I always love your approach Cassandra. I am glad you added a Super Pac-man to your collection. I too have one in my arcade. It is an amazing game full of complexities and challenges. I would say it is one of the most underrated arcade games of all time. It is exciting to find those survivors! Each has a unique story we collectors love to hear and share. I will bet as you play Super Pac-man and uncover its sophistication you will find it growing on you more and more. Thanks for sharing it with us.
What a brilliant video! I had no idea that a lot of the pacman games weren't official despite being manufactured by Bally. Here in the UK, pacland was extremely popular !
Thanks for the nostalgia trip. I remember thinking Super Pac-Man was too different back when I first saw it in arcades, so I stuck with Ms. Pac-Man. I really like Super now though. It's a lot of fun.
You easily have the best combination of thoroughness and entertainment in these single-game focus videos, Cassandra! I missed a good chunk of a hockey game because this popped up on my recommendations, and I'm kinda okay with it! ;p One question on your cabinet though, purely out of curiosity...with the paint flecking off on some parts, and after mentioning the overspray hinting that it may have originally intended to be a Ms. Pac-Man cabinet, have you seen a layer of that Ms. Pac-Man light blue or maybe even some unfinished cabinet art underneath?
Thanks so much! The light blue is under much of the back where the paint flaking is super heavy, and you can see it in some spots on the side but I can't see any sign of stencils. Maybe they just used the light blue as a primer that day in the factory? It is strange though.
I recall seeing a Super Pac-Man cabinet at a local movie theater back in the mid 2000s, which was how I was introduced to the game. My family aren't into video games and were only familiar with the original Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man games at that point.
I love this video game, out of all Arcade1up games made I own 2 of these for the game play and look. Thanks for taking the time to do this video. All the pictures, newspaper’s clippings and game play. You took me back to being a kid again, thank you.

Great video! I have a soft spot for Super Pac. Mainly because I had a decent pattern that would get me pretty far when I was 12.
