The first point you mentioned is absolutely true but it should have been carry forwarded. Due to high compression ratio, the piston in Diesel engine has to move more as compared to Petrol engine of same capacity. This movement is compensated by a longer arm which connects the Piston and crankshaft. And as you know Torque= Force * Arm length. Even if you generate same force, The diesel has longer arm which accounts for more Torque. Also , due to more energy density the force produced by burning of Diesel is also more than Petrol. In short. Torque produced is more in Diesel engine of same capacity. But the Power is more in Petrol Engine. Because of shorter arm length which makes the Crankshaft to complete one rotation much faster than in longer armed Diesel Engine. Power = T * Rpm Since Rpm is higher in petrol it gives more power.

There is a another reason : Because of longer stroke length of diesel engines, the crank shaft diameter also need to be increased. and we know that Torque = Force x Perpendicular distance here distance is crank radius...and thus torque increases

By providing more air(more air , more oxygen) which allow to burn more fuel , A supercharger and turbocharger increase flow of air by forcing more air in combustion chamber. I-vtech , vvt , vvti ,vtvt all these technology also help to drawn more air in combustion chamber 😁

Flash point and fire point has nothing to do with torque. The two reasons for higher torque of diesel engine are high compression ratio and higher calorific value of diesel ( i.e diesel will release more energy than same amount of petrol)
Nice video bhai. Mai aapke pehle reason se sehmat hu lekin aapka second reason mujhe thoda jama nahi. Diesel jaldi jalne ke waja se torque jyada aata hai aisa nahi lagta mujhe. Diesel engines mai compression ratio ke sath sath cut off ratio bhi jaruri hota hai. Cut off point wo point hota hai jab diesel fuel cylinder ke andar inject hona band hota hai. Isliye aap typical diesel combustion dekhoge toh usme combustion process actually thoda lamba chalta hai petrol se aur appko ek constant pressure maintain rehta hai cylinder mai during power stroke. Isliye diesel cycle ko constant pressure cycle bhi bola jata hai. Aur ek reason ye bhi hai ki diesel engines ka compression jyada hone ke karan stroke bhi jyada hota hai jiske waja se crank bhi bada hota hai. Aur ham sab ko maloom hai torque is force x distance. So crankshaft ke axis se big end( connecting rod ) ka distance jyada hone ke karan torque output jyada aata hai. Aur ek waja hai ki diesel fuel mai energy per volume jyada hota hai compared to petrol.
