweet collection! You had me at Arkanoid!
Hello! This was a really neat video. If your channel hasn't crossed the radar of RetroRalph, I'm sure it will soon! It's really neat that you have Escape from the Planet of the Robot Zombies. I always loved that game and played it often! Your collection is really nice! I was really impressed with your Space Harrier cab too!
My top 5 wish list of games to actually own in person would be:
1) Xybots
2) APB (with the sit down seat)
3) STUN Runner (but wow is that thing huge)
4) Spy Hunter (Stand-up)
5) Rasten
What an amazing collection. Usually I fast forward to see people’s collections, but you had trivia tidbits and were very knowledgable of origins/history which made me watch from start to finish…very well done video!!
I love Cloak and Dagger. I wasn't really aware of it outside of seeing it in the movie, but have since played it and it's one of my favorites.
What an amazing collection, thank you for sharing.
Wonderful collection!
Yes I got what was described but the cost for five singles is a rip off - I’ve gotten 12 pact for less then this. Won’t be getting this ever again - you got me once won’t happen again. Rip off.
Beautiful Collection! I am incredibly jealous! I look forward to exploring more of your videos!
Bloody amazing collection. Nice preservation there for future generations. Can't get my head around how good that Liberator side-art looks on the up-right. Top job!
Impressive collection. Just outstanding video 👏
Stellar overview of your collection and always enjoy the historic info and backstories! I too being born in 71 used to enjoy family summer vacations in the late 70s and early 80s in Ocean City and Atlantic City casino arcades. Not sure and recall completely if I ever visited that particular one you went to though. I remember the indoor casino ones mainly but forgot the names.
You knowledge and skill in restoration of vintage arcades is truly amazing! You must have the most memorable dinner parties! Kudos to you. Thanks for your time and effort in making this video!
Awesome collection! Never heard of Liberator and that second cab you have of it looks totally cool! Reminds me of an Asteroids Deluxe cab.
You have a new sub.
Wow Casandra these are my type of blessings 🏆🎮
I was born in 1977 so I have a lot of respect for your passion
Amazing collection! I'm from Delaware and spent many summers at Ocean City, MD so it was cool to see your video begin with views of the boardwalk I still see quite regularly. As a fellow collector, I always enjoy seeing others' machines and gamerooms. I've subscribed so keep up the fantastic work!!
great to see that these arcades found a good home and are devotedly taken care of ❤
Awesome Home and collection Cassandra!.. I'm very impressed, & love you're attention to detail.. Most of your collection I grew up with and hold a special place with me, I'm same age and experienced same things growing up, albeit my collection is less than half of yours mine are all Japanese Candy cabs!.. But its growing!. I'm truly passionate about this hobby and love to restore and repair as well as play them!.. Looking forward to more videos and listening to your informative knowledge of old skool tech! 👍
Amazing! I appreciate your insight and overview of each cabinet and not just quickly running through your list. Well done.
This was so informative and well edited! You definitely gained a subscriber. I recently started becoming obsessed with the local arcade and building a MAME cabinet but don't have the money, know how, or space to start so I've just been looking at other people's collections and tours online and obsessing over them/learning as much as I can. Your channel is definitely one of the most informative I've come across. Thanks and keep up the good work!
I really like your videos they are very informative and your collection is amazing. Keep up the great work on your games and your youtube videos.
I absolutely love the collection, great video new sub here.
Great vid!! Moon Patrol is cool!! Ms Pac Man is a LEGENDARY GAME!! It’s origins came from what we would call today “modders”Ms Pac Man has a great story!! You got OutRun!!! LOOKS Flawless!!!!!!! Love Sega!! Thanks for sharing!!
Mikie is such a good game, sick that you have in your collection. I love the pullout control panels, like on Escape, easy board access is always nice, especially with JAMMA boards.
The ocean city md clips brought me back so much nostalgia
The brief boom of vector games in the very early 80s was my favorite time in the local arcade. Okay, and laserdisc games.
Thanks for the tour of such a wonderful collection of games ! Great to see that the 80's arcade cabs being restored like that. I played a ton of Space Harrier and SmashTV back in the day and Arkanoid and MsPacMan too. peace
I can't believe that I've not come across your wonderful channel before now. What a truly wonderful and varied collection you have. I love your passion and such a great video presentation too! I've just subscribed and am looking forward to watching your previous videos. Also, I think it's amazing that you have the exact Space Harrier that you played on as a kid!
