My grandfather pulled one of those Reggie Jackson autos from Upper Deck back when I was 5 or 6. He had Mantle, Aaron, etc cards that burned up in a house fire about 25 years ago but the Reggie survived. It's now the crown jewel of my humble collection, along with the newspaper clipping from the local paper that interviewed him about it. Things were different back then. RIP Grandpa
Although this is an incredible collection, the MOST amazing thing about this is that this guy is only 40 years old!!!!! Thats the hardest 40 I think ive ever seen.
That 2015 McDavid RPA is an incredibly card, but I would argue that the 2005 SP Authentic Future Watch Auto or the 2005 The Cup RPA for Sidney Crosby & Alex Ovechkin are more iconic! Two absolute legends who will go down as all-time greats, both with their instantly recognizable top-tier rookie cards from the same year!
Unpopular opinion. Secondary signed cards should grade authentic only. There is no Tom Brady autograph on 2000 bowman checklist. Just because he is on the card, does not make it part of the set. It should still be looked at as altered.
Man, PSA used to be much more forgiving... they were super kind to that 48 Jackie with the 20+ year old serial number. That card would maybe get a 4 or 5 today
Dannngggg!! This is so cool! I wish I could sit in that room and look through that collection myself. So cool! I love seeing people like this guy invest so much of their wealth into the hobby.
Amazing pc. The Frank Thomas nnof believe actually came from the northeast. There are several other cards that have now been identified as having the same error. There was some obstruction that ran diagonally across the sheet. Very cool
Unrelated side note but Wish you could do a pack opening with Brett Favre to find his 92 high series stadium club though i as well as any other real true fan knows his draft year is 91 but 92 can bring much more
when it comes to hockey and o pee chee or topps it all depends on where the players were born that effcts the value,so gretzky who was born in canada youll want the opc,now say patrick kane who is born in the usa youll want the topps because its made in the states
I prefer THIS content over listening to “hobby crooks/drama” or the newest “rookie” of the month any day. I want to highlight the people who actually made the right decisions and disciplines to stack a WINNING portfolio and what they did to do it. I learned the most about the hobby and which cards to actually buy from learning from these type of collectors. THIS…. Is what investing looks like kids. I’ve said this 20 times on this channel and I’ll write it out again kids. THE BEST CARDS ALREADY EXIST! They’re not waiting in that next pack.
@@chuckmcbuckets6011 I know, In 2018 Panini Authentic signed him to an exclusive contract for cards and memorabilia, so they could have had send in items since they did sit downs including basketballs, they probably didn't since it's not their business model, but he was under contract to sign things other than stickers through the mail. I didn't realize they didn't re-sign him, or it was that long ago lol

Patrick: you have an absolutely awesome collection! Thanks very much (to you and Geoff) for sharing it with us. :)
Thank you Patrick for sharing your magical collection. You are a wonderful story teller , I really enjoyed this one. Good work Geoff and SCI team !
Although this is an incredible collection, the MOST amazing thing about this is that this guy is only 40 years old!!!!! Thats the hardest 40 I think ive ever seen.
I was thinking 57 easy.
He’s very intelligent and well spoken for his age. The Jordan crossover worked out well! 💰
NFW he’s 40
He looks 57 tho…. Not good 😮
Dude got mad money, maybe that's why he looks 60, he worked his a$$ off.

What a beautiful collection.
This was an awesome video. Thanks Geoff and Patrick for the very entertaining deep dive!
Excellent show, thank you. Kept my interest all the way through.
I have the 1986 Topps Steve Young in PSA 10. It's my all-time favorite card.
Amazing pc. The Frank Thomas nnof believe actually came from the northeast. There are several other cards that have now been identified as having the same error. There was some obstruction that ran diagonally across the sheet. Very cool
Love his interesting stories about each item and do a part two on those cut autographs that had the Helen Keller 🎉
This type of collection video is where Taint Wilson does his best work. Amazing collection and great stories.
Amazing collection but the stories behind it all was even better❤❤❤
Amazing collection. Great video. Thank you! 😊
Junk wax in the background--a man after my own heart...
Wow, great video Jeff, and wonderful collection.

Great video.

Awesome video !!!!!
This is awesome !!
Well spoken
Geoff, I have to admit feeling a little disappointed after watching your Kmart rip video, but you’ve made up for it in spades! 🤣
Yo great video man I love your videos and you are one of the reasons I got into sports cards
It took me 4 years to get my Bird Magic and Erving autographed with the same sharpie the sharpie died as the signature finished.
Whoa!
I met hulk hogan at 7-11 in Hollywood he signed and took photos and told me to hold his beer
The Walter patten card looks oc left/right
For all the guys that say cards aren’t investments. I’d say 30k into 400k is one hell of an investment
I absolutely love the collection, but how is that Jackie Robinson a PSA 8? Am I looking at the card wrong
If I had money I would buy great cards
Oooh, look. It's the ticket stub pump and dumper... 😂😂😂
Geoff’s brain turns off when the hockey cards come out
I have 12 different corrections of 89 Fleer Billy Ripken. There's roughly 18 corrected version I sold 4 others almost had 18. I have 6 FF
PSA would never give a 86 fleer Jordan a 10 these days now that it’s worth 200k+ luckily this guy did it before the covid boom
Great stuff!
It’s my bday
Everyone has one
@ when is ur bday
Ask your mum
@ ur not him
NICE

I didn’t realize Tim Dillon collected cards

I thought Charles Barkley Had an exclusive autograph deal with Panini, Not sure if expired?
Yeah thats sticker autos, hes talking about sit down signing on card.

Looks oc 90/10
No vintage cards?
Where are the black guys with cards? Besides PrimzGod.
And Terrance twizm lol … prizmgod got caught up selling stolen cards tho too… imagine that
Wow a guy with more money than geoff
holy mole
Barkley is a great signer, not sure what youre talking about
I am willing to bet every modern card is a psa 10
bros 100% lying about a spec of dust rehold to a 10😂😂😂😂
Can’t believe someone would pay a mil for the jersey lol that to me is absurd
I heard it's risky sending a sports card to the player for an autograph?
.y uncle Paul said the player might not send it back
That willy maya auto looks sloppy
I wonder if he has ever paid alot to meet an athlete and signature got rejected as not authentic by PSA.
Doubt it
The music in the background is incredibly annoying.
Lmao I barely noticed it.
Rich people collection.
STOP CALLING IT SOCCER JEFF IT'S CALLED FOOTBALL. YOU SIMPLY KICK THE BALL WITH YOUR FEET.
Don’t forget about the Trump supporting Mahomes fans
🇺🇸
Cristiano Ronaldo is the GOAT
If u love sports cards like the comment
Last video every complained Geoff cares about $ more than cards. Enjoy the video. Do the searches you want.
Why no value prices shown? Boo
look 'em up yourself, it's all relative anyway, especially if you're watching this video a year or two out in the future
Can’t wait for Johnny to learn about Market Movers
I have 4 NNOF Frank Thomas . I have a video on my channel with me pulling it. It is less than: 30 seconds short video
