Yes I have always been a fearless dreamer, but but don't get it twisted, this is scary, and probably the craziest stunt I have ever pulled 😜 but I had to follow my heart. I left a career making a lot of money because my soul was no longer in it. I was depressed and cried almost every time I showed up for work in the last 2 years.
The nine-to-five grind was killing me so I had to leave it behind! I decided to chase a life of authenticity, growth, rediscovery and solitude. 🌈 🌴

That third house is my favorite. It's beautiful, I love that it's only one story, and I absolutely like the fact that it has a community area, etc. It's got just about everything a single person or even a small family could want and need. Don't even let me get started on the pretty private garden and pool area in the backyard.
I live in the Gulf Coast and have 11.5 foot ceilings, and those high ceilings help me so much in the summer. My little family would die of heat stroke if it weren't for this old house having high ceilings. Good luck on your home search. 💜

It’s gonna get better Sis! I promise it will! Here in PR, everything goes in the fridge or airtight containers because these microscopic ants are ruthless! I’ve lost so much food to those hungry little monsters and I’ve lost leather items and electronics to the humidity. Now, I use a dehumidifier and those little silica packs that come with new shoes to save my stuff from the environment. I love those houses you’ve shared with us. If safety is a concern, I’d go with the one with a community. But as for aesthetics, I’d go with that second one with those ceiling to floor glass walls and the rock wall. It’s dope AF! The last home you showed was the one. The community was great, the neighborhood was beautiful, and you cannot beat that sunset. On another note, it's the 50th anniversary of hip hop and whilst listening to LL Cool J's Rock The Bells radio "doing it" came on and I was stoked. I was like that's my girl on that song. So now you're officially my friend. I'm so proud of you for making it through all of those bumps and bruises with the move and I'm wishing you all the best. Can't wait until you upload another progress video.

Oh wow! I am scared trust me, it's not easy but I have never been one to take no for an answer. They told me females can't rap and I said 👀 oh ok .... the rest is history. Follow your heart and be smart with your finances. Don't buy things you don't need. I made that mistake. I hope to keep inspiring others to see the world and not just what they see and hear on TV or in the movies. I live in Colorado and adore it, but I've rented my entire adult life and knowing I could get a home that I'd own for less than I rent... amazing!! I definitely like the last one for the single floor aspect and the community. You could have a garden in the patio/pool area! It seems to get great light! 😂
I'm curious, when you become a citizen of Mexico, does that mean you give up US social security benefits when you're old enough to qualify?? Just things I'm thinking about for my own future plans!😊

If you receive social security disability based off of your work history, or SS retirement then you can keep your benefits, just convert over to pesos as needed.

The prices are monthly rent not the purchase prices as some people thought so they didn't see my other video with house tours or they would know I am renting first and I show rental prices

yes, this is my second video Ive seen of yours touring houses in Mexico, in general I like videos of this nature about buying a home and especially like you are doing in another country this gives great insight on how that process looks and for anyone who may decide to do the same, I'm not looking to move out the country any time soon but I love going with you on your house hunting and moving process its so exciting!!!

But wait you’re looking at empty homes what else are they supposed to be? Drywall and Tile? When I move in I can warm things up. That’s what you’re supposed to do right? Well thanks I hope you come back so you can see the difference decor makes in turning a house into a HOME
@@LESHAUNWILL I’m happy that you’re experiencing this journey. I have chello’s on my wall in my dining room so I’m pretty aware of how you can warm a home up. But concrete and tile as a foundation give great structure but the only thing warm about the residence was the door which was wood and looked amazing. I’m sure you’re going to do your thing with the furniture but personally I need to see some character to be interested.

Thanks hon and they don’t have phases like that. People can own land and never build on it and they can own and start building next week so I guess it’s the luck of the draw. Problem is they are building EVERYWHERE here so there’s no escaping it. You can dodge it for a little while but eventually it will catch up.

Hello Doll they last house is in an HOA community so they have to keep the ruckus to a minimum. as for the 2nd house I loved it but it did give me concern as it's very secluded and the streets around it weren't very developed and I also hated that shed next to it

The large closet is perfect, you will only need abed in the bedroom with a chair and tables

1st house: I like the space overall
2nd house: I like the patio & outside space (u can grow ur own produce & create a garden extravaganza)
Last house: I like the 1 level, outdoor space & high ceilings. The community aspect is gr8, esp 4 when ur kids & grandson come 2 visit (rms r a bit small)
It's crazy knowing u can buy a house for $1000 US dollars.
I can't wait til u get settled n & get 2 work on ur space. It's going 2 take a load off u & put u n a good head space. Being creative has its ups & down. The ups r amazing though.

@@mistermilkman I just had to say this. I went to see my mom in Bk last month because she moved to one of those luxury buildings downtown near Barclay Center and I barely recognized the borough that I grew up in! The rent is crazy and the amount to rent or own is crazy as well!!!!

Turn on ac to check for leaks and functionality
Run water in sinks and shower, Mérida water pressure is iffy, you'll know if you need a water pump and if installed already if its functional

The same stairs so story happened to my mom and I in Malaysia. I asked the Airbnb host if the apartment is on the first floor and she said yes. My mom has vertigo so she can't go up that many floors. When we got to the airbnb it was on the second floor and we had to carry all our bags there. The host still said that it was the first floor. I found out later that the first in the US is the ground floor for Malaysia. They do not count it as the first. The second floor in the US is their first.
yep thats why I messed up when I was counting the first time because in Mexico the first floor is not the ground floor but either way it damn sure aint the 4th 😂 some humans suck unfortunately
Welcome to the Mexican definition of floors. They don't count the ground floor as the first floor. At least that's what other RUclipsrs have said. Sorry you had a bad experience, but it did remind me of that difference from the usa.

Those houses are average 200 -250K USD around 3-4 MILLION PESOS 😂 but I think if you didn't see my other video then you didn't know I was renting not buying

The last house for sure (first look anyway)...it's beautiful, plus community for security purposes (as a single female in a new country) and H.O.A. - I have a townhome, and if they're like my H.O.A. I don't have to worry about anything external of the home (I've added to the landscaping (plants/shrubs and such, but they maintain landscaping, cut the grass--they even replace the roof, garage door, and pave my driveway when the time comes) So, that's definitely something to consider. They can be annoying at times, but with no H.O.A. you're on your own with external maintenance. Find out how strict they are. You don't want to be where the HOA is so restrictive that you HATE them. You're looking for FREEDOM, not a little prison. Ask for a copy of their CC&Rs.

that is monthly rent Doll the peso aint that cheap lol and the dollar has lost value so to buy any of those houses they would be about 200k USD and tghe one you didn't see would be more because of it's location
@@LESHAUNWILL ok, thanks. Compared to where I live, that amount to rent a whole home is a good deal. And to buy at 200k is also a good deal compared to VA prices, something built like that brand new I know would be twice that amount.
