I wish all dealers were as fair when buying as Chris
How much do you want for the Mike trout Auto the last card
Most of the time dealers at my local show want to trade for my cards at below 70%. Most will give 50% cash for your cards.
I've got some Mark mcgwire rookie cards I'm looking to part with

Chris, I am going to say what everyone is thinking. We really wish this video was longer and you showed everything. Amazing collection. Believe me when I am ready to sell I am calling you!!!
I done a deal with Chris and it was super easy and smooth. When I am ready to sell more of my cards, I will definitely hit Chris back up.
Your such a value to your hobby and anyone new can gain so much from watching your videos. Your transparency everything about it is so awesome! Nice work and good luck. Looks like you'll make some money on those! Nice job!
Those Kershaw autos brings back memories of back in 2011 I bought a box and pulled his gold refractor auto. Got it graded with BGS 9.5/10 and after he won CY Young that year sold it for $700. Was very happy with the sale but now cry a bit inside thinking of what sales prices would be now and past few years.
I really appreciate the depth of explanation you give on these videos. Very educational and helpful (as well as a great way to start a Saturday while drinking my coffee). Thank you!
Love that Jordan card. As a graphic designer of 14 years, I love that it was made into the air man logo.
You could give the, "What could go wrong division" the day off on this one. Solid performers in really good condition from early in their careers--just a great collection.
1 Joe Namate ,3 Bart Starr Superbowl 1 Football card,1 Bart Starr Superbowl football card
You get some off my sports card ,
🎉do you want fo check out my cards got JOE Namate and 3 Bart Starr Superbowl 1 card and 1 BArt Starr Football card ,Terry rads Superbowl 2
Amazing collection, Chris! As a collector, I can definitely appreciate the time and money it took to put that together - fantastic. 👍🏻
Guy had quite the collection. Hits tons of “keys” / milestones in multiple sports. Love that 09 Trout and the early 80’s baseball rookies
Wow! Nice collection! Those are exactly the types of cards I collect...or wish I could, anyway. Thank you both for sharing this with us and also making me jealous!
Really appreciate the breakdown in pricing on what you paid, and what you expect to get for it. Great transparency, and a very fair price for the seller. I suppose it's all about how quick you're able to turn them around. Would be great if you could do a follow-up video once you sell the collection.
Great stuff, Chris! Hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend. 👍
Thanks for sharing these beautiful cards… personally I’m not a fan of graded cards, but I can recognize great cards when I see them!
Absolutely stunning collection, and I agree Chris is the most fair out there!!
Wow. That was an amazing collection. Great business man you are!!!
Wow! Awesome collection. This really helps a lot of us put our collection value in perspective. Equally as curious why Bill chose to unload it. My collection is in far less value, but I just couldn’t sale any of it.
Omg psa 8's and 9's of those great cards from the 60's and 70's wow what a collection
This one blows my lot i sent ya out of the water! Chris always pays well. Its why im confident he will do well anytime i send him stuff.
One of these days I'm gonna snag a copy of the 85' Jordan. Lot's of cool stuff there.
WOW. You got a good collection to resale. Money, Money, Money.......LOL!
12:25 Dude, I spent 8 hours on the Friday of the Burbank show a couple weeks ago looking for one of these Kershaws! There are only 25 PSA 10’s. 220,000 square feet of dealers and nobody had one. That’s one of my PC grails!
*edit* I had $2,500 cash with me and some big cards to do a cash and trade deal. Was hoping to find one in the $3k to $3.5k range.
Very nice. I always enjoy getting into the head of a collector/investor/dealer to see how you think through these transactions for collecting snd reselling. Thanks for sharing.
That is a pretty impressive box of graded from the 80's/90's. So much good stuff!
Geez Chris Sewall aka High Roller with those Kershaw rookies. As a lifelong Dodger fan, I'm very jealous of those cards. I'm selling my sealed wax from 18 to get some funds for other things. Thank you for your thorough breakdown of your deals
Great collection!!
If you find yourself thinking of throwing away the 87 and 88 Tiffany Shawon Dunston, please tell me where that trash can is so I can grab those for my PC! 😅
A lot of good stuff...those Kershaws and Verlander is awesome... I sold a Topps Scherzer PSA 10 recently for $210...only lasted a couple days...great batch for sure
The MJ Nike promo card is my favorite card of all-time.
Very cool, you collected, invested, and dealt with that deal, fulfilling your namesake. 😂
Thank you Bill for selling your collection to BCCID
We need more people like Chris in the world these days. A true gentleman.
I’m not so sure of that brother. My 3 year old son and I saw Chris at Subway and my son was super excited. I asked Chris if I could get a picture of him and little Bobby but Chris told us to “F-off!” And said, “I’m eating!” My son was devastated and if I wasn’t in a wheel chair I would have decked him.
