I think the techniques to start a dead battery car requires a video. How to Jump start / dhakka start / any other way. Along with troubleshooting. Because i have faced battery issues where i have sometimes not been able to jump start my car, even with a dedicated jump start cable. Only when i install the other battery in my car, does it work. I don't understand why it doesn't work with the jump start cable, which is a proper one i bought from amazon. So troubleshooting issues like these, amd highlighting ways to start a car in emergency situations would be of great help to everyone. Good work on the series brother 👍
Torque converter gearbox is indeed much reliable than others. Even VW provided TC gearboxes with their 1.0 TSI engines replacing the notorious DSG (DQ 200). Many full size crossovers like Tuscon, Harrier and XUV 700 come equipped with TC gearbox because of their reliability.

Hi Sir, Very informative video. Thanks. I just bought (a week) a new DCA Altroz, and i am facing problem with gear shift. I have been driving my old manual transmission car since 10 years. But now because of automatic transmission, i am not very happy or not understanding how exactly i will raise the acceleration. Because everytime RPM is going very high but my car is not picking up the speed. Something In low RPM also it's going very smoothly. I don't know this is because I used to driving manual transmission car OR the DCT is working like this only. Sir, pls explain, if possible if you can make the video, i think most people are facing the same issue. Thanks
CVT failing 🤔are those cases from a particular manufacturer or any particular car model?? And while you do CVT I think you can explain the difference between the one used in cars and mopeds...
@@vijuvlogs have you heard about Nissan CVT failures? Nissan is infamous for CVT failures. Recently Honda City CVT failure was also reported, though Honda CVT is one of the best.

@@vijuvlogs i don't know about podcasts and all. I was researching on Nissan Kicks and found the infamous CVT failure story, litigations in foreign markets etc. Hence dropped the Kicks altogether (there were other major ergonomics related issues).
Explained torque converter principle just excellently..by taking the example of two table fans ... amazing ❤️❤️💯 And yes static actually installed in between to turbine blades..just to compensate powerloss of fluid which is being thrown from crankshaft connected driving turbine blades to driven turbine blades.. Static just increase the flow velocity of fluid approaching towards driven blades...and hence transmit more power
Please make a comparative video on DSG vs TC vs CVT vs AMT vs iMT with Pros and Cons of each, mentioning the best transmission out of these. Thanks & Regards.

Nice video with crisp and clear explanation. The most advanced and best transmission is DSG. Its poorly understood by most of us. If maintained properly its the best and more reliable than torque converter.

A good example could be a Transformer. The stator compensates for the energy loss just like coils do in a transformer. The coils can be increased or decreased to setup or step down the voltage from input to output of a transformer Very good explanation btw

One doubt I have, When we apply breaks, Turbine stops which is connected to your drive shaft BUT the impeller is still moving according to engine speed. Now, what happens to the oil and stator since they would still be moving right? and does it effect the whole TC unit in any way?

gear shift speed of modern torque converter automatics became as quick as dual clutch. even performance cars like BMW M series cars are now using torque converter now. they stopped using unreliable dual clutch.
Absolutely. Even koenigsegg trusted a torque converter for its super car Ragera. But day to day cars won’t of course get faster TCS for obvious reasons.

IMTs or AMTs will always be inferior to the automatic transmission ie torque converter.
