I then tried to download the remote app onto my phone (and the app actually found the device) but after selecting it I then received the error of “check to see if your roku device is plugged in and on the network”. Any help is appreciated....
Why are RUclips commercials on Roku stuck, skipping on repeat? It's been happening for about three months, at the beginning of the ads and also later in. I reset my network, and it doesn't happen on my devices, just RUclips Roku. I imagine advertisers don't like it and it sure is distracting to have these hiccups. Hope it get fixed soon, thanks!

We tried to set it up but right after it finishes its software upgrade a message was shown in the tv screen that says " ooppps. we are trying to fix some things please unplug the device and then plug it in after 1 hour." We followed the instructions, after an hour we plugged the roku stick and same problem was encountered. we tried waiting for a couple of hours more.. same thing happened. I tried to reset the stick and re-setup the device. Sure thing after downloading the message appeared again." and now its more than 3 days still the problem has not been resolved. please advise. also i already tried asking support from Globe telecom and they just told me to wait for it.

Install "All screen" on your phone and on your TV. Once you selected the movie/show you are planning to watch on ShowBox then, change the streamer and select "other player" at 3 vertically dots. It will automatically stream to your TV.

Save your money...poor quality. I have a new TV, new wifi router and the stream freezes about every 5 seconds to spool. When it does resume, the picture is not even close to HD quality. Also, they require you to register a credit card or Paypal. Since I have no intention of purchasing any extra services (simply want to access to cable I already get from my provider), I chose to register my Paypal account. After entering my Paypal info, I'm "asked" to agree to Roku accessing my bank account for purchases...nice. Whenever a product doesn't live up to it's advertising AND there is a certain amount of deception going on, time to be suspicious.

You can power your Streaming Stick via the USB port on your TV or the outlet in your wall. You can unplug it when you aren't using it if you'd like.

I've been using a Roku for about four years; not this stick but o/c the much older version. Hardly any problems.
