Hi Bren, just booked a sky priority flight to Zanzibar via Amsterdam and I'm wondering how the seat recline works. Are people being a reclined seat affected or is there a hard barrier limiting recline from disturbing passengers behind. Does this make sense?

Consistently relaxing and enjoyable trip reports !! I still have my Dutch House from a KLM flight years ago but it wasn't filled with any spirits back then. I guess now KLM wants their Business fliers to not only have a keepsake of their flight but to be 'Happy'. 😁 Cheers 🥂
I don’t know which country you were flying to, but some destinations don’t allow KLM to offer their passengers alcoholic beverages to take off the plane! I know that flying to some destinations in the middle-east only give you the houses but without the beverage

This was a business trip many, many years ago but I think I was flying from the U.S. to Amsterdam and taking a connecting flight from there to my final destination. I really liked that KLM provided this unexpected momento. It sits on my fireplace mantel to this day.

Nice video, but if you tell the registration of KLM plane, please tell name that belongs to the plane. It's part of their identity. In this case the name of the plane is 'morgenster' (morning star). But next time, please do it.

Another great trip report from you! I enjoyed again your great cam work, the systematic strory and the excellent narrative, well done!! I personally have a love-hate relationship with KLM: wonderful crews but awful F&B. The lounge looked way better than i experienced it 2 yeaars ago in the morning. At that time, it simply was a zoo and food offerings were extremely poor and cheap. This time, it looked much better and i thought: can i finally love - love KLM? I hoped so..until i read again the infamous chicken thigh..and it just looked like infamous chicken thigh. My experience was that also other dished are presented in this horrible way and are drowned in sauce. And the wine list confirmed yet another time that KLM is still saving on expenditures to entertain pax..if it were not for the wonderful crews...but just compare the food and the way it is presented and the table is set on QR flights..worlds of difference. Wished that their F&B came just a bit close to the quality of your trip reporting:))

Great review. I haven't flown KLM before, but very tempted to as we can now earn Virgin Flying Club miles and status. Seems like a good business class product and a pleasant alternative to BA Club World (via LHR).
Flying with KLM from England to Utah in September and actually change in Amsterdam. Hoping they'll take pity on me travelling alone and upgrade me, but that's just a pipedream. 🤣
Thai's not a window seat. It's an aisle seat that from which you can see a window. A window seat is next to a window. You should have demanded a refund for the broken wi-fi. After horrendous experiences with KLM (including being abandoned in Asia) and their crews we'll never fly them again.
KLM is a great airline as far as safety is concerned but their in-flight service not so much. It's not lack of training but rather a matter of attitude. The service-oriented attitude is just not in the average Dutch person. Meals are ok but nothing special. Overall KLM is a good and reliable airline.

KLM is no deluxe carrier anymore. NO FIRST CLASS CABIN. IT WAS CALLED ROYAL CLASS. This an average bizclass product.