What an amazing collection. I really dig the diversity in ganes.
Such great production value ❤it shows the love for your live long passion.
Some of my favorite memories from are playing an arcade that's kind of like a time machine that's really cool that you got that
Love the Jungle Hunt art -- when I first saw it here I thought that was one of the better cocktail art packages I've seen. Kind of disappointed it's not original, but you definitely made the right call leaving yours on it.
This is an epic collection. Thanks for sharing your story for each one.
Awesome!! can I come over to play? LOL!!
Very nicely made video and a wonderful collection too. Thanks for posting this.
Such lovely insights into the games i love. Learnt alot. Some nice rare gems too! Beautiful collection❤.
Awesome cassie
Very impressive. Thanks so much for sharing :)
This was an excellent video, thank you for sharing :)
Amazing collection. Thank you
Thanks for sharing! I recall going to arcades and seeing kit games (though I didn't yet know what those were) and trying to make out what game the machine was previously used for based on the burn-in. Looking back, I think that was the genesis of my interest in video game history.
Great Video, awesome collection!
Fabulous. I eenjoyed that immensely
I remember playing Jungle King with Tarzan scream in the arcade as well👍
Well done on an excellent collection. Love it !
Just wow. Really nice collection 😍 envy you a lot 👍
That Liberator game looks amazing! Some collector will be very happy with it.
Such a cool video, loved hearing about your background!
Love It.. Some great titles there..👍
Great collection!
Thanks. Recently subbed. I live in Japan and there's a vintage arcade I go to in Tokyo. I've probably put the owner's kids through college.
I’ve got a arkanoid revenge of doh as my 2nd real arcade and absolute love it. Ok. Own back to the video. 😍😱👍🏻
What a great presentation. Very enjoyable, wonderful job. Glad I found your channel. Just subbed. 👍
I love all your videos, this Chanel is my favorite arcade Chanel, keep up the great work.
You have a very nice collection and a great voice for commentary.
Very nice collection
Howdy Cassandra, I hope your doing well,
I watched this video probably 10 times now lol you have so many of my favorite Arcade games, that I played as a kid, as they debuted, and still play, and own some of them today, do you have any children, and if so, have they shown interest in becoming electrical engineers too, like your Dad, and do they have the same love for the classic Arcade games like yourself ?? I've been subscribed to your channel for the past 2,3 years now, and I gotta say, I really appreciate your knowledge of the games you own and restore, but the history of these games, and So much more, I really enjoy watching your videos, and learning such in depth history of these games, and the companies who built them, Very Cool indeed, Stay safe, Stay Calm and game on my Friend, Peace
Wow, just found your channel, right up my alley - nice collection. I love retro games and the trivia and history around them, you do a good job of delivering good content.
Lovely collection you have there VAG. Subscribed for more.
Love it!
nice collection you have there.
Such entertaining videos... Do one on your MVS please.
Awesome collection. I wish I had space to go that big. I guess I technically do, but I love my console games as well, so I had to keep it to 5 cabinets (I may be able to fit one more if I get creative). I have that same Centipede cabaret, which I play a lot. I also have a Neo Geo MVS, a Nintendo Popeye, a Time Soldiers that was set up as the original game in a Dynamo cabinet, which is kind of weird, and a converted 4-player Sunset Riders that has been at least two other games, but I can't tell which. It was at least a Crime Fighters and something from Taito, but they did enough 4 player games that I'll never know for sure most likely.
I like having an LS30 rotary stick cabinet. I sometimes swap in my pcbs for Guerrilla War, Gondomania, and Heavy Barrel, or the odd vertical JAMMA board like Devastators.
The Sunset Riders I swap in several boards as well. I have... Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, GI Joe, and Desert Assault that all have the same 15 pin connector for simple switching. I have other 4 player PCBs, but they're a pain to swap because of different pinout on the 3P and 4P harnesses (WWF Wrestlefest, US Championship V'ball, Ninja Baseball Bat Man).
I have a bunch of other JAMMA boards I swap in from time to time in the MVS cabinet with a converter. A few that aren't all that great that I got for cheap, and several that I just love from my younger days like Rastan, Tecmo Knight, Black Tiger, etc. I think I have about 50 pcbs and a bunch of MVS carts (as well as one of those 161 in 1 banana yellow carts). I play Neo Geo more on AES, since I own more games on it, but that multi-cart gives me access to a few games like Money Puzzle Exchanger I may not have tried otherwise and loved!