@@Henleyrocks i don't believe that story for a second.
@@Henleyrocks Video or this didn't happen....which I'm sure never happened.
@@Studgunners I wish it didn’t happen. My son is still devastated by the encounter
You and Jeremy are two of the best. Class acts
very true, my friends all wanted that Jose Canseco card
Wow, what a collection! Those Kershaw Bowman Chrome autos (especially the refractors) and Trout had me 😮
Me to. Wow!
Some really nice in this purchase!
Also I’m not sure on the value line but as you probably already know PSA I think has a sell price on autos for Sept. Just thought I’d throw that out there for ya! I’m sure you know more about it than I do! I’m just a collector myself so I’ve never graded anything yet! Great Video! Also I left a comment about buying the Tiffany Commons/ cards your not going to sell through your sites!
Thanks Chris For All You Great Videos And Knowledge! Helps people like myself to gain more knowledge and learn more about what and how to improve their collections!
Fantastic collection purchase Chris..😍😮 There's a ton of value in this collection..🤔 The Verlander and Kershaw RC's are very sweet..😉 Well done.. Take care..👍💕🔥👊
Thanks for showing. I learn a lot when I watch these.
The only reason you have the
best and most popular show is because the viewers know you are very honest.
What a great collection, thanks for sharing.
Hi Chris! Just a heads up I know you said the one touch cases kinda rattle, but if you listen closely the PSA slabs slightly rattle as well.
The max scherzer gold from 2008 Update, have you listed it? You are da man Chris! You are everything that is good about this hobby!
Carter Hart??? Now we're talking!!! Nice collection there. Saw a few Crosby cards peeking out there as well
Wow. The Trout was quite the cherry on top.
Your presentation, knowledge, professional manner in which you carry yourself is amazing!.... Believe you did play game?...If so.... now you have the second best Job in the world..... Some other's......they cuss too much.....
I have some ball cards not as nice as those. I have Mickey Matle and Baberuth.
I'm still waiting for you to get back to me about my Beanie Baby collection.
The BO JACKSON AUTOGRAPHED CARD !!!!I WANT IT SIR!!!!!
I must buy this card !!!!I have been hunting this piece for yrs !!!!as I have a LARGE collection of his cards as I met him as a child and he impacted my life greatly 🙏
Awesome cards in that collection!
All the best cards , almost like they all came from an auction house
Wow, this was a great collection to purchase and thank you for the financial breakdown at the end. I think holding on to the few you’ve picked makes total sense, I’d do the same.
Very nice collection of cards!
Awesome colllection! I was like, "oh cool!" Over and over lol... btw still watching all the time! Havent commented much cause been watching on tv app :(
great collection for sure just alot of iconic staple cards of big stars, seller definitely took great care of their collection and will make alot of collectors very happy when some of those grails move into their collection. Personally just getting into baseball cards so dont know as much about them but always been big into the hockey card market some iconic cards there! dont know what you have planned for them but if you had planned on selling them all would love to own them and put them away for a few years as investments.
Awesome stuff here!!
That Kershaw rookie is sweet.
Cool collection Chris. I absolutely loathe PSA's dumb qualifiers. Need to do away with them.
A couple keepers.. another day in the life of C.S.... fun stuff !
Those Kershaw's are my modern grail cards. Someday I will own one. Just not today
Would love to know when you list the 84 Fleer Update Clemens
the best laugh on the internet is "how you know your guy won't cheat on you"
Nice cards!
I've got some Nolan Ryan baseball cards for sale, a few are black and white photos even.
This was a tutorial on how to do business from both angles. There will be a lot of hours spent before the purchase sells through but the inventory is so solid there is virtually no Wander Franco risk.
Love those kershaws
I am interested in purchasing your Matthews PSA 10 . Thanks . Rob
Great Collection! The Tiffany cards you said you didn’t send off or really intend to sell. I’d like to buy them mainly for the Yankees but I’ll buy them all from you if you want to talk more about it, can you send me your email address or let me know and I’ll send mine! But I’m definitely interested in them! I’ll pay shipping if needed however you want to do it! Id really like to do the deal! I grew up collecting these and lost my entire collection in a divorce! Well she lost them for me is what happened! Hope you respond!
Thanks, Joey
Great collection
I love these videos
Got my eye on the Leaf Cal Ripken auto
Bro is turning into Alpha Investments
I have pretty much all of those cards except the football and basketball I have a good number 70s 60s cards st Louis cards willie the hank nolan ryan
"Other than that, how was the play Mrs. Lincoln?" LOL
We’re there any Mattingly 84 donruss in that first row of slabs? Awesome collection
Hey Chris. Great stuff as usual. Love to see the hockey and wondering if you’d be interested in selling one of the carter hart 10s - not sure if you do that. If so let me know.
