Something about Revelation Dance… it’s also a Tera Blast special to Orocorio… because it follows maintyping, if you Tera to any type, let’s say, Grass, Revelation Dance will be Grass type… it’s fun
For revelation dance, an easier method is possible as of gen 9, with smeargle with the moveset of Double Shock, Conversion, and then Revelation Dance (in that order). Then use Conversion to become an electric type, then use double shock to remove the typing and have a permanentely typeless revelation dance. This will also work if you replace Double Shock for Burn Up.
A special case I would like to mention is Gen 1 Counter, Seismic Toss, and Night Shade. Unlike modern gens, the former 2 can hit Ghost-types and the latter can hit Normal-types, which isn't the case in later gens. I don't if they count as typeless since they are set damage moves, but they also don't utilize the type chart when factoring in immunities, making them typeless as well.
The funny thing is that Future Sight ignored Wonder Guard in Gen 3 at least, this was part of a Battle CD in Pokémon XD where Future Sight was the ONLY way that you could take out a Shedinja. The Battle CD's were mostly puzzle fights with interesting solutions, the typeless ability-bypassing Future Sight was one of those unique solutions.
oricorio works perfectly in double battles. oricorio and volcarona sent out first. Both use quiver dance and oricorio will get a double stats boost with dancer. It's double synergy. volcarona will use fiery dance with a chance of boosting special attack. Oricorio will copy fiery dance with a special attack boost alongside stab revelation dance.
Thank you Matt for speaking a bit slower!! I can enjoy the video without using the RUclips tool to slow it down. Keep on doing the great work, guys! ❤❤❤
I propose the next Let's GO spinoff be set in Kalos where you follow a young Lysandre and his trusty Capsakid. Lysandre, after he loses Caspakid in a tragic incident, goes mad about the ugliness of the world. Even after his Capsakid returns, Lysandre cannot let go of his anger and begins his evil arc. You can call it _Pokémon: Le Scovillain._
I do not like Scovillain in the slightest but I did use one in my fire type gym leader run of Pokemon Violet because it would work well on the team. I’m usually willing to put my hatred of a Pokémon aside if it’s of use to me on a particular team
I mean I kinda have to feel bad for it. Imagine finally being the first mon of a long-wanted type combo, and then an objectively better mon of that type combo shows up a year later
That’s like the OPPOSITE of how it should be! You should play with the Pokémon you love, not because they’re good or bad, but because they’re the ones that make you the happiest!
I think it is a given that if you mention content that you cut out, people are gonna want to see what was cut. The semicolon conversation should have been membership content by default
Huge fan of semicolons. Colons, too. I am a connoisseur of rare punctuation and think that, used properly, a healthy mix of commas and semicolons can make text a lot easier to read.
@MEPlaysGames spreading love and peace throughout the cosmos. I'm sure I'll be either a cyborg, AI, or somehow transcend the mortal plane to become an omnipotent-being a la Q from Start Trek, but much less mischievous.
There’s also Psywave that does damage according to a certain formula. It’s labeled as a Psychic move in-game but while it does a range of damage it can’t affect Dark types
The thing about Pokemon with two Starter types like Scovillain and Ludicolo, is it’s hard to justify putting one on a team if you want to avoid type overlaps. I just use an extended team of more than six and swap out Pokemon as I see fit. also the Honedge line have genders because they’re the gender of the ghost that’s possessing the sword.
I appreciate Scovillain’s unique typing and concept. Outside of peppers, I’m not sure how else to base a grass/fire Pokemon. With that said, I hate how butt ugly it is and how bad its stats are
@@djdrizzy9139 oh yeah, love the tiki idea! I get the significance of the burning bush, but the concept of putting plants on fire seems too plain. Here’s hoping that Sunflora gets its evolution next gen!
13:15 Out of all the languages, why Polish? So that I could read it and see how horrible the auto-translation is? xD Speaking of which... "ground type" got translated to "earthbound/ground-based" ...huh, aside from sounding very stiff, there actually weren't too many translation errors. Neat, I guess.
First time checking out this channel, and I now know what it's like to be inside the brain of someone tormented with ADHD. Semicolons are the best, Scovillain's not what I pictured a grass/fire type would look like, good to know that Caterpie can now theoretically solo a game, thanks for the Jirachi strategies/rant, and I'm happy that Groudon has a ball to splash around with.
Wait... If we remove the fire type from oricorio via burn up... Then we might have a good special flying type move that doesnt have any risk or smaller base power!!!
Not only that, but it could still use Revelation Dance as a typeless move on turns where it uses Roost, since Roost removes the Flying type. It would just need another Pokemon to use Revelation Dance so it can copy the move with Dancer, which is unlikely but otherwise really cool.
Serene Grace Jirachi not being banned is one of the reasons as to why I can't take Smogon seriously. Or competitive Pokémon in general. Also I love the spastic way you guys narrate the videos, kinda like in Scribblenauts and Lord of The Rings.
Scovillain is a disappointing Pokémon; It has a great typing but is held back by its mixed attacking stats and mediocre signature move. Like if you get it
There wasn't really an argument per se, more so just talking about how we like semicolons and why this is the first time we felt the need to use one in the script
@@MEPlaysGames you pretty much said there was no argument, just a dialogue, but I still wanted to see a government (kinda like the UN organization kind of deal) level argument over semicolons, it just seems goofy and completely possible

they should make thunderbolt typeless
13:39 If Scovillain got a Hydreigon-like evolution, it probably wouldn't affect the trout population
It definitely would, as trout would be weak to it’s grass moves

Caspakid split Evo that is a fire/grass type but has an ability that gives ghost type stab because it's a ghost pepper
Revelation dance is better tera blast that doesn’t become physical
basically the only reason you'd want physical revelation dance is if you are using a dancer ddance gimmick
@@SUPABROS no, what I meant is that rev dance is only good for special atkers

@rayaneouizare6885 they're supposed to resemble the comedy/tragedy theater masks

Did you know that Scovillain is a Typeless type pokemon in ff9 because it's not in the game ?

My dirty secret is I like Scovillian and think people just haven't figured out how to unlock its potential.
Scovillain its the best Gen9 Fire Type
Fight me
Oreo-Cori-oh 😂😂😂
Oricorio just like Furfrou and Squawkabillie were missed opportunities
That castform bit had me wheezing. Don't fire Elias

Isn't stellar also typeless in a sense? Idk stellar always seemed so weird and mid
Not really, it just operates on a system independent of standard types. I guess you could make that argument though
Nah, Stellar’s just the result of some cretin that should get served up as some fancy soup down in Medali if they ever run out of Wartortle.
Stellar is super effective to the Tera system typeless isn't super effective to anything