Very good video! Just subbed
I Loved SMASH TV!!! I want to find a cabinet, but I'm hoping for a retro of it like Tron and Time Soldiers... Smash TV is in my Top 3 along with previously mentioned TRON & Time Soldiers ☺️ Wonderfully Nostalgic... Thank You for the Memories and Cheers to this Amazing Content 😁🙏🙏🙏
Nice collection! Mine started with 1 game in 1998... I'm at around 64 now... lost count :)
Nice!
You're so cool! I hope I can have a set app half as good as yours 1 day.
I didn't start getting arcade machines until 2018, when arcade1up hit the scene. My first one was the Street Fighter 2, but because it was a wave one cabinet it crapped out within a couple of months. Then I got a Final Fight cabinet, luckily that one didn't crap out like the first wave cabinet so that was a plus. Then it was Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Ms. Pac-Man, The Simpsons, Capcom Legacy Street Fighter 2, and the Class of 81. I sold 3 of my cabinets to make enough money for the Class of 81. I currently own Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Simpsons, Capcom Legacy, and Class of 81.
My all time favorites are The Simpsons, Capcom Legacy, and Class of 81
I spot Jungle King at 0:20! This early incarnation didn't last as Taito was sued by the estate of Edgar R. Burroughs, who owned the rights to all things Tarzan. As a result, Taito changed the name to Jungle Hunt, and replaced the Tarzan-like character with a game hunter.
I think you have the rarest arcade games next to Galloping Ghost arcade in Brookfield, Illinois. You need to get Tron and Zaxxon!
I have been trying to figure out how to make a multi game system
Like a 2000 in 1 game box
I also see a JAMMA board and I don't know what is needed for one of these. They have 60 games in the board
Can you please do a video on how to build a 2000 in 1 game box ?
I'll try to do something like that in the future!
What you are describing sounds like a Pandora's Box which you can buy for under $50 on ebay. They usually come preloaded with 1500+ games and are usually plug and play if you already have a JAMMA setup. If it is CHAMMA then it will require CHAMMA to JAMMA adapter but those are usually less than $20.
Yes Added Sugar
My most expensive arcade machine is my beautiful all original working Atari liberator arcade! I got it for $750 which is still crazy cheap.
Another great video! You mentioned having a switcher on the Nintendo Unisystem cabinet but did not fully explain. Is it a JAMMA switcher or is it one that lets you switch between different Nintendo VS games? If it is the latter, please let me know who makes it and where to get one.
It runs on Unisystem wire pinouts, but I think there are JAMMA adapters for Unisystem games...but I think they only work with one side of the PCB
Amazing collection! I certainly don't have the space for any cabinets but it's fun to learn about collections like this. My gaming hobby includes making some custom controllers for atari games, and I have a tech question on the Pong console - what is the ohm rating on the paddle control potentiometers??
What's the song at the end?
Also, nice collection. And I'm a new subscriber.
A question I've had for a while as my collection grows..how to power them all now that I've run out of outlets. How did you approach this issue? Thank you!
I would really like the Arcade/Bar size Millipede or centipede for my home. Are these available and how difficult is it to repair them. Millipede is my favorite. Thank you for the information.
any vintage machine will have its issues but Millipedes are pretty common and fairly robust
Can I ask where you got your track ball for the liberator cabinet
The 1st shown
Arcade Genius! Your collection is amazing!
What’s that dope song at the end?
That is 21st Century by the band Rhema from the obscure film Voyage of the Rock Aliens!
Do you go to the Northwest pinball show in Tacoma?
Didn't get a chance too, I am just so busy with school :-(
Space harrier lucky
Saw a tron in Colorado
"Pong-off in the office". Is that what you kids call it now?
Do you fix arcades?
At 17:25 , Taito should be pronounced TIE-TO, not TAY-TO.
I love your house girl
Makes me sad these crt monitors will eventually die out
i am so jealous of that space harrier. hate you jk
😢It’s sucks to be me.
🫡
can we be friends so you can invite me to play?
I just subscribed. I'll have to watch the rest of this video beyond the two minutes I already watched at another time. I too have 30 or so working originals.
Everything to do with this video was awesome 👏