Drooling over here! Thanks for sharing & explaining as always. Thanks to Bill for letting you showcase it too. With qualifiers mostly going away, would it make sense to crack & submit some of the vintage cards back to PSA to aim for that grade that's 2 below the original one with a qualifier? I feel like collectors would rather have a straight up number grade than a qualifier, but that's just a guess. Or would it make sense to send them as crossovers for a minimum grade? Curious to know if any of that was part of your strategy.
Good point and I definitely considered that. Ultimately decided it wasnt worth the risk/time/cost to crack or crossover.
@@collectorinvestordealer That makes sense too. Thanks for the extra info and helping me realize it wasn’t a wild idea.
King of OC
I'd love to see what my memorabilia and cards are worth. Probably 200 k cards so many unopened boxs and signed stuff.
Would be interested in the Matthews PSA 10 . Do you have it listed anywhere ? I am in Canada
Never understood why people own slabs from multiple grading companies, so much easier to keep track of pricing when you keep it consistent
Any of the Kershaw’s for sale?
Yeah, I think this is a good time to buy Shohei Ohtani. Going to win his 2nd MVP in 3 years. Just as, or more importantly, the discussion in the off season will focus on which team will he be playing, for in 2024. Even if the ones you showed are not the most expensive, I would still buy those before spending 4 figures on Fernando Tatis Jr. anything.
But, my favorite cards from the collection just might be the Lew Alcindor. Would be worth more had it, received a grade, but at least the authentic verifies, it's real. And, the Wilt Chamberlain, though it's not in PSA or SGC. The dumb money going into Zion Williamson, when Wilt was the real deal, and one of the greatest players of all time.
OP.....is the Scherzer Gold raw available?
That's a really good buy you got there man 💯 what's the total profit margin in the end 🧐
Great video and cool collection!
Do you ever sell directly to collectors or always go through eBay? So many nice cards here - would be great to have a way to buy where you and buyer don’t get hit with 15-20% eBay fees - and potentially taxes.
I sell on many platforms, and occasionally direct.
The OC drops it a MINIMUM of 2 grades. Dont lie to yourself. Ive seen a lot of psa 5 centering on a 9oc card
Nice collection
I’d be interested in buying that Montana rookie??
Hope you hung onto a few of those Ohtanis. Now that he’s had his 50/50++ season. Still hasn’t been crowned MVP yet.
The 3rd MVP is baked into his prices already
@@songmikej can’t wait for after the World Series to finally hear it’s going to be Ohtani in the NL and of course Aaron Judge for the AL.
My Grandmother has a collection that would not just knock you socks off but you'll be butt- naked after seeing a collection of a life time
Haha! Feel free to email me at sewallsportscards@gmail.com
I’m curious, how much time do you have invested in evaluating this collection, looks like a lot of work. I would like to see a video in the future in how you evaluate a collection before you buy. Thanks again !!
I bet that would be kinda hard. The turnaround would have to be super fast with as volatile the market is these days. Plus he leaves himself pretty thin margins. It would be awesome tho & if anyone could make it work, it would be Chris.
First and loving the channel!
We have a winner!
Hey Chris, if I'm not to late could I reserve the Kareem Rookie?
How will you sell that Ozzie Smith rookie?
Man is there a way we can contact you! Would love to see if you are selling anything
For me I just couldn't buy a ( OC ) card.
I don't think I could either...but...I built a set of 1979 Topps some years back and had maybe 30 NRMT-MT or better cards that were as much as 90-10 off and sold them as a lot and was surprised at the number of bids and the price I got.
lol the Ohtanis aged well
One thing, I notice Chris, is some of the PSA slabs, are older. For example, if the Bench rookie and some of the others rookies were in the newer slabs would you make a bit more on? Or doesn't really make much of a difference?
It probably makes a small difference. Would be slightly better if everything was in newer slabs
Great video! Do you plan to hold any such as the Ohtani cards say maybe till next season to see what happens to the value if he comes out strong again? I know it’s a risk, was just wondering if you hold some to see what happens. Thanks for sharing! Great cards!
I probably won't hold any of his cards, maybe one or two if they come back PSA 10s
Chris, so on the cards you took on consignment. Do you put those in auctions or do you list them with high values and see what people offer?
It depends on the consignor's preference but for these I listed them high and will see what kind of offers come in.
@@collectorinvestordealerwhat’s your eBay ?
I feel like some of these are up on ebay currently?!
Nothing from this collection is up on ebay at the moment
